"The quaint rooms are situated behind a lovely old historic building. Check in and out was contactless but a chalkboard with a welcome message was a nice personal touch. There was also some chocolates and a bottle of red wine to welcome us into our room. The only heating was a small electric heater which took the edge off but if you feel the cold as I do, it wasn’t quite enough. The bathroom in particular was freezing. Once in bed with the electric blanket though, it was nice and cosy."

"Room was not ready at the booked time of 2pm. We understand and appreciate it was a long weekend but no one advised the room wouldn't be ready so we were waiting around wasting time and changing plans. Secondly, the TV didn't work. At all. Not even free to air TV. Thirdly, extremly inadequate bedding. It was freezing and the doona/sheets on bed no where near enough. Blankets in cupboard very thin. Luckily I had a sleeping bag in the ute we could use. Heater old and didn't do much either. Contact method to motel very frustrating. Office hours stated phones manned 10-4. Multiple times we rang and no answer. Ended up pressing the emergency "8" option to get someone. Disappointing not getting what paid for."
