"The location is excellent, right in Hanlefang, with a lively atmosphere downstairs. It's very convenient for dining, strolling, and shopping in the evening. It's also close to the train and bus stations. It's a bit of a distance from Torch Eight Street, about a 30-minute taxi ride. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is also quiet at night. However, there are a few rather unique aspects: 1. There's a turnstile between the lobby and the elevators that requires a room card swipe. While swiping a room card for the elevator is common, having an additional turnstile like an office building is unusual and overly cumbersome. 2. The room layout is very unique; you have to 'search' for the toilet, shower, walk-in closet, and toiletries, as they are not immediately obvious. The closet door, when pulled out, directly blocks the entrance door. 3. A deposit is required upon check-in, though the refund process is quick. 4. For luggage storage, you need to scan a QR code yourself. It's free for up to 6 hours, and even if you exceed that, the front desk can still arrange free storage. 5. I stayed for two consecutive nights on two separate bookings. Even though I had called the night before to confirm a continuous stay without room cleaning or changes, the next day I couldn't open my door upstairs and had to go back to the front desk on the first floor to swipe my card again. I've had similar situations in Yantai where I could smoothly use my card for continuous check-in without this double process. Overall, the staff were very helpful, and they promptly contacted me when I left an item behind, which I greatly appreciated. However, the overall check-in experience felt less than user-friendly, with various cumbersome procedures. I'm not sure if this management style is typical for hotels in Weihai or just this particular one. It's not necessarily bad, just very different – I haven't encountered these specific situations anywhere else in the country."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to Xingfumen and Weigao Square, and very close to the beach. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and food delivery is also very convenient, with quick deliveries by service robots. The hotel breakfast is rich and delicious, with good quality dishes. Housekeeping cleans the room daily and promptly, ensuring it's tidy and clean, and the mini-bar drinks are refilled on time. At 9:30 PM, the restaurant even offers complimentary 'goodnight porridge,' which is a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the room I stayed in this time was on a lower floor, and the view outside wasn't great. However, the hotel's soundproofing was quite good, which was a plus."

Our oceanfront room had incredible, unobstructed views of the sunset. Torch Eight Street is also nearby, less than a 10-minute walk away. The room was clean and hygienic, and the mattress was comfortable. The location is downtown, very close to the beach and popular tourist spots. Dining and shopping options nearby are also convenient. The hotel has a small kids' play area on the eighth floor, which kept the little ones happy. Breakfast offered a good variety, and when we checked out, the staff even packed some bread and fruit for the children. The bellboy helped us carry our luggage to the car upon departure, making us feel truly at home. Highly recommended overall."

"I wanted to visit Guanhai Suji last year, but unfortunately, my schedule didn't allow it! This year, I finally made it! It's super, super close to the beach! The location is fantastic! Torch Eight Street and Xiaoshi Island are both nearby! It's practically in the center of everything! I spent three days and two nights here, just relaxing, and it was absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself is also very photogenic for check-ins! I highly recommend going to Yuanyao Pier for the beach – it's less crowded and more comfortable there! The sunset there is stunning for photos! I also recommend a travel photographer, ***********! They were amazing! They even gave me all the raw files!"

The hotel is a bit older, so the facilities are dated and the decor is from an earlier era; the water pressure in the bathroom is also a bit low. "The rooms are located within a residential complex, but the entire 18th floor belongs to this hotel, and they also have rooms in other buildings. Even though they're not all in one building, the quality of the rooms is exceptionally high. We stayed in a prime sea-view room, and it was impeccably clean. The bedding and mattress were also very comfortable to sleep on. I felt very at ease bringing my family and children here. The service was also spot on; customer service was always responsive, and the owner even recommended a lot of travel tips. "The hotel's location right next to Kowloon City Mall is super convenient for shopping and dining. You can even access the mall's food court and shops directly from the hotel's fifth-floor fire exit. Plus, there's a taxi stand right at the mall's ground floor entrance, making transportation in and out a breeze. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff are young, energetic, and very friendly. They proactively offered us water, and a hotel attendant helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room – excellent service all around. Security is top-notch. You need to swipe your room card to use the elevator, which provides a high sense of safety. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the restaurant's dining environment is elegant with a great atmosphere. There are even chefs on-site preparing fresh noodles and omelets – very attentive service. The hotel parking is located on the ground floor plaza and is free of charge. If you're driving, it's easier to enter the hotel from Linhai Road, especially when unloading luggage. The room was very clean and bright. The bathroom features a spacious wet/dry separation and the facilities are very new. Mineral water is amply supplied. The cleaning staff are diligent, friendly, and very courteous. Every staff member we encountered in the hotel had a smile on their face and greeted us warmly. What sets this hotel's staff apart is their professionalism and thoughtfulness. They were able to immediately and effectively address any issues we raised. It's a highly recommended hotel, and if I ever return to Weihai, I would definitely choose to stay here again."
