Bedruthan Hotel & Spa ★★★★

📍 Bedruthan Hotel and Spa Trenance, Mawgan Porth, Mawgan-in-Pydar

"I stayed in a sea view room with a great view from the window. The hotel is in a good location, with many attractions nearby and close to the beach. But you have to drive yourself, otherwise you can't go anywhere. The staff is very friendly, but sometimes they forget to clean. The hotel said that you can hang a do not disturb sign when you don't need to clean. But in fact, they won't come to clean unless you hang a please clean sign. In addition, although breakfast is included, it is only cold (Continental). Hot breakfast costs an additional 6 pounds per person per day."

Premier Inn Newquay (Quintrell Downs) ★★★

"Greeted by untended/overgrown entrance and thread bare carpet, so not a good start, room had a strong air freshener scent which by second morning was changing to a distinct drain odour, staff stretched to cope and had my late running meal come out with 2 courses together, again not very professional- also had item put through without authorisation- so not the best from PI."

Bedruthan Hotel & Spa ★★★★

"amazing room overlooking the beach staff were very friendly and knowledgeable very clean hotel breakfast was great - however beware that the included breakfast only includes continental cold breakfast - if you want hot its an extra £6 A bit much considering the price of the room - just include the hot breakfast!!! check in was a pain - we got there early to use the facilities but couldn't get our room until 4pm - huge que of people checking in at this time"

Atlantic Hotel Newquay ★★★★

"I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is beautifully located with great views and elegant interiors. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good – fresh ingredients, tasty full English options and nicely presented dishes. The avocado toast and classic breakfast plate were both excellent. Service was friendly and professional throughout my stay. The restaurant area was clean and well-organised. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I’m happy to recommend this place and would stay here again."

THE NICI Newquay

"Booked in for a couples spa day at Newquay. The places looked amazing but is unfinished. The spa treatment was wonderful but the jacuzzi and steam room were out of action. The wait and quality of food was not good and after speaking to the manager who promised to investigate and get back to me by the end of the day …I heard no more. I believe this will be a great place to visit in 3 months time but I would avoid it until it gets its act together."

The Harbour ★★★★

"Six of us had an evening dinner at the restaurant. Excellent food, as expected, at a full price. We found the service a little awkward at times which spoiled the overall experience. However, good for a treat.... the wine list was comprehensive and we were very relaxed!"
