The owners and their parents at this guesthouse were incredibly kind. They not only provided us with a room, but also went out of their way to take care of everything for us; I felt so embarrassed! The environment was lovely, and there were plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. We even went to the market to buy seafood, and they prepared tableware and a table for us, and even started a fire to steam the seafood for us. They also had homegrown fruits and vegetables in the backyard for us to eat, and they even gave my child popsicles. The guesthouse also had kittens; the owner's mother is very kind and feeds stray cats, adopting those abandoned by others. Having kittens added so much joy for my child. The price is only justified by the incredible view!!! The mattress and bedding are average, and the quality of the bathroom fixtures is completely disproportionate to the price. The bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, and the drain isn't working properly. It's extremely inconvenient for others to use the restroom after one person showers, and they can easily slip. The room also lacks privacy; everyone taking photos would come over to take a look, ruining the experience. The TV is small, and there's a time limit for screen projection if you're not a member. But the view is absolutely amazing! The hotel offers a 20% discount on the food and beverage outlets for guests, and the breakfast is good.

The views of Yuan Lake are fantastic, and you can even spot the high-speed train. My partner and I were very impressed with the Chinese restaurant's dishes. The 'Old Chef Cabbage' brought back childhood memories of home-cooked meals, and the 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork) was quite authentic, though the batter was a bit thick. The sour radish and tripe dish was a great appetizer. The only minor drawback was that during the May Day holiday, there were a lot of families with children. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the kids upstairs were running and jumping until past 10 PM. Plus, there was a persistent metallic noise coming from the ceiling.

The water was about to flow into the next room. I contacted the boss in time to deal with it. Later the boss explained that the cleaning staff was a man who was very careless and hoped that the hygiene could be improved. He wanted to relax when traveling.
