"This stay was absolutely fantastic, five stars for sure! The hotel's location is truly unbeatable – right next to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. It's also just a short walk to Dounan Flower Market, so browsing and buying flowers is super easy. It's the perfect spot for tourists. Parking at the hotel was a breeze, with plenty of spaces available, so if you're driving, you won't have to worry about finding a spot. The room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was excellent. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details, like the disposable facial towels and bath towels – so hygienic and convenient, meaning I didn't need to bring my own toiletries, which lightened my luggage considerably. The hotel environment was quiet and comfortable, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, friendly, and patient. Overall, the value for money is excellent. It's a great choice whether you're visiting the flower market or on a short trip. "This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is easy to find, and parking is convenient. The room was larger than expected, and the minimalist decor was perfect for photos. Most importantly, the cleanliness was impeccable; as someone who's particular about hygiene, I was extremely satisfied and have to give it a great review! Usually, I'm quite picky about hotel cleanliness, but this time I couldn't find a single flaw. You could tell the sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed, and there were no water stains or hair in the bathroom corners. The room had excellent soundproofing, and the blackout curtains were superb, allowing me to sleep until I woke up naturally. You can really feel the owner's dedication. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, full marks for efficiency. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

They thoughtfully prepared cutlery and a high chair for our child, making it perfect for family travel. Every time we saw a staff member, they would smile and greet us, actively offering assistance. Upon checkout, they even gave us black tea as a souvenir and two roly-poly toys. It was a superb stay! (I forgot to take photos of the hotel, but it's super close to Jinma Fang, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. Highly recommend it!)"

"We loved it here! The location is excellent, it's clean, and the facilities are complete. Although the reception staff didn't speak English, it wasn't a problem because we could easily communicate via WeChat, and they took great care of me. The bathroom has separate shower and toilet areas, and importantly, a bidet (though the pressure wasn't very strong, it was better than many hotels that don't have one). They also provide bottled water, and you can ask for more. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, if I have the opportunity to return to Kunming, I would definitely choose to stay here again and would happily recommend it to others. There might be a slight cigarette smell for those with a sensitive nose, but it's not noticeable for those who aren't bothered by it. The lighting in the room is beautiful, making for great photos."

"Ami's Home is hands down the warmest and most thoughtful B&B I've ever stayed at in all my years of traveling. First off, the accommodation is absolutely superb – not a single strange smell in the room, just impeccably clean with a charming vintage vibe. Secondly, its location is fantastic, nestled near Nanping Street, Taipei Street, and the Old Street, all within easy walking distance. Even Cuihu Lake isn't too far. And those two handsome guys at the front desk? Incredibly welcoming and helpful; they can solve any problem you throw at them. Seriously, for accommodation, you can't go wrong with this place. Plus, there's a delicious bakery called Xiye right downstairs, and a fantastic Yunnan specialty restaurant. Step out, and you're right by a night market with tons of other amazing food options!"

CChasel yijieLet's start with the location: It's absolutely superb. Facing Cuihu Lake, the main entrance opens onto the relatively quiet Qingyun Street. After passing through the check-in lobby and restaurant, you can directly access another entrance facing Cuihu Lake. This entrance is not far from both the North and East Gates of Cuihu Lake. With this location, honestly, nothing else really matters. Next, the room: I originally booked a deluxe king room for two consecutive nights because my child loves to bathe, and the room had a scenic bathtub and a scenic toilet [dog emoji]. However, that evening, I noticed a strange smell in the bathroom. After reporting it, the front desk moved us to another room, upgrading us to an executive suite. The overall response and solution were good. Some minor suggestions: The hotel's standardization could be improved (the hardware varies significantly across different room types). During busy times, the front desk seemed understaffed. It was just shy of being perfectly satisfactory, but the location truly makes up for everything else.

QQuanshuidingdingdongI wanted to stay two nights in a row, so I booked a voucher through Trip.com for May 13th. On May 14th, the website showed the date as unavailable. I asked Trip.com customer service to contact the hotel, and they said the hotel staff had left for the day and would respond the next morning. The next day, I received a message early in the morning saying it wasn't possible. Trip.com customer service didn't even get back to me. So, we immediately contacted the reservations department at InterContinental Kunming ourselves. The staff member was incredibly patient and checked the hotel's backend data, telling us that while king rooms weren't available, twin rooms could be booked. I'm so grateful! Choosing InterContinental Kunming for this trip was such great value for money, and the front desk even upgraded us to a balcony room. The hotel environment is elegant, and it's convenient to get to Haigeng Dam, though the hotel itself is quite large. All the hotel staff, from the concierge to the cleaning aunties, were warm and attentive in their service. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel, and the food was absolutely delicious!

Although it's an older establishment, the overall quality is still decent, and the location is convenient for feeding seagulls. The hotel even provides bread for feeding them. The toiletries have always been high quality. Since I was traveling with a child, the housekeeping staff proactively asked if we needed more bottled water, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but the food tastes good. The rice noodles are particularly delicious. I forgot something in the room when checking out, and the hotel called to remind me and then helped mail it back. Thank you.

MMunanxiziA wonderful hideaway for a hot spring getaway. The private courtyard comes with its own hot tub, or you can switch things up and use the public pools. In the evenings, you can catch a stunning sunset, and the Ancient Dian Kingdom Museum is right across the way. The villa's amenities are top-notch, and it's very clean, even including a private sauna. There weren't any bugs this season, which made it a super comfortable and relaxing spot for a few friends to unwind. The breakfast and dinner at the mountaintop restaurant are both excellent, and they do Western dishes really well too!

FFirman LOne thing I like about this hotel is that it is not crowded with people, front desk is very responsive and they try their utmost best to please their guests. Had a restful sleep and pleased that I was able to get hot showers. Didn't try their breakfast at their level 9 restaurant as they mentioned only certain days they have halal breakfast. No in room fridge but there are convenience stores nearby, at night there are fruit sellers along the road. There is a hospital nearby and a police post. Pharmacy nearby and quite please with the area. Even though there are No Smoking Signs, other guest do smoke in the hotel. And low season means there are fewer guest so, lesser smokers there, which I am happy about. They have self service laundry room with one washer and a separate dryer. Quite happy with that too. Thank you front desk ladies for your service and for the breakfast packs given to us for our departure to the airport. Apologies for not able to take the airport transfer due to my Mother in Law's knees. Hope to see you all soon!
