"The hotel location and landscape is top notch for this region. Kids friendly - the indoor playground was amazing! We enjoyed the great service from the staff, especially Ms Xiang, who was very warm hearted and helpful.
Can not expect the hotel to be a real 5-star compared to the well developed tourism places, some areas of improvement: many people still smoke inside the facilities - including the public hot spring area, swimming pool, even the hotel lobby. Some of the facilities inside the room are not well maintained - be sure to check them and request for fix or change the room if needed. But for this area, I’d highly recommend this hotel for family stay and a very relaxing experience at a reasonable price."

It is recommended for those traveling with children. It is near Tiantangzhai Scenic Area, 8-10 minutes' walk away. The B&B is very clean, has a children's toy room, is very quiet and has convenient parking. Living in a scenic area is not necessarily convenient! Because we still have to open the mountain road!
⭐About food: Breakfast is provided by the B&B, it is a home-cooked meal, very rich and nutritious. It’s also suitable for babies! On the day of our lunch hike, we made do with the food in our backpacks. We stayed for two nights. We ate at this B&B that night, the night of the second day when we went down the mountain, and at noon on the third day when we returned. The food cooked by the owner's mother was very clean and suited the taste of many people! There are also foods for babies. For adults, we recommend hanging pot chicken and roast pork with wild bamboo shoots! So delicious, we ordered it twice. The baby eats potatoes with shredded pork, scrambled eggs, and soups. In summary, if you go to Huoshan specifically, the best people take their dogs to Huoshan, this homestay is worth having. The owner and chef were incredibly kind and proactively upgraded us to a suite, which was a generous size and equipped with smart technology. When it wasn't busy, the front desk lady would prepare American-style meals. Lunch was prepared by the kitchen lady, whose meat and vegetables were all local (some grown on site). She's a winner of the Lu'an Chef Competition, and every dish was delicious! The three delicious dishes of black pork and beef are a must-try! Three large pots with three vegetables, plus rice and leek broth, cost less than 400 yuan. Breakfast was also simple and delicious, made in the kitchen. 😄
This area has been thriving thanks to tourism, so the roads and hotel facilities are excellent. It's right next to the hot spring town, surrounded by mountains, and you can see the morning mist.
It's definitely worth a visit.
