Hotels in Hauptbahnhof, Munich

Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are somewhat dated. However, it has all the essentials, and the room size is excellent for its size compared to other European hotels. Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean, but there was a slight odor typical of older hotels. Location: The location is absolutely superb! Just a short walk from Munich's main railway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The city center is also within walking distance!

This hotel is super conveniently located right near the main train station, making it easy to get around. They offer free luggage storage, which is a big plus. The room was clean and well-equipped, with complimentary bottled water and even a capsule coffee machine. The lobby was a nice touch too, providing guests with lemon water, grapefruit water, candies, cookies, and green apples. Plus, there's a DM pharmacy and a supermarket right next door. Highly recommend!

It is a comfortable place to stay, super convenient to go to Munich Central Station snd all the attractions. The reception is friendly and helpful, I will book again if I go to Munich

This hotel is super close to the main train station, literally right across the street. No worries about the unpredictable weather at all. The room is spacious, and the bed and vanity area are well-separated, so they don't interfere with each other. The bed is large and the bedding is comfortable. Walking to the airport shuttle bus from the main station takes about 10 minutes. You can also catch the airport train from the underground platforms at the main station.

I stayed for 2 nights. My single room had clearly recently been renovated to a good standard. The hotel was not doing evening meals as the restaurant is being renovated but I had great beer and Pork knuckle in a restaurant directly across the road (very good). Also many international restaurants very close by. I walked there from the main Railway Station in less than 10 minutes.

The front desk staff were quite unwelcoming. At one point, it felt like I was being ignored, as they seemed to avoid acknowledging me when I approached. There was also an issue with a missing extra bed in the room upon arrival. However, I appreciate that this was resolved quickly once I brought it to their attention. Another concern was with housekeeping. They entered the room at around 9:00 AM while I was still inside, which was uncomfortable and felt like a lack of privacy. The best thing is very close to the train station.

An excellent hotel with a superb location! We took the Lufthansa Express bus from Terminal 2, which I highly recommend. It stops right at the hotel entrance, saving us the hassle of lugging luggage from the train station. Plus, the subway is right next door. The breakfast was very clean and tasty; although the variety wasn't extensive, it had most of the items you'd expect from a Western buffet. The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the German guests weren't as aloof as I'd heard; everyone was quite friendly and helpful. At breakfast, when I had trouble lifting the lids for food, they kindly offered to help, which was lovely. The room was a bit small and lacked amenities like slippers, tissues, a kettle, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, so it's best to come prepared. However, there's a supermarket right next door, making it easy to buy any daily necessities.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The only downside was the hotel amenities are old and could not cope with the heat wave hitting Europe during our stay. The 1st room assigned to us, it's Aircon couldn't work. But hotel was able to immediate change us to another room. On last day of our stay, that room's aircon also broke down. The hotel brought in a fan to help us deal with the heat.

The room and facilities were still excellent! However, one of the front desk staff was very unfriendly and treated me coldly and ignored. I always maintain politeness and greet the front desk staff if they are not busy. Have there been any other Asian guests who have behaved badly recently?

The hotel is just 5 mins away from the central station, very convenient but only there were some gangs that need to be careful of. 15 mins walk to the old town. Staff is super nice, especially the night-shift receptionist who offered us some tips for sightseeing! Haven't got the chance to enjoy the breakfast but they provided complimentary coffee and tea, which were far enough to begin the day.
