"My kid insisted on a hot spring hotel for Chinese New Year, and since we'd pretty much stayed at all the ones in Nanjing, we opted for Hantian in Tianmu Lake. **Cleanliness:** The hotel's overall cleanliness was really good, from the rooms to the hot springs and the restaurant. **Environment:** The environment is genuinely lovely, nestled by mountains and water. The resort is also quite spacious, perfect for kids. **Facilities:** The room was big enough, but the facilities felt a bit outdated. There's plenty of parking, but spaces near the main building are scarce, so you often have to park at P4. Although there's a shuttle, it still felt a bit inconvenient. **Service:** The service was genuinely excellent. Before our arrival, a dedicated butler contacted us, sent us the location, and reminded us about breakfast times. **Welcome Fruit & Minibar:** We stayed two nights, and they provided these daily. We didn't finish the fruit on the first day, but they still replenished it on the second. The minibar also had a good variety, including two cans of beer, which saved us a trip out. **Couple's 180° Lake View Half-Mountain Hot Spring Tickets:** They also included daily hot spring tickets and trampoline park tickets. The hot springs were indeed fantastic, with many pools. The lakeside pools offered breathtaking views, and with the good weather these past two days, we could even see the Big Dipper."

"I didn’t have time to take pictures of the room. The room layout is the same as the picture. It is also very good. The service attitude of the front desk lady is very positive and enthusiastic. The environment of the lobby is also very fresh. There is also a small backyard where you can sit outside and chat and relax. The only place where there is no place is that the hygiene needs to be strengthened. The pool is not cleaned up and there are a few small hairs by the bed. There is nothing else. "We originally booked an elegant standard room. I'd heard great things about the hotel's private hot spring rooms, and luckily there was a promotion when we arrived, so we upgraded to a hot spring room for a small extra charge. The room was fantastic! It had its own private hot spring tub and was on a secluded floor. Even the key cards were custom-designed, which was a nice touch. Service: Butler Dai Dai provided excellent service. I happened to mention that the black rice at breakfast was really good, and Butler Dai Dai overheard me and sent some up to our room – so thoughtful and attentive, highly recommend! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. The private hot spring tub water is changed after every guest, and the privacy was excellent. Ambiance: The overall hotel environment is lovely. The central courtyard's water curtain wall is a great spot for photos. Definitely recommend!"

"I didn't want to go too far during the May Day holiday but wanted to avoid the crowds, so I decided to try this hotel. The service was friendly, the rooms were clean and unique, and it was very interesting to stay in the tree house tent for the first time. It also included 2 cups of American coffee, 100 yuan coupon for Tianmu Lake casserole fish head: Tickets to Tianmu Lake Landscape Park (unlimited entry during the stay) were also very interesting~"

"A very satisfying stay! The hotel is right on the shore of Tianmu Lake. Manager Zeng kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room for free 🥳 The floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the lake, and sitting by the window, we could enjoy the view – very pleasant! While the hotel facilities are consistent with renovations from 10 years ago, they were clean and tidy. The room included a 100 RMB voucher for authentic Tianmu Lake fish head hot pot, which we ordered a day in advance from Manager Zeng. The soup was indeed delicious, and the fish was tender – clearly made with fresh fish. It was great value after the discount! We also ordered celery and pork ribs, which came to about 100 RMB per person. Lunch at the hotel ends at 1 PM, so it's recommended to book in advance with the manager. The hotel package includes a complimentary bicycle for one hour of riding. We actually rode for about 3 hours, starting around 10:30 AM and returning around 1:30 PM. The hotel provided Giant mountain bikes, which were excellent and comfortable to ride! At Tianmu Lake scenic area, only electric bikes are available for rent; bicycles are almost nonexistent, and family bicycles are even less common! The hotel's (actually free) bicycle rental service was fantastic! Our route was hotel-Shahe Bridge-hotel, and the return trip on Highway 1 was almost entirely downhill with beautiful scenery – a truly wonderful experience! The hotel's hot spring is outdoor; you need to bring your swimsuit if you want to use it. Guests can use the outdoor hot spring for free. We didn't bring our swimsuits, and it felt a bit chilly outside, so we skipped it. Our manager recommended an indoor hot spring in Liyang city called Jinsha Hot Spring, about a 25-minute drive from the scenic area. We took our child there; it cost 80 RMB per person, including one meal, and allowed 12 hours of use – also quite good!"

"The service exceeded my expectations. The staff at Chang Le were incredibly welcoming, providing excellent service from the moment they drove me up the mountain in an electric cart, to the explanations along the way, and even the patient explanations of the facilities in the treehouse. The service was exceptionally attentive and meticulous. Both the hot springs at the summit and the private hot springs in my room had excellent water quality and were very comfortable. The environment was quiet, and the hiking around the mountain provided just the right amount of exercise for a relaxing vacation. A very satisfying trip."

"Facilities: The room is on a small hillside, the environment is very private and quiet, there is a courtyard for tea, and it has a large pool for bubble bathing. The fire of the hot pot was an alcohol lamp. The soup in the pot never boiled during the whole meal. There were no hot pot seasonings. There was no sesame paste, shacha sauce, etc. There were only vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic paste and other condiments. For breakfast on the last day, the paper cups for ice cream next to the ice cream truck were gone. I asked the waiter at the fruit bar next to it for more, and he said, ”Sorry, there are no more ice cream cups.” I was so angry that I laughed. Who trained this kind of service concept? How many guests are staying in the hotel? It's okay that the hotel is not well prepared, but can't they help the guests find solutions? The ice cream paper cups are used up. Do you have other paper cups? Otherwise, do you have bowls in the kitchen? Just saying that there are no more, it's still meal time. Does it mean that the guests behind don't want to eat? The auntie who collects the plates is also very diligent. She is still sitting. If she sees that your plate is empty, she will collect it. Then you collect the plates, but leave the chopsticks. You have taken away everything. Are you chasing guests away? Table manners need some training. I had to eat without my chopsticks being placed horizontally. Otherwise, it would give people a bad impression."

"We went on a big group of families/friends and booked all rooms for our crew. It was a nice experience, hotel service is good, kind and warm people, supportive and caring. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was generously adapted to a western style. Good time spent."

"We stayed in a loft-style room with our child. The room was very spacious; even if two adults and two children stayed together, it wouldn't feel cramped at all. There was even a bag of building blocks in the room for the kids to play with. With the heater on, it was very warm both upstairs and downstairs. I've stayed in many family-friendly hotels with my child, and this one is definitely the best in terms of service. The staff were genuinely enthusiastic. Before check-in, the butler kept in touch with me about various activities, and the hotel kept bringing us things—drinks, fruit, afternoon tea, and a heartwarming bowl of porridge in the evening. We were already full just from the complimentary items! Li Rencui from the housekeeping department was very warm and attentive, even washing our child's clothes for us—we felt so bad! We hadn't made a reservation for afternoon tea, but the staff proactively arranged something for us. The staff member next to the hot pot pool was also very attentive, constantly reminding the children to check their feet for blisters if they soaked for too long. My child soaked for too long and refused to get out, resulting in wrinkles on their feet, and the staff member even thoughtfully found some band-aids for them. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends bringing their children; it's like the Haidilao of the hotel world!"
