"The hotel itself is okay, and its proximity to UB is convenient because my child studies there. However, there are a few areas that need improvement: 1. The bed sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases really need to be replaced. Their colors are quite faded. 2. The elevator access should ideally be separate from the apartment units. I once shared an elevator with a drunk person, which was very unsettling, especially since I was with my children at the time. These are the only points I believe require immediate attention; everything else is manageable."

"We had a wonderful stay at Swiss-Belinn Malang! The hotel was clean, cozy, and very well maintained. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out — they made us feel really welcome. Breakfast had plenty of delicious options, and the location was perfect, close to many local attractions and cafes. The room was comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped, making it easy to relax after a long day exploring the city. We also appreciated the smooth service and warm hospitality throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Malang — great value and great experience overall!"

"Hotel in an excellent location. Literally next to a mall so there’s no chance of getting bored or hungry! Service was amazing, room was spacious Cons- very dated. Toilet seat of so old and worn, curtains had mark. Just needs a bit of love and care"

"Super great hotel. Really clean, nice staff and amazing, I mean amazing, breakfast. The breakfast had so many western and Indonesian options. Even some Chinese options that I was happy to see. They can even make fresh noodles or cook eggs for you. The staff was so accommodating. We went on a three day trip and they let us keep our luggage there for those days. They also helped up to order taxis and figure out how to get train tickets. Next to the hotel is a nice bakery, I enjoyed eating their sweets while drinking some tea provided by the hotel and looking out the window 😊"

"The hotel's location is average for the area; it's a bit far from popular attractions, so you'll need to take a taxi or public transport. The room size is adequate, with enough space to move around comfortably even with luggage. The bedding comfort is just okay; some guests might find it a bit firm. The staff are generally calm and respond promptly when needed, but they lack proactive service. Overall, it has no outstanding advantages but also no significant drawbacks."

"Very good, arrived in Malang at 9... wandered around while waiting for check-in time. ... but tired from culinary tours, finally arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock even though check-in time was still a long way off (2 o'clock).. waiting... finally at 1 o'clock we were allowed to enter because the room was ready Thank you very much Ibish Styles Hotel👍"

"The room was a bit dusty and when you walk in, there's a slight smell. Toilet was ok, service wasn't the best, food was meh but given the price it was really good compared to the others."

"The location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite. The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous. The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room. Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also."

"It was my first visit harris with my family, i book 3 rooms in this accomodation, and all the room is good with a stunning view to the pool and the green area, Also the pool in good condition, my kids very happy after swim can play @playground with the helpfull staff. Thank you harris"
