Miss Yang Ling at the front desk is exceptionally good; she always solves any requests with a smile. You can also drink as much water and beverages as you like, no need to worry about running out. The location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere, and there are plenty of food options right outside."

"Although the room wasn't huge, the bedding was comfortable and the furnishings were decent. The only downside was seeing a giant ant on the second day that was incredibly hard to kill – I had to flush it down the toilet in the end! I didn't see any more after that, and I guess it's normal to have ants in tropical Singapore. The hotel's buffet was excellent, with very fresh seafood – definitely worth trying."

"Stayed for 3 nights in June as the aircon at my place broke down and needed a cool environment to work and sleep. The hotel is located conveniently off Keong Siak Street with a lot of good food nearby and walking distance to mrt and Chinatown. The rooms are on the smaller side. I was allocated a room on the 2nd floor at first which has an elongated design with narrow walkway but was moved to another room at the third floor as I was not able to get any data signal in the first room to be able to work. The second room has the usual square design. It is still small with the double bed taking up more than half the space. The bed is stuck to both sides of the wall thus you literally have to ”roll” out of the bed which I do not fancy. The bed is comfortable though with soft pillows. Another peeve is the bathroom. Due to the design, whenever you shower, the water from the bath will flow to the toilet area making it wet. I really dislike a wet toilet. To resolve this, I had to move the floor towel to cover the curb between shower and toilet. Otherwise no issue. The wash basin for the second room is outside the toilet area. The usual coffee tea and bottled water are provided. The hotel also provide soft drinks in the fridge for free. There is also safe deposit box in the room. Not much storage, no chairs no table for working."

"I had read some negative reviews before checking in and was mentally prepared for potential issues. However, my actual experience was surprisingly good. First, the location is excellent, practically zero distance from Tanjong Pagar MRT Exit A. One day, during heavy rain, I didn't get a single drop on me when walking from the MRT exit to the hotel lobby, thanks to the building's covered walkway. Second, the hotel's facilities are quite new and well-maintained, comparable to hotels in China. Regarding the cleaning service, many people mentioned it's not daily, but there are two solutions: 1. Clearly request 'daily clean' at check-in, and they will note it down. 2. Turn on the 'make up room' light before heading out each day, and the cleaning staff will enter to clean and replenish towels. Additionally, the hotel staff were all very friendly and tried their best to fulfill any requests. The only downside to this hotel is the breakfast; it was the most unsatisfactory I've ever had among all the five-star hotels I've stayed in. I often felt hungry even after eating. I suggest skipping breakfast and opting for the food court downstairs instead. By the way, there's a Mr Coconut and Guardian at the MRT station downstairs, which is very convenient! Recommended!"

"The location is super convenient, right by the MRT station in the heart of Chinatown. You can walk to famous spots like Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Toast Box, and Boon Tong Kee. There's also a mall right next to the MRT station with a Fairprice supermarket and Mr. Coconut. However, the room is seriously tiny. Forget two suitcases; even opening one requires serious space management. While there are plenty of shelves for storage, if you need a lot of space, you should definitely reconsider. On the bright side, the room is clean, tidy, and new. There are also lots of mirrors, which is great for girls doing their makeup – a vanity mirror and a full-length mirror. Soundproofing isn't great; you can practically hear hair dryers from other rooms. There was also a slight drip from the ceiling, which the front desk said was an AC issue. Accommodation in Chinatown is generally expensive, so there's not much choice. However, for this price, you could get a much bigger room in Hong Kong, Japan, or Shanghai. So, I'd recommend looking around and considering your options."
