Mountain View Hotels in Selcuk

"One of the best - if not THE best - hotel experience/s we ever had!!! ❤️ This small and cute hotel is something like a jewel! The one staff we met was adorable and so kind and caring that we felt right at home and even felt sorry that after only one night we had to leave for our next spot to visit! The hotel is gorgeous, the service impeccable, the breakfast!!! OMG!!! Just look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean! The breakfast was a piece of art made with love 💕 But, originally, the hotel is called Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery, because all the sculptures you can see on the pictures were made by the owner - it vibes so well with the whole Ephesus area and it's beautiful ancient buildings, ruins, ... We got a nice upgrade to a bigger room that we could directly leave through a door to the inner courtyard where breakfast was served - super convenient! The courtyard was so peaceful that we felt like hearing ancient whispers coming from all around us... So much history!!! So much to see and having this wonderful hotel as the base to discover from was the best choice we could make! No need to mention that the room was simple but very nice and clean, comfy and big bed, nice lighting, spacey bathroom with very modern standard. Aircon as well, but we preferred to use the big fan on the ceiling instead ... There was a little fridge in the room and the beverages inside were free to take, so we were happy about the water after a hot and sunny day ... ☀️ Also, whenever we were on the way in or out, we were offered coffee, tea, water, juice, fruits ... you can see the fruit plate that we happily enjoyed as a mid-day snack ... If you ever visit Selçuk and Ephesus Ancient Town - and you should because it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - you should definitely book one, or even better two or three days at Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery!!! Btw, it's also in easily walkable distance to the Ephesus Archeological Museum, the İsa Bey Mosque, St. Jean Church, the Ayasuluk Citadel, ... Another great plus was the fact that we could park the car right in front of the hotel. Last but not least, we received a beautiful little gift from the hotel employee who was taking care of us so kindly - she had sculptured the little elephant that you can see on the last picture by herself! A very special gift for us! 🎁 ❤️"

"We were really very happy with a accommodation. The workers loved the laughterful help. Thank you again for guidance and other help. We held the room clean and we took the breakfast free room, yet they offered tea and coffee. As a good location, there is no park problem. The room we held was two single beds, thank you, they unite for us before we came."

"This was our favorite hotel during our trip to Turkey 😊Over the past two days, our overall impression of the hotel has been: peaceful, comfortable, professional, and sincere. The room was tidy, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We arrived at the hotel quite late, and we are especially grateful to the lovely girl at the reception desk who waited for us and greeted us warmly. Since it’s the off-season now, there were very few guests, and it seemed like we were the only ones staying here over the past two days. However, the hotel still provided us with a buffet breakfast and maintained a clean swimming pool, which truly showed their dedication and attention to detail. Thank you to all the staff! "The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right next to the ruins of St. John's Basilica, and the Temple of Artemis ruins are just an 800-meter walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The service was excellent; as soon as we parked, staff proactively came to help with our luggage and brought it all the way up to our third-floor room. The breakfast was a delightful surprise, offering a wonderful mix of flavors, colors, and aromas. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking, you can park along the road next to it. I also noticed that the visitor parking lot for St. John's Basilica seemed available for overnight parking, as it was mostly empty in the evenings. The drinks in the mini-bar were also reasonably priced. If we ever return to Selçuk, this hotel would be our top choice."

"It's right from Selchuk station, so you won't get lost, and the bus to Ephesus is nearby and the location is great. There were many restaurants and supermarkets around. There is no elevator, but the staff helped me carry it. Do you have a family? It was very kind. ３ The room was small because I stayed with people. The couple who run the business are very welcoming and have a wide range of businesses, including a guesthouse, a restaurant, and a handmade blanket shop. "Breakfast is a local Turkish breakfast and the Chinese may not be used to it. The picture shows a large flat with 50 floor-to-ceiling windows. The landscape is a panoramic town under the mountain. "The holiday price is more serious. The hotel location is not very close to the ancient city of Ephesus. The 240 meters given on Trip.com is even more nonsense. According to this 240 meters, you can't reach the ancient city of Ephesus. You still need to take a long way to the station to take the minibus. I personally suggest that it is best to live directly in Izmir. In the morning, you can take the train or take the minibus to Ephesus in Izmir. In the evening, you can also take the minibus or train back. The minibus is very convenient to leave the water. Izmir has a standardized hotel like Marriott and Renaissance, which is much more comfortable than living here. In addition, the hotels in Selcuk are basically changed from their own houses. The religious color is relatively heavy. The living is a bit strange. The road is not very good. There are many uphill and downhill. There are many stone roads. It is particularly tired to walk. You can occasionally see a taxi on the road. It is very inconvenient for people with luggage."

"The location is amazing! You can walk to St. John's Church and the city walls, and it takes 10 minutes to get to the station. There are plenty of shops, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat. There is also a supermarket just 200-300 meters away. The room didn't have a view, but it was spacious and there was a small terrace. There was a closet, a refrigerator, cups, an electric kettle, and a hair dryer. The room was full of space with four beds, so there was no table in the room, but we could use the table and chairs on the terrace. There is a corridor, so there is plenty of space to spread out your suitcase. There is a small shelf by the bed, and plenty of outlets. There is no dedicated parking lot, but you can park right in front of the building, so it's not a problem. It's a bit of a slope, but because it's on top of a slope, the view is great. This time, I was on a budget for a room without a view, but if I have the opportunity again, I would like to stay in a room with a better view. "This hotel is actually a homestay with four rooms. Breakfast is OK, fried eggs, bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc., can be full, basic nutrition. The hotel's transportation is also convenient, and it takes ten minutes to walk from the train station. It is only 10 minutes walk to the bus station and convenient to the surrounding attractions. The hotel is clean and quiet at night."
