"Rooms was spacious and clean. The hotel is very clise to the mid size mall.with supermarket and decent restaurants spread. The breakfast was so so though, nothing to shout about. The lady manning the egg station (the one handling the on demand egg request) was a bit slow and dont remember the guests' orders, nor the faces. It created chaostic situation where the order will be passed to the person stabding there waitjng instead of by order sequence. Will be best if the hotel just put up a numbering system or get the guess table for delivery. At least the other lady handling the omellete was quite fast so the it reduced the guest's frustation."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Ibis Malang, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is impeccably clean, with every corner spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always greeting me with warm smiles and going out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect. Their professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. "Should be better off being marketed as a 3 Star hotel instead of 4. Checking-in was a breeze, but they do not bother helping with moving luggages. The doorman would just look at you. The room was big. The corridor isn’t carpeted, so you can hear doors slamming and people talking outside your room rather clearly. They do have comfortable bed and pillows though. There was no safety deposit box in my room. Called housekeeping, and a chap brought in the metal box... while hugging it. The box was light. He just placed it on a shelf, and walked away. I mean, what's the use of having a light, moveable safe? It's okay. 3 stars hotel experience. Was told that the hotel doesn’t provide iron and ironing board and guests can use their ironing service for a fee of course instead. Reminds me of some budget hotel stay instead of any other normal 4 stars hotels. The cleanliness was abysmal, honestly showering in public would be a better choice. I could not walk around inside there barefooted. The shower floor was slimy, with mould growing on the walls. It was unacceptable for being rated as a 4 star hotel. Service was good though. Everyone seems eager to please. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent as it's connected to a mall. Amenities wise just needs more sprucing up. Alright stay but for the price, there are other alternatives that can provide better."

"This was my first time taking my infant on a road trip, and we chose Grand Mercure Malang based on its strong reputation and positive reviews. I'm happy to say that the experience lived up to expectations. The room we stayed in was clean and offered a spectacular mountain view. Upon arrival, we were initially assigned a room that was still being cleaned, but the hotel staff quickly realized the mistake and rectified it promptly. We also requested a baby crib, which was delivered shortly after without any issues. The bathroom was well-stocked with amenity kits, and there were plenty of clothes hangers available. The shower pressure was strong and very comfortable. I made use of the gym and swimming pool during our stay. The gym was well-equipped with a squat rack, a full set of dumbbells, a cable machine, and two benches. The swimming pool was pleasantly warm, which made for an enjoyable experience. Our room included breakfast, and there was a wide variety of food options available. The service throughout was kind and respectful. I would say the barista at the coffee counter could benefit from more training to improve their cappuccino-making skills, but it was still acceptable. I will definitely return to this hotel for future stays. I've also included some photos to help others considering booking here. Thanks again to the Mercure Malang team for a great stay!"

"Your hotel is comfortable . Breakfast was good and have variety choices. The service in the front desk and restaurant are both good too, especially during breakfast the waitress are friendly and ready to help. During my Check in the front desk help pretty quick too. The bus boy took my luggage right away being send to my room. Has free coffee or tea in the lounge is a good thing . The non smoking room is clean and not too small, bathroom facilities is good. The cupboards have many hangers I like that. The price is not too cheap, average price. Overall I enjoyed my stay . I don’t mind recommending to friends."

"Pleasant Stay at HARRIS Hotel Malang I had a very enjoyable experience staying at HARRIS Hotel Malang. The staff were warm and welcoming from the start, and the check-in process was smooth. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable — perfect for a relaxing stay. The pool area was a nice spot to unwind, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and pleasant. It’s also conveniently located, with easy access to the city center and other attractions. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast selection. While the food was okay, the variety was quite limited compared to what I expected from a hotel of this level. Despite that, I still had a great time and would consider staying here again. A nice place to relax while exploring Malang"

"The location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite. The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous. The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room. Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also."

"The place is very strategic, lots of food around, next to it is also Alfa Mart. Suitable for those of you who are backpackers and don't bring a vehicle. If you bring a private vehicle, the parking is not very suitable because it is narrow, few and hot, even though there is a guard at night. Pretty clean with the competitive prices offered by trip.com. For those of you who bring children, the rooms are quite spacious...so the children have space to play."
