"I stayed for two nights at this unique hotel right in the pedestrian street. It has an old tea house aesthetic, like a renovated old mansion, quiet and elegant. The winter sun streamed brightly onto the room's entrance, almost dazzling, and the courtyard's greenery was also very well maintained. You can choose your breakfast; the 'Crossing the Bridge' noodles here are even better than those at Jianxinyuan, the old renowned shop on Kunming Old Street. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"This hotel offers a fantastic stay and great value for money. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the environment was kept very clean—plus, the free-to-use washing machine was a huge convenience.
The service was exceptional: staff called me before I arrived to offer a shuttle from the train station. Since my train was arriving sooner than they could get there, they kindly instructed me to take a taxi and fully reimbursed the fare upon my arrival. They also provided a complimentary drop-off back to the station when I checked out. Both the front desk and cleaning staff were incredibly polite. Highly recommended!"

"The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They even had kids' slippers and welcome fruit for my two little ones, which was so heartwarming. She also helped with our luggage, gave me a travel map for Kunming, and provided all-around excellent service. Thumbs up, indeed! The hot springs were also very comfortable, and they even provided food to feed the seagulls. The next day, my kids were asleep, so they let us check out late free of charge, and even offered a room upgrade. Staying here with elderly family and children was truly stress-free ❤️. I even added them on WeChat; I'll definitely stay here again next time! 🫰🏻 (I've never reviewed a place this thoroughly before, haha!)"

"The room was spotless and tidy. The front desk staff and servers were all very nice, and the breakfast had a good variety of unique options. What really stood out was that my husband and I accidentally booked the wrong room type due to our own oversight. After understanding the situation, the front desk staff upgraded our room for free and even offered us some special floral tea while we waited. The service was simply phenomenal!
**Amenities:** Everything you could possibly need, except for the smart speaker which was a bit unresponsive.

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You can catch both the sunrise and sunset from two different sides of the room, and the room itself is incredibly spacious! I also loved the decor. There's a large shopping mall nearby, just a ten-minute walk away, and there are breakfast spots right downstairs, which is super convenient. The service was also incredibly thoughtful; the front desk lady was very kind and didn't seem bothered at all when she showed us the room – thumbs up! This trip to Yunnan has shown me how wonderful and genuine the people here are! A truly excellent experience!"

"The lady at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic. When we checked in, she saw we had a lot of luggage and proactively helped us carry it. Our room was also upgraded for free, which was such a pleasant surprise! The room itself was very quiet and comfortable, with plenty of space. The smart system was quite advanced; you could just call out to turn on the lights automatically. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary buffet breakfast, which was comprehensive and satisfying. This stay was truly an unexpected delight and a very satisfying experience overall. Highly recommended!"

"After traveling all the way from Shanghai and staying in five or six hotels, this one truly stands out as 200% amazing. It's well-equipped, clean, and offers all sorts of thoughtful services you wouldn't even expect. The staff (both male and female) are incredibly helpful, polite, and attentive. Even my picky daughter said she loved this hotel! On our second night, my daughter fell ill, and the front desk attendant went above and beyond, helping us buy medicine, get porridge, and even carry our luggage. Unfortunately, due to my family's health, we couldn't enjoy our trip to the fullest and had to cut it short and head home early. But next time I'm in Kunming, Yunnan, I'm definitely staying here again."

The hotel's location and surroundings are excellent; it's very convenient to get to Cuihu Lake or Dianchi Lake to see the seagulls, or to the old street for snacks. The staff are also warm and thoughtful. There's even a delivery robot that can bring takeout to your room, so the service is always on point. I'm quite satisfied and highly recommend it. Please keep up the good work."

Qqxc1963The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is warm and attentive, and the facilities are complete. The lobby has a strong artistic design. The hotel also features a hot spring, swimming pool, and gym. The environment is beautiful, a garden-style hotel with lush greenery, quiet, and within walking distance to Haigeng Dam, Yunnan Nationalities Village, and Haigeng Park. The hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety, and the Chinese restaurant serves delicious food, especially the clay pot rice. We initially planned to stay for two days but extended our stay for a few more.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is excellent and very close to Changshui Airport! There's a local night market nearby, which is super convenient for late-night snacks and buying fruit. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped, very cozy! It's so close to Changshui Airport that you just need to call the front desk after landing, and they'll arrange a pick-up. Very convenient! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I have a layover in Kunming.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is away from the city, if that what you are looking for, its quiet and very green. The rooms are large and well supplied but a bit dated. The breakfast is good and is at the top of the hill with a great view. In room massage service was a highlight of our stay and very reasonably priced and excellent. It is a great choice if you don't mind a 40 -50 min ride into the city center.

GGuest UserWe are happy with our stay. It is very near the GREEN PARK. Just in front of the hotel. They even have a washer and dryer. Just minus point is the room is small and dark. Not suitable for family. But the front desk have informed us about the room is small but we did not expect it to be really cramp and so dim😆 because it mentions 2 bed. But its really a great hotel to stay. The staff is nice and helpful. The bed is comfy. I really recommended it for couples and solo traveller. If you want to go to the old town, take a didi. Its only 5-10 minuted by car.

The garden was enchanting and beautiful and I particularly love the roses.The breakfast was nice at an affordable price. The lady chef was exceptionally friendly too. The hotel manager was very friendly and allowed us to pick their apples at their garden.The only thing lacking was the amenities. Not easy to find a decent place to shop in our spare time. Highly recommended!👍

DDavidOverall I was very impressed with the hotel the rooms are clean and pretty well appointed and the service was very efficient although perhaps reserved ( which is not a bad thing although I do personally like to see a few more smiles) I was there to play golf for three days and my family to explore Kunming and the hotel provided a good location to do exactly that. We enjoyed our stay and the attached golf course is impressive and I will certainly go back.

FFirman LOne thing I like about this hotel is that it is not crowded with people, front desk is very responsive and they try their utmost best to please their guests.
Had a restful sleep and pleased that I was able to get hot showers. Didn't try their breakfast at their level 9 restaurant as they mentioned only certain days they have halal breakfast.
No in room fridge but there are convenience stores nearby, at night there are fruit sellers along the road. There is a hospital nearby and a police post. Pharmacy nearby and quite please with the area.
Even though there are No Smoking Signs, other guest do smoke in the hotel. And low season means there are fewer guest so, lesser smokers there, which I am happy about.
They have self service laundry room with one washer and a separate dryer. Quite happy with that too.
Thank you front desk ladies for your service and for the breakfast packs given to us for our departure to the airport. Apologies for not able to take the airport transfer due to my Mother in Law's knees. Hope to see you all soon!

AAnonymous UserFacilities: Very comprehensive, the front garden is lovely and well-maintained. The washing machine was convenient to use, the bed was extra large, and all the toiletries were provided.
Ambiance: Excellent! There were fresh flowers indoors, and the hotel is surrounded by many scenic spots, making it easy to get around. Rooms facing the street might be a bit noisy, but we were upgraded to a quieter room for free during the off-season, which was fantastic!
Service: Superb! The young lady at the front desk was humble and polite. Someone was even there for check-out at 6:30 AM, and they were always ready to help with anything we needed. The staff are dedicated and trustworthy.

It's right by Nanqiang Street Night Market (turn right downstairs) and Nanping Pedestrian Street (turn left then left again downstairs), both just a 2-minute walk away. If you continue along Nanping Pedestrian Street, you'll reach Kunming Old Street (where Duyue Tower is). I recommend walking there and taking a taxi back to save energy.
Finally, a big thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk who upgraded our room. To stay in such a central location in Kunming with this kind of value for money is truly amazing!
