Very basic but I was expecting that. Kind of one up from a hostel. Shared a room with my teenagers for an overnighter. Done the job for sleeping but wouldn't want to spend any longer than that there. Only beds, a small TV and basic bathroom. No drink making facilities etc but a free to use machine in reception which was basic but ok. Cheap room for the night and I'm glad I took earplugs only because by 6am there seemed to be a lot of loud talking and chains flushing.

The hotel is very centralised...minutes away from the train station and also walkable distance to all major sights. Good place for short stay. Only negative is that the room is small for 3 people and no lift. Difficult if u have big luggage to carry up....but overall it was a pleasant stay

Basic hotel room with basic amenities, not much to say. Location is good though, centrally located and near Amsterdam Centraal station. Lift is working. The hotel also kindly give us vouchers for shops around Amsterdam. Our favourite was the voucher for the Old Amsterdam Cheese store. Low rating for service because the staff at the counter, she isn’t really cheerful and welcoming towards asians somehow…

I stayed at Hotel Avenue for 4 days 3 nights with my family and honestly we’re super satisfied.
Location very strategic, dekat Dam Square, depan hotel terus ada tram yang directly goes around the area, so memang senang nak go anywhere.
Area around the hotel pun easy to find halal-friendly food, ada burger halal nearby named “Oh My Bun!!”, so delicious, you have to try 🍔🤍
Room quite spacious, clean and comfortable for family stay.
Overall memang recommended kalau datang Amsterdam with family ✨

Easy to arrive from Amsterdam Centraal station. A very small entrance which u may miss it. After open the entrance door, we found a long stairs to check in floor and hotel rooms. It was a bit difficult for us to move 2 big luggages to 2/F without the help of friendly and helpful reception staff.
The staff was too nice to upgrade our room with balcony. However, the balcony wasn’t really a workable balcony.🤣
There were considerate iPhone chargers near the bed. The room was Tidy, clean with modern n new decoration.
The toilet bowl lid seemed not fit on toilet bowl in our room though it didn’t affect its function.
There were 2 times alarm sounds in the midnight of our 2nd night stay which we didn’t know why but forgot to check with the staff.
To conclude, it is a convenient and nice hotel.

The location of the hotel is good, but the room is very small, the suitcase is not big enough to open, and there is free coffee and free cocoa at the front desk. If you arrive early, you can also store your luggage for free. But the stairs are too narrow, and it is a bit difficult to carry the luggage

I purposely booked this hotel because it was out skirt of the city centre. Less touristy. There was parking available next to the hotel. There wasn’t a hotel bar available but next to hotel there was a Japanese restaurant. To get some drinks. So if you want to get out of the city centre and get some rest, I would recommend this place

The subway station is just 100 meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. I'd definitely consider booking here again in the future, especially since the Ctrip price was excellent. It would be even more perfect if I could earn Accor points!

GGuest UserWe reserved the standard room but got a free upgrade to superior. The room was very clean and spacious. We even got a kitchen when our original room didn't have one!
They let us keep our luggage there even after checkout and the staff was very pleasant.
The position of the hotel is very good too, just next to train and bus station, one stop from the centre.
Even so, the room is very well isolated and it's quiet at night.

I liked this hotel overall, mainly because of its fantastic location right in the center of Amsterdam. It was extremely convenient for walking around the city, and all the main attractions are very close by. The staff was friendly, multilingual, and helpful with everything. They gave us great recommendations on where to go and even lent us an umbrella for the rain.
Our room on the 4th floor was very spacious, especially by Amsterdam standards. However, the cleanliness was a major disappointment. The room was poorly cleaned: there was a lot of dust, the closets were dirty, and the coffee machine was so filthy that we didn't even want to use it.
My overall impression is not bad, but due to the lack of cleanliness, I would not stay at this hotel again.

GGuest UserThe front desk is located in a room inside a bar, and I was assigned a room in an adjacent building. The stairs are a bit too narrow, so you need to be careful. There are no common areas available. There are charging ports next to the bed. There are two toilets and two sinks, as well as cabinets for storage. The staff are alright.

JJK meI recently stayed at ClinkNOORD Hostel in Amsterdam, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The location is one of its biggest advantages—just a short free ferry ride from Amsterdam Central Station, which makes it very convenient while still being in a quieter area.
The hostel itself has a modern and stylish design, with plenty of common spaces to relax, work, or meet other travelers. The atmosphere is social but not overwhelming, so it works well whether you’re traveling solo or with friends.

GGuest UserWe spent our winter holiday here and there are plenty of local groceries stores around. The train station is just a breeze walk away so it’s easy to travel around. The Zaanse Schans (windmill attraction), Zaandam (‘Lego’ house) is just few stations away from the hotel. Stay wise it’s comfortable but can get tad abit noisy as the sound insulation between walls are rather weak. All in all we will definitely stay here again!

JJessieLjjTransiting through Amsterdam on our way to Madrid, this hotel was okay for a one-night stay. Hotels were surprisingly expensive this week, so we couldn't expect too much for a triple room costing around 500-600 euros. I brought my own disposable sheets to put over the bed. The kettle and other amenities looked a bit dirty, so I didn't use them. I also brought my own hairdryer. Not having slippers was quite inconvenient, but I guess that's normal in Europe. Even the city-center hotel apartments we stayed at later in Madrid and Barcelona didn't provide them; I only got to wear slippers when we reached a five-star hotel in Segovia.
The private bathroom was separate from the room, which was a bit inconvenient, but I knew that when booking.
Also, because I woke up so early, I decided to walk to the canals. It was quite a long walk, about three kilometers, actually.
