"All photos are of the actual locations. The stay was excellent, and the location was accurate. There were a few dogs, but no worries there; only one was a bit mischievous, while the others just lay around watching, haha. Despite the language barrier, check-in went smoothly. The family was very welcoming, and the place was quiet with fewer people – so quiet you could only hear the animals. It's definitely worth staying in Pai; a relaxing place, very relaxing and enjoyable."

"I stayed here for a few nights in November 2025. It is a family run business and the mother of the owner is normally the one that takes care of the place. It is located in the countryside and you can expect to see and hear chickens and other animals. While the cottages are a walkable distance (2km) from the town, you are much better off renting a scooter if staying here. The cottages are quaint, but not the best construction. You can see many places where the concrete walls are cracking. Also, sometimes the doors don't closes correctly, but overall, I found the place to be comfortable. The TV in the rooms is quite small and old, but they do have an HDMI port to use a fire stick with. The water pressure is good and the hot water heater works. The bathroom is small and everything is contained in one area so you will get the toilet and everything wet when showering. You can see a walk through review I did on youtube."

"Great place if you want a quiet and calm environment. It's located around 20 minutes outside the walking street. It's a nice stroll in the morning but in the evening you would need to book a taxi/motorbike since it gets quite dark. The staffs were very nice and friendly. The room is small and cute and has a nice seating area where I liked to have my dinner at night and read my book. There are dogs in the area - they are really cute and friendly too but don't let them inside since they can get too excited and naughty. It's a great place for the price you pay!"

"The center of Walking Street, where there are bus stops and several travel agencies. The location is a strength as it is a 5-6 minute walk away. There is also a hospital with an emergency room right behind it. The facilities have a somewhat old-fashioned feel, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage. Amenities are weak. The room is spacious for the price and each room is well separated. It would be good for those who value privacy. More than anything, I remember the friendly staff. Even if I find Pai again. This is a hotel I will consider again."

"It was an amazing experience if you are looking to stay somewhere wild. It wouldn’t be great for anyone who doesn’t like nature or is scared of animals, but if that’s your thing, it’s perfect. The place is as tidy and clean as it can be inside of a clay house. The owner is really nice and helpful and the location is the most serene you will ever be. It kind of feels like you’re living in the jungle. It’s beautiful, you hear geckos, you might see a snake, there are cats meowing outside . It’s really peaceful, you can chill in the hammock all day but it’s also a walk away from town. And there is HOT water, which always feels like a luxury in these kind of places."

"We checked in for two nights at Pai Friendly Resort, a family operated resort, about a 15-minute walk to the Pai Walking Street. A small boutique hideaway with basic amenities - kettle and hair dryer. The room was clean and cosy, and the swimming pool offered a refreshing dip during hotter days."

"Good hotel, clean room, green area. We liked it, the truth has a few features. From the main walk street and the center of a kilometer, you can walk on foot but better on a motorbike. The most uncomfortable thing is that you need to settle on the phone, as the bar is most of the time no one. We had a local number only with the Internet, could not call, but one local person helped by calling from his phone. So I would advise the owners of the gesta to set up telegram accounts, wattsap, etc. so that it is possible to connect through the Internet."
