"Service: The service was excellent. A specialist contacted us a day in advance to help arrange a room with a fantastic view of the fireworks. They even sent a reminder message when it was time. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. I'm very satisfied. Facilities: It's a bit of a shame there's no fridge. The foot traffic is really high. We stayed two nights but couldn't get a table at the rooftop restaurant. The performance venue is conveniently located right across the street, but it gets very crowded and a bit hot. It's better to watch the fire show and fireworks from the room. Overall, I'm very happy with the room."

"This is our third time booking the Dragon Dream Ancient Town Hotel, and it continues to exceed our expectations! The hotel has a grand Chinese style, the rooms are spacious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The balcony offers an expansive view; we booked a scenic room and enjoyed watching the ancient town's night view in the evening, and even the fireworks show from bed – a perfect experience. The penguin exhibit in the lobby is still a favorite with the kids and is quite unique. The underground passage leads directly to the performing arts complex, making it incredibly convenient to explore the ancient town and see shows without being exposed to the elements or having to take a detour. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Parking is free for those driving, and it's very convenient for visiting the Grand Circus and the Animal World. It's suitable for both family trips and romantic getaways. We will definitely choose this place again next time!"

"The hotel left a strong impression of disparity. While the exterior facade looked grand, the interior hardware, climate control, bathroom facilities, and overall hygiene all had significant shortcomings. 1. **Ineffective Climate Control Throughout:** The cooling in all public areas, including the lobby and restaurant, was extremely poor, making prolonged stays uncomfortable. Some areas even relied on portable air coolers. The in-room air conditioning barely functioned; it needed to be set to 1-2℃ and run for several hours before the room temperature would slowly drop. 2. **Aging and Damaged Bathroom Facilities, Poor User Experience:** The bathroom equipment showed severe wear and tear. The showerhead was badly clogged, resulting in a sporadic, weak trickle of water. When attempting to fill the bathtub, water leaked out as it was being filled. The bathroom facilities clearly lacked regular inspection and maintenance. 3. **Inadequate Room Hygiene Control, Prominent Insect Problem:** Small flying insects frequently appeared in the room, on the duvet, and on the curtains. Although there was a sign on the balcony door instructing guests to contact staff if they saw insects, it begs the question of why daily pest control isn't proactively performed during cleaning. 4. **Set-top Box Repeatedly Crashed for No Reason.** On the bright side, the hotel staff's attitude and response speed were satisfactory."

The place was exceptionally clean, and the food was decent. The room facilities were all new, and the provided tissues were of good quality, but the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great. A few men were playing cards and smoking in the lobby downstairs, which wasn't ideal and disturbed others. The guesthouse does have private rooms for playing cards and mahjong; I'd actually recommend that smokers use those rooms.

This is a hidden gem of a guesthouse that I wanted to recommend to friends even before leaving. It boasts a huge garden and lawn, a small park next door, and a clean stream behind. The owners are incredibly kind and easygoing, yet you can feel their dedication to every detail of the guesthouse. Even though no one was swimming due to the cold weather, the owners kept the pool spotless. They even took us to nearby attractions. The rooms are perfect for two adults and one child or two adults and two children, featuring a huge balcony and swing. The food at the guesthouse is also fantastic. The village where the guesthouse is located has a very charming atmosphere; even the roadside barriers are adorable. Although it wasn't the season for golden ginkgo trees, the rows of ginkgo trees along the streets were still uniquely beautiful. There weren't many people during the National Day holiday, making for a very chill three-day, two-night stay.

I really can't help but boast! The homestay is located in the mountains, and the window is full of greenery. The air is so fresh that people can't help but breathe deeply. The whole environment is very exquisitely maintained, with both the tranquility of the countryside and the sense of design. The room facilities are very attentive, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is clean and refreshing, and the details can see the taste of the owner. The dishes in the restaurant are even more pleasant, the ingredients are fresh and authentic, and each one is made with a taste, which completely exceeds expectations. What impressed me most was the service. From check-in to departure, every staff member was warm and caring, as natural and thoughtful as a friend. Before leaving, I also received an unexpected magpie box of eggs, simple but warm, and I felt like going home in an instant. Such care is worth coming again many times. Highly recommended to friends who want to escape the city and relax!

This is a place where we intentionally come for. Since my husband was so fond of Tang Dynasty related things, he just search anything related to it. Then this Tang inspired hotel catches his eyes. It was located a bit far from the city proper, we came along from Shanghai straight to Changxing through high speed train then ride Didi to this Changxing Datang Gong Cha Vipusea Hotel （长兴大唐恒力酒店）, located near mountainside, due to its location in Gong Cha - the famous tea plantation. Just at the back of this hotel there's a well-known area called as Datang Shi Er Fang (大唐十二坊）and the Changxing Da Tang GongCha Tea Museum. This hotel itself has a lot of room styles. At first we book for the Guipu Courtyard Family Suite, just to see the interior, the design is intended for a family with small kids, there's a separation tatami area where you can relax, watch TV, and a small Teepee for kids to explore. For our 2nd day, we try for their Guipu Garden View Double bedroom, the room a bit smaller but already good enough for 2 persons. During our stay, we were assisted by 小宋。He was so helpful all through out during the 3 days 2 nights. The restaurant staffs are all very well rounded. Overall this hotel is worth visiting.

Booked this Jielu Mountain Inn in early spring to relax. The public area is decorated with a festive atmosphere. The boss is always smiling and the service is impeccable. The overall layout of the homestay is also very design-oriented and very suitable for company team building and playing small games. It is worth mentioning that I was very satisfied with the food I booked this time. I originally only booked lunch and went to try the surrounding area in the evening. As a result, the two restaurants I found were not as delicious as the one in the store. I decisively booked lunch for the next day. It is a 2-minute walk from Chengshangou Scenic Area. Just turn right when you go out. The hotel is very distinctive. You can see the mountain view as soon as you open the curtains, and your mood will be immediately improved. It's a pity that the peach blossoms and azaleas withered at the end of April, otherwise the scenery would be more beautiful. There is a huge peach tree in the lobby, which is very iconic. The entrance and hand soap in the room are all permeated with the concept of peach blossoms, which were discovered by the children. The family suite on the third floor is very popular with children. There is a double-layer children's room, plus two adult beds, so even if you bring three children, you can sleep. The bathroom is very spacious, and the toilet and wash mirror can be selected. There are children's slippers and children's toothbrushes and toothpaste. Breakfast is in another building. There are both Chinese and Western cold and warm meals, freshly cooked wonton noodles, and French fries and popcorn, which are very suitable for children. We bought a scenic spot package at the front desk, which allows us to enter and exit the scenic spot repeatedly. We were tired in the morning, so we went back to the hotel to rest and eat at noon. The breakfast restaurant is next to the farmhouse, which feels connected to the scenic spot. Across the road is a barbecue and a coffee bar facing the lake. This hotel is very convenient. After lunch, we went to visit the scenic spot again in the afternoon. The cloud drifting and polar slide are really worth visiting repeatedly. Adults and children feel excited. Highly recommended. This is the cheapest hotel in Changxing to accept foreigner guest. The room is clean and have a lot of facilities. The host is very friendly. Please note that she doesn't speak English. There are many food options downstairs.

Location & Transportation: This hotel is ideal for those traveling by car. The owner has essentially taken over an entire mountain, from the lake at the bottom to the tea house at the top, with fruit orchards and vegetable gardens in between. You can pick different fruits depending on the season. Hygiene: Very clean! Not a single strand of hair in the lobby. The cleaning staff starts early in the morning and is still tidying up past 11 PM, even meticulously cleaning each window. Breakfast: I had read reviews saying the breakfast had limited options, but this time, there were so many varieties! Plus, the stir-fried dishes changed daily. Perhaps because they're farm-to-table, all the vegetables were incredibly delicious and sweet! They also had pickled vegetables and bamboo shoot noodles, just like childhood. Service: All the staff greet you warmly; it feels more like a family-run hotel. If you're comparing it to a five-star hotel, you might find some differences, but the staff, especially the young ladies, remember your face. If you forget your key card and go to the front desk, they'll know your room number just by looking at you. A special shout-out to the young lady with an oval face and ponytail; she walked us to the door when we left and invited us back when the 'fried' season (likely a local delicacy or fruit) starts in August. Restaurant: The restaurant food is excellent! The ingredients are incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the fish head and tofu soup; it has absolutely no fishy taste! And the prices are very reasonable. Room Facilities: Since we stayed in a basic room type this time, the room wasn't huge, but the massive floor-to-ceiling windows offered a very expansive view. The only drawback is that the mountain opposite is a coal mine, which slightly affects the scenery. When visiting Zhejiang and Shanghai, a staycation is an unmissable travel experience. This time, I chose the Laiye Twelve Beasts Designer Homestay in Heping Town, Wuxing District, Huzhou. The entire homestay is nestled among tea gardens surrounded by mountains, with a strong sense of design. There are 12 rooms on 3 floors, each named after a Chinese zodiac animal. Each room has a different style, with some offering tranquil views of vegetation by the window and others offering views of green tea mountains. Each room has its own unique charm. This time, my family and I experienced the rat, sheep, ox, and dog staycations. Each staycation gave me a different feeling. The homestay's own sika deer was the children's favorite, and there was also a silver shaded dog named Zongzi that was very friendly to the guests.
