The entire building belongs to Mercure, which ensures easy access to services. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were very beautiful and incredibly enthusiastic. The cleaning auntie was also very warm and helpful; she even brought my washed clothes up to my room, which was a really thoughtful touch. Overall, a fantastic travel experience!"

Getting around and finding restaurants and shopping nearby is a breeze – no need to worry about directions at all. Even more surprising was the service, especially from Aunt Yang, who was a true angel on my trip! She was incredibly friendly during check-in and even proactively upgraded my room for free. The room was spacious, clean, and fully equipped. When I was a bit rushed at check-out, Aunt Yang thoughtfully helped me arrange a late check-out, relieving my worries. From check-in to departure, every detail made me feel warm and at ease. This kind of thoughtful, ”going the extra mile” service is truly rare. "The hotel is conveniently located to the west of Lanzhou, and you can get there quickly by taking a taxi. The service staff are very kind and nice. The river view room in the hotel can see the beautiful Lanzhou! The hotel is mainly on the 13th to 15th floors. The downstairs is now a maternal and infant confinement center. There is only one shared elevator, so if you are in a hurry, remember to reserve more time to go up and downstairs. The only flaw is probably that the smell of smoke in the room was very strong and it took 2 days to barely dissipate. It is not friendly to guests who are sensitive to the smell of smoke🥲"

The first female employee who assisted me during check-in was extremely unprofessional, lacked communication skills, and had a perfunctory attitude. I had to wait over ten minutes for check-in without being proactively informed or having any reasonable arrangements made. When I asked about the waiting time, her response was curt. I tried to have my family wait in the hotel's lounge area but was told it wasn't allowed, causing us to go back and forth. There was no thoughtful guidance throughout, which was very frustrating and made for a terrible experience. Fortunately, a different front desk staff member took over. They were enthusiastic, professional, and patient, communicating smoothly and efficiently completing our check-in with a thoughtful touch, which helped restore some of my positive feelings. In summary: The hotel's hardware, dining, amenities, and environment are all impeccable and highly recommended. The only downside is that some front desk staff have a weak service意识 (service awareness), are unskilled, and lack communication, leading to inconsistent service levels. I hope the hotel can strengthen professional training and service management for its front desk staff to standardize service and prevent such poor reception issues from recurring."
