The location is right on a busy main road, so there's a lot of traffic as soon as you step out. It can be quite stressful and not ideal for a relaxing vacation. However, it would be much more suitable for business travelers. The facilities inside are a bit outdated, but the price reflects that. It's not close to the beach, which makes it less suitable for family trips.

Conveniently located right next to the Lomprayah Ferry Pier. I checked out before breakfast, which starts at 7 AM. Even if you quickly grab breakfast after checking in for your ferry, you'll still make the 8 AM departure. This time, I went just before 7 AM and noticed a few people were already eating. It would be even better if the restaurant opened at 6:30 AM.
Upon checking in around 10 PM, there were two parties ahead of me. While I was enjoying my welcome drink, another guest cut in line and was attended to first. I finally managed to check in after waiting for about 30 minutes. With only one person at the front desk, wait times become excessively long, leading to a poor impression for all guests. I hope this can be improved for a better experience.

We stayed in deluxe room 302. They put us on the first floor, as I requested. A wonderful, quiet small hotel right on the beach. Anyone who says the hotel doesn't have access to the sea is lying. There are two access points to the sea from the hotel grounds. Two clean swimming pools. Maenam Beach is wonderful! No waves. The staff cleans the beach daily. I recommend it for retirees and families with small children! There are three supermarkets within walking distance, lots of cafes, a small night market with food, and an excellent morning market with fruit! Plenty of massage parlors. Room cleaning is available upon request. You need to put a sign on the door asking for cleaning. Water, tea, and coffee are replenished daily. For a three-star hotel, it's simply superb!
Today we moved to Lamai, but it's impossible to swim here because of the strong waves. Everyone sits on the beach. I already want to go back to the Florist Resort!

A nice hotel right on the seashore. The furniture in the room is old, and there are small ants crawling around. There are large ants on the porch, but they're harmless and don't bite. I didn't like the food in the hotel restaurant. The young girls cook, and they're not very good at cooking in a hurry. I ate at the ”Sisters Kob” restaurant, and I recommend it. It's quiet after 8:00 PM. There are no parties or drinking. The continent is mostly European.
This is a great place to stay. The owner is very attentive to detail for guests. The room is spacious, the bed is large with lots of pillows (including bolster pillows), there are two power strips, plenty of tea and coffee, a kettle, microwave, hairdryer, very large towels, and a safe. Everything you need is in the room. It smells clean and smells great. I slept very comfortably. I was very impressed with this place and would give it 100 stars if I could. I appreciate the service and attention to detail; some large hotels don't even offer these things.

A warm welcome from the reception staff and they were nice enough to bring us and our bags up to our room, good thing too as the hills within the hotel rooms are very steep. Extremely nice room, beautiful infinity pool overlooking Koh Samui. The breakfast is excellent with many choices you order off the menu rather than the traditional buffet style. The gym was also well equipt for a light workout. The only thing I will say is that this hotel is slightly difficult to access if you are on foot. Its not like you can take a 5 minute stroll to the main high street, its a long windy road with lots of hills and sharp turns, a car or scooter will be needed to get from the hotel to the town but aside from that its an excellent hotel and I would happily visit again.

We stayed in a private bungalow and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beautiful views from the terrace, and the well-thought-out interior design. They have their own private beach, a massage service with sea views, a varied breakfast spread, a swimming pool, and sun loungers with umbrellas and towels. We even saw squirrels running around the grounds!

A wonderful hotel on the seashore. Large, well-maintained grounds. Standard breakfasts. The room with pool access is large and appears to have two double beds, even though it's designed for two adults. The staff is helpful. I would have happily extended my stay, but there were no available rooms.
The only downside is the loud neighbors near the pool in my room; I could hear them very clearly. When I contacted the staff, they resolved the issue fairly quickly.

A wonderful place. Fantastic beach and pool. Rooms are quite well-maintained. The staff are friendly. However, at check-in, a young manager unjustifiably tried to charge us 200 baht for an early check-in. The issue was resolved with the help of a supervisor. Just be aware!

I had a really good stay at Tree Monkey Hostel. The room felt comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower facilities were clean and easy to use. I also liked that you can choose between hot and cold water anytime - simple but very practical.
It’s a pretty basic setup, but in a good way - it covers all the essentials without feeling like anything is missing. For me, it was more than enough.
One of the highlights was the staff. The woman handling check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Even though her English isn’t perfect, communication was still easy. She’s very accommodating and always tries to help or find a solution, which I really appreciated.
The location is also great, with restaurants nearby and the beach within easy reach, so it’s very convenient overall.
One thing to mention is that there were some drain flies in the room. That said, they didn’t bother me much - especially at night when sleeping, I barely noticed them. It might be something to keep in mind, but for me personally it wasn’t a big issue.
Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with very friendly and helpful service.

Ddihno aharonMost friendly staff, big And luxury room, great Pool And beutiful Beach. Breakfast was unforgatable.
CCw233My daughter wanted to stay in a villa, so we chose this hotel, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The hotel was renovated in 2011, so it's a bit old, but it's very well-maintained overall. The lobby is grand and new, and the entire hotel feels like a miniature tropical jungle. Half of it is dedicated to various villas spread out, while the other half has pools connecting the rooms. Even though there are many trees, we didn't encounter any mosquitoes or insects, so the hotel must have treated the area. The hotel has its own beach with white sand and turquoise water. I woke up every day hoping to catch the sunrise, but unfortunately, it rained during my entire stay, so I only saw the morning glow. The hotel service is excellent; they promptly resolve any issues. We stayed in a Grand Bunch Garden Bungalow and added an extra bed. The room's amenities and details were well-maintained, and the shower was very comfortable. The only minor quirk was the traditional key and wooden bolt lock on the door. We didn't know how to lock it at first, so we called the front desk, and they patiently showed us how, haha. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight – right in the heart of Chaweng Beach's liveliest street in Koh Samui! ARK BAR is right next door. Their restaurant serves delicious food, and the beach bar at night is incredibly vibrant! There are fireworks and a fire show every night from 8 PM to 2 AM, allowing us to experience Koh Samui's nightlife up close. Plus, the hotel offers a quiet retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. While it's located on a street filled with bars, restaurants, and massage parlors, the bar noise can be loud at night, so it's a good idea to request a room away from the bar street when booking. There are many massage places and restaurants along the street outside the hotel, all similarly priced and of good quality with clear pricing, so you can choose based on your preference! My family was very satisfied this time, and I'm even writing a review for the first time, haha! 😃
BbooncekMYI recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and it was a truly relaxing experience. The hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery, which creates a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Whether you’re enjoying the sunrise or simply soaking in the natural beauty from the balcony, it’s easy to unwind here. The hotel itself is very comfortable, with well-appointed rooms that make you feel right at home. The cozy bed and tranquil ambiance contributed to a restful stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall relaxing vibe. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway where you can truly relax and enjoy your surroundings, I highly recommend this hotel.
AAnonymous UserThe resort I itself was good and full of amenities and well located as its quiet but close to many places as well, however the service was lacking as there was barely any attention paid to guests. We had figure things out ourselves as well as call out multiple times before we had help
MMoonloverThe hotel has a private beach, a swimming pool, the location is great, there are a lot of restaurants and massage places near the restaurant. Lamai night market also is a walking distance. The restaurant by the beach is great, we enjoyed the breakfast by the sea, the prices at the restaurant are a bit pricey but having a coconut juice by the beach is worth it. The amenities overall were good, 4 stars for cleanness because the air con was dirty inside out. The dust was visible on the top of AC and the air wasn’t fresh.
GGuest UserGarrya Tongsai Bay Samui is one of those places that stays with you.
What really makes the difference is the people. The service is excellent, but more importantly, it feels sincere. The staff are genuinely kind, always smiling, always present, and somehow they manage to make everything feel easy and natural. You never feel rushed or overlooked, just quietly taken care of. Special thanks to ”mamy” the fruit lady at breakfast that is a pure expression of joy and the Yoga and Muay Thai instructor.
The facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, but without feeling stiff or overdesigned. Everything works, everything feels comfortable, and there’s a calmness to the whole place that makes you slow down almost without noticing. Rooms, pools, spa, restaurants, all of it feels thoughtfully done.
The setting is something special. Surrounded by greenery and right on a peaceful bay, it feels private, quiet, and deeply connected to nature. You hear the sea, the wind in the trees, and very little else. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax.
Nothing here feels forced or flashy. It’s just consistently good, warm, and balanced. A place you leave feeling better than when you arrived.
Can't wait to be back to this special place.
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were genuinely impressed by the level of service throughout our visit. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is another major highlight is it is right on the beach, making it incredibly convenient for morning swims and sunset strolls. The hotel itself was comfortable and well maintained, providing a relaxing base for our trip. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service in a beachside location.
CChengluThis hotel choice was truly excellent! I booked two nights, one in a sea-view room and the other in a sea-view villa 🏠. I have to say, the rooms were actually better in person than in the hotel's promotional photos, which was a pleasant surprise! 👍🏼 The breakfast was good too, mostly à la carte, but the real highlight was the incredible view, which truly impressed me ✌️.
GGuest UserI’ll start to say that the overall stay was nice, beautiful resort, nice view, well located.
But a few things important to relate, the bed was very hard, mattress uncomfortable, pillows flat, bed sheets old. After 5 nights spent there, both my gf and I suffered from back pain. Then the socket on the bed side table was broken, on our last night, the water stopped when I was right in the middle of showering and the toilets were clogged from time to time. Lastly there was way too much chlorine inside our private pool.
ไไป•กับ•ไฟนอลIt is a very good place to relax, quiet, peaceful, really relaxing. The accommodation is beautiful, the sunlight, the lights, the air conditioning is cool, everything is good. If I go to Samui again, I will definitely come back to stay again.
