Romantic Hotels in Rongcheng

"The service was excellent and the facilities were well-designed. Our sea-facing room offered direct ocean views. Parking was convenient, with both surface and underground options available. Although it's not a chain hotel, the management operates at that level, and some of the small details were quite innovative. We had dinner on the first floor of the hotel, and the food was delicious. The mackerel dumplings were the best I've had since entering Shandong; they had no fishy taste and even a subtle, indescribable aroma (milky, perhaps?). The Geda soup was generously portioned with an abundance of shrimp, and the addition of some unknown vegetable made it even more flavorful. I'd had a good Geda soup in Qingdao before (with more 'geda' or dough lumps, making it a main meal), but this one was even better. As other reviews mentioned, the breakfast spread was extensive, making me want to try everything, but my stomach wasn't big enough. The only downside was that the room was a bit cold and the heating couldn't be turned up enough. However, after arriving in Shandong, even the most consistently good Atour hotel in Qingdao also had cold rooms without proper heating, so this isn't a deal-breaker. I rarely stay at non-chain hotels because I'm unsure of the quality, but this one was truly excellent and offered great value for money overall."

My only complaint was that after turning off the lights at night, the lights on the TV, mirror, and bedside panel were incredibly bright. The entire room was bright. The blue light on the mirror shone directly onto the bed, making it impossible to sleep without an eye mask. It was a huge sleep interruption. I woke up in the middle of the night on the first day, and the room was dimmed after blocking out all the lights the next day. The pictures show the dimmed light. Free pick-up from Rongcheng Station: Departs at the station on the hour. Welcome fruit: I forgot to give it. Environment: The cleanliness and room were okay. "The hotel's location is perfect for a family vacation! It's a 5-minute walk from the back entrance of Adventure World to Diamond Beach, which is super convenient for kids to play in the sand and water. Dining and shopping options nearby are also great, and I really liked the Korean supermarket! The room was spacious and clean, with enough room for everything. The fridge was handy for storing fruits, making it very family-friendly. The only downside was that the beds couldn't be combined, making it a bit cramped for one adult with a child. It's not far to get to the Blue Whale and Shendiaoshan Zoo, but you have to leave early to avoid heavy traffic. It made the whole trip much less of a hassle. Overall, the environment is good. Staying here when visiting Naxianghai saves a lot of effort and worry. Highly recommended for family trips!"

"I rarely write reviews, but my first visit to the Shandong coast left a great impression, mainly because of the sea view private hot spring and pool. The hotel as a whole is top-notch, with excellent decor and aesthetics. The front desk lady was incredibly warm and gentle, and a gentleman helped with my luggage and thoughtfully adjusted the room temperature in advance. All the other staff were also very enthusiastic and professional, showing that their internal training is very thorough. The room view is unbeatable, and the private hot spring is huge, more than enough for two people. Opening the door to the sea and falling asleep to the sound of waves at night was pure bliss. The toiletries are a full set of Bulgari, there's a Dyson hairdryer, and a smart toilet. The minibar drinks and all kinds of cups are fully stocked. The environment is first-class, and the sliding door separating the wash area from the bed provides excellent sound isolation. I want to especially praise the pool. At this time of year, very few other hotels, especially those with outdoor pools, have theirs open, but this hotel's pool is already open. I went for a swim in the afternoon when it was warm. I heard there are only about twenty rooms, so the guest experience is excellent with fewer people. I was lucky enough to have the pool all to myself, which you wouldn't experience at a regular five-star hotel. The mackerel dumplings for breakfast were very fresh and delicious, and the breakfast also had fruit, which was a huge plus. As a watermelon lover, I was very satisfied. There are shared e-scooters at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient for those without a car. It's easy to get to Xianghai, Jiming Island, and the shipwreck, and taxis are readily available. There's also a nearby restaurant that serves delicious sea cucumber with rice. Areas for improvement: Because the private hot spring is so large, the disposable bathtub liner provided was a bit small and couldn't cover the walls of the hot spring once filled with water. I hope they can change their selection in the future, though I imagine there are few liners on the market that fit such a large hot spring. I also hope they can improve the placement of the pendant lamp on the left side of the bed in the 270 sunset view room. I wish them prosperous business and hope to stay again next year."

"My stay at Rongcheng Ni's Haitai Resort Hotel truly exceeded expectations, I wholeheartedly give it a perfect rating! The hotel complex is nestled against the mountains and by the sea, with excellent landscaping – every step offers a new beautiful view. The room was clean and dry, and the bedding was soft and very comfortable to sleep in. The staff were friendly and responsive to any issues. The beach is right outside, perfect for a relaxing stroll and sea breeze, which was incredibly therapeutic. The facilities are comprehensive, and the resort has a wonderful vacation vibe. I highly recommend it for anyone vacationing in Rongcheng!"

"This guesthouse boasts a backyard right by the sea, complete with a lush garden, an infinity pool popular with influencers, and a white house with a seaside courtyard. Step outside and you're at the fishing port, offering the best sunset views in the evening. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep."

It seems to walk into a fairy tale village ... The public areas of the homestay include restaurants, cafes, viewing platforms and even the rare open-air pools of the Northern B&B! The coffee table and desk in the room should be old wooden doors. The decoration on the wall in the yard is a floating fishing boat. "Ambiance: Fantastic! Beachcombing: Not suitable for kids. The beaches near the hotel are all rocky. Service: Subpar. Staff don't proactively greet guests. Cleanliness: Excellent. The rooms are spotless. However, some facilities are indeed old; for example, even with all the bathroom lights on, it's still dim and hard to see. Dining: Breakfast is decent, but I don't understand why the dining area, given such a beautiful environment, is in the basement. Wouldn't it be better to have breakfast on the ground floor atrium while enjoying the scenery? The dinner buffet looked unappetizing, and although not expensive, it didn't tempt me. As for à la carte, the prices are at least three times the normal rate. If my family hadn't insisted on eating out, I would have definitely tried it to see what makes it three times more expensive. Summary: The environment is absolutely amazing, and the hotel has solid foundational hardware. However, the service and dining are disappointing. If you don't have a car, I'd recommend hotels closer to the city center, as staying here without a car is quite inconvenient."
