"We just got back to Kunming from Tengchong, and checking into 18 Degrees Residence was a series of pleasant surprises! For this price point, being able to stay in a hotel of this caliber is incredible value for money. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming, and there's free coffee available in the lobby. In the room, you can control the curtains, lights, TV, and audio with the smart assistant. The decor is white with charming semi-circular arches for the doors and windows – very distinctive and I loved it! A robot delivered complimentary sweet soup and fruit to our room. The hotel is located right next to the subway, making transportation incredibly convenient; nothing feels far away. Our room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was super comfortable. Sitting by the window, gazing at the view below, and enjoying the welcome sweet soup and fruit, all the fatigue from our previous travels just melted away. Definitely a five-star review! I’d love to stay at a hotel from this brand again next time!"

"This hotel was absolutely the highlight of our trip! For just over 200, the experience was incredibly satisfying. The amenities far exceeded my expectations: the room had a modern design, and the best part was the high-altitude scenic view. From the window, you could see the Wanda Twin Towers in Xishan, and the night view was stunning. There was even a smart voice assistant in the room – controlling lights and playing music was as easy as a voice command, so convenient! The twin beds were 1.35 meters wide, wider than those in typical hotels, making it very comfortable for staying with children or friends."

"Clean and modern, minimalistic room. Bed is comfy. There is a bidet. Projector was nice, we watched a couple of movies during our stay. However, for a family of 3, there is very little hooks or towel rack thats is practically absent for our jackets and towels. The clothes stand was a little to small although they provided a number of hangers. I think a few wall hooks wont hurt the mininalist look. Location is 10/10 especially if you are a muslim. Halal food is everywhere. Service is good too. The receptionists tried to help us with any questions we had. I’d stay here again for sure."

"The hotel is right next to the bustling Jinma Biji Square, and it's just across the road from Kunming Old Street commercial area and Nanqiang Night Market. The hotel staff are very attentive and proactive, and the breakfast is abundant with a wide variety of choices. Although the room isn't huge, it's actually quite comfortable to stay in. The soundproofing isn't great, but it's no worse than other hotels in the same category. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. I would definitely book this hotel again if I'm ever in Wuhua District."

Yunnan is a fantastic place, and I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit."

"The hotel is excellent, and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a high-end yet minimalist style, making them very comfortable. The bedding quality is superb, just like at home – soft and gentle on the skin. Every day, the lovely ladies at the front desk would bring us a fruit platter with oranges, apples, pears, and even pepino melons. The surrounding area is also beautiful; Daguang Park is right across the street from the hotel, teeming with seagulls. Within a 3km radius, there's Nanya Fengqing No.1 City, a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient."

"The hotel gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room. The location is convenient and nearby few malls. 15mins + Walking distance to the main attractions such as Kunming Lao Jie and Nanping road. Breakfast menu is good and big portion. Staff are friendly. Room is clean and quiet. Leaving hotel at dawn and there were many taxi drivers downstairs which you do not need to make airport transfers in advance. I go aiport by meter charge and the driver round off the fee and only charge me rmb100 (hotel to airport including toll fee)."

"The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, which was very comforting. The room had a minimalist style, was clean and hygienic, and the bedding was of excellent quality, providing a comfortable sleep. More importantly, the hotel's location is superb. Stepping out, you're right on Nanping Street, Kunming Old Street, and Kunming Department Store. It's also less than 500 meters from the subway station, allowing for convenient direct access to the airport or train station. It's an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kunming."
