"This stay truly exceeded my expectations, I'm incredibly satisfied! I especially want to thank Flora Sun, who patiently helped me from before check-in. As a foreign visitor, she helped me sign for a package delivered to the hotel in advance and meticulously arranged all my requests before arrival. Her communication and service were incredibly thoughtful, making me feel completely at ease even before I got to the hotel. When I mentioned during check-in that this trip was for a birthday celebration, I was so surprised to find that she had thoughtfully decorated my room! Opening the door was a truly delightful and touching moment. This level of care made my birthday trip even more memorable. It really felt like the hotel wasn't just going through the motions, but genuinely put themselves in the guest's shoes to provide warm and considerate service. The hotel's location is also excellent, directly connected to Galleria Mall, making dining, shopping, and grocery runs incredibly convenient. You can easily get around regardless of the weather. For first-time visitors to Dalian, this location is highly recommended. The hotel itself is an apartment-style hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with full amenities. The washing machine, refrigerator, and other appliances are very practical, making it perfect for stays of several days or even longer. The overall environment is quiet, and the hygiene is excellent, ensuring a very comfortable stay. This trip was with my mother, who has some difficulty with her legs. The hotel staff provided a lot of help and care from check-in to check-out, which made our entire journey much easier. This kind of service truly feels very warm. Finally, I want to thank Flora Sun again for her consistent patience, meticulousness, and genuine help. Her professionalism and enthusiasm made this stay even more perfect. If I ever have the chance to visit Dalian again, I will definitely choose to stay here, and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family. "I booked two rooms and they were able to arrange for them to be together. The service was excellent and professional, and all the staff I encountered were very friendly. Breakfast until 10 AM gets very crowded, so waiting for a table is common. For all three days, we were seated at the lobby coffee tables. On the first day, due to the sheer number of guests, breakfast was even extended until 10:30 AM. Food was actively replenished, and there was a good variety. They also kindly provided takeaway boxes, which was a nice touch. The swimming pool is open until 11 PM and has lifeguards. The depth ranges from 1.3 to 1.5 meters, with separate lanes for swimming and a play area, so they don't interfere with each other. I also saw staff monitoring the water quality. There are many restaurants nearby; Sun Moon Rise (日月昇) is just a 7-8 minute walk away. Getting a taxi to various attractions is also quite convenient, but if you're heading to Dalian Station, it's best to allow extra time for a taxi as it's so close that drivers often cancel orders. On departure, there was a small surprise for the children. The kids' play area has strong air conditioning and closes at 6 PM. There's an apartment building behind the hotel that shares facilities, which could also be an option."

"Facilities: A bit old-fashioned. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: Loved it, a perfect family-friendly hotel. Service: Good. The hotel's own activities are suitable for young children. It's very close to the beach, so getting to the sand is super convenient. My kids' favorite activity every day was walking to the beach. After they got tired of playing, we'd head back to rest, and from our room, we could hear the sound of the waves. It truly felt like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms all around'."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated. However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons: 1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway. 2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic? 3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken! 4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay. For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Zhongshan Square, with convenient access to dining, accommodation, and transportation. My only issue was having to switch rooms upon arrival (I was traveling with a child and had specifically requested a room without any unpleasant odors when booking, but the first room reeked, even with an air purifier running – surely the hotel should have noticed this before guests do). Housekeeping was prompt, and the pool was clean and tidy. Aside from the price, I was quite satisfied. Since breakfast wasn't included, we explored the local eateries. KFC, Hezhanjia (Japanese), Qicaihe (Korean), and Yizao Yiwan (for tofu pudding and fried dough sticks) were all great. For groceries, Xinlongjia supermarket had fresh fruit. Dalian Shopping Mall wasn't far and offered plenty of dining options. All in all, it's a suitable hotel for families."

What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the entire staff – from the concierge to the front desk and housekeepers, everyone was warm, welcoming, and promptly attended to any requests. The hotel pool is a definite highlight; the water is clean, and the facilities are well-maintained. The kids absolutely loved it, and it was a perfect spot to spend some leisure time splashing around. While the room's hardware felt a bit dated, the thoughtful and attentive service more than made up for any shortcomings. This is a great choice if you're traveling with children, and overall, it was a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!"

"First off, the location is fantastic – nestled by the mountains and the sea, yet still conveniently close to the city. The architectural style is grand and imposing; it's beautiful both inside and out. It's a photographer's dream with so many picturesque spots, perfect for those who love taking photos. For families or those with kids, I highly recommend a sea-view room. My trip was quite spontaneous; I booked hotels last minute for all three nights. Honestly, the value for money here surpasses the Grand Hyatt, though it might not be as close to Xingyue Square. However, you can easily get around by taxi, or use the hotel shuttle to go down the hill. If the weather's nice, a leisurely stroll down is also enjoyable (you might even spot a deer along Binhai West Road – they're super cute! The complimentary apples from the hotel are a hit with them, even more so than carrots). Plus, the room views here are much better than the Grand Hyatt. Most Grand Hyatt rooms offer an angled sea view, whereas at Yi Fang Castle, the rooms generally face the sea directly, front and center. The service deserves five stars. The front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic. When we had a minor issue with the toilet in our room, they were proactive in resolving it. They even followed up at check-out to ask about our experience and later called to apologize, concerned about affecting our stay. We only discovered the toilet lid was beeping around 11 PM. A technician came to look, but it seemed like it couldn't be fixed right away. We asked the front desk, and they immediately sent new room cards and upgraded our room. Though it was a small hiccup, we felt truly taken care of. Our whole family unanimously decided we'd stay here again on our next trip to Dalian. It's convenient whether you want to just relax or go out and explore. One small heads-up for those considering staying: the hotel has been open for a while now, so it has that classic, established luxury hotel style. If you prioritize modern facilities, you might want to consider other options. Hotels closer to Donggang tend to be newer. It really depends on individual needs. I'd recommend it to photography lovers, families with kids, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We didn't dine at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food. However, Dalian has many delicious dining options, and the city isn't too big, so you can easily find great food just by exploring."

"My wife, child, and I had a wonderful vacation in Dalian, and choosing the Grand Hyatt was absolutely the right decision. Every room in the fan-shaped building offers a sea view, and in the evening, the bridge lights up, creating a truly magical atmosphere – perfect for my wife's photos. The hotel is incredibly thoughtful towards children, proactively arranging kids' amenities, and the heated pool's shallow area is safe and worry-free. Xinghai Square is right downstairs, making it easy to take the little one to play in the sand and feed seagulls after dinner, keeping our trip relaxed and enjoyable. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the service is meticulous and attentive. The butler service was exceptionally helpful. It truly lives up to its five-star reputation, and our whole family had a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it for families with children!"

"Four Seasons service, endless warmth! Because of the Four Seasons Hotel Dalian, our trip to Dalian was particularly unforgettable! Special thanks to: Jane, the hotel's duty manager, was especially nice. She continuously and attentively cared for us, even messaging us before check-out to ask if we needed any room supplies. Special thanks to Ms. Adale from the Guest Experience Department. She contacted me three days before check-in and proactively helped upgrade our room type. I also want to thank the kind lady who provided the turn-down service in our room. Seeing that there was no place to hang our child's clothes, she proactively asked her colleague to bring a 'spider-style' drying rack.
