"Overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is right next to Sanyang Plaza and very close to A Bing's former residence. It's just a short walk from the subway station to the hotel. The higher floor offers a nice view too! 👍"

"I've never been keen on writing reviews before, but my first Ctrip review goes to this hotel. Its location is excellent, right next to Liyuan Garden and just a few minutes' walk from the Taihu Star Ferris Wheel amusement park. I stayed for two nights, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. They proactively upgraded my room and allowed a late check-out until 2 PM. The room's facilities were top-notch, making for a very comfortable stay. The environment was clean and tidy. I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant and ordered breakfast to my room in the mornings; both the dishes and flavors were fantastic. The chef seems quite renowned. The restaurant also sells tea, and I bought four boxes of Cuizhu and two bags of Biluochun. The tea quality was excellent too. If I visit Wuxi again, I will definitely choose to stay here."

"Hygiene: The room was quite clean, with no obvious stains. The cleaning staff were friendly and proactively greeted me, even telling me where the restaurant was. Environment: Lush greenery and an expansive view, offering a distant glimpse of Yuantouzhu. The downside is that it's quite far from the core scenic area compared to Sakura Villa and Taigong Sanatorium. Also, walking the internal garden paths felt a bit underwhelming, just showing garden views, which makes it less impressive than other state guesthouses. Service: The front desk staff were excellent; they resolved issues promptly after check-in and were very considerate of guests. The breakfast included with our stay was decent, but if I had bought it separately through a group deal, I honestly think the price (over 100 RMB) would be a bit disappointing – just 'okay.' Perhaps my expectations were too high. Facilities: (My extremely negative rating here is specifically for the swimming pool service) I want to say that if the pool is a constant selling point, then the supporting services need to keep up. You shouldn't neglect hotel guests just because you're prioritizing those who pay extra for tickets. I went to the ground floor pool around 4 PM on Saturday. The attendant said all lockers were full. I was surprised because male guests were still entering and exiting. He claimed all 20+ women's lockers were full. I understood and left my number, asking to be called when a spot opened up. It was 8:40 PM (the pool closes at 10 PM) when I returned to the pool, and the same attendant greeted me, again saying there were no lockers. By this point, I was furious. Five hours and no female guest had left? The attendant said new guests kept coming in (which begs the question: what's the point of registering if that's the case?). I said I'd just sit nearby and wait to see if anyone left. Five minutes later, a female guest finished swimming and left. After she was gone, I went to the service desk again to ask if I could enter. A different female attendant was now on duty. She explained that this guest hadn't used a locker, so there were still no new wristbands available. At this point, I was truly speechless. Why didn't they explain this to guests earlier? If you don't need a locker, you can go straight in to swim – just don't bring valuables. So, the previous attendant completely failed to mention this and just let hotel guests wait pointlessly, right??? I finally got in around 9 PM. To be honest, there were probably about 36 lockers in the women's changing area, and at least 16 women in the pool. I honestly don't care if there are lockers or not. Perhaps the pool is outsourced, leading to this double standard for hotel guests. But seriously, this swimming pool incident really marred what was otherwise a quite good travel experience. I hope the hotel strengthens its oversight."

"Amenities: The hotel has complete facilities, with a refrigerator and stove all in one. Hygiene: This is a common issue with serviced apartments – the air conditioning vents had a fair amount of dust, and there were some blind spots for cleaning in the corners. Service: The service was excellent. The butler was very responsive to our requests and even helped us store our luggage. Overall, the good points outweighed the minor flaws. Recommended."

"Finally checked into this hotel in Wuxi's 'clouds,' and the experience was absolutely incredible! The room view was unbeatable, overlooking the bustling nightscape of Zhongshan Road – truly romantic. The cleanliness was spotless, and the facilities were very smart. Watching the sunset and enjoying the night view here with my partner instantly elevated the whole experience. It's definitely the top choice for high-rise hotels in Wuxi, highly recommended for anyone coming to Wuxi for a romantic getaway!"

"I chose InterContinental because of its convenient location, with several attractions within a 20-minute drive or walk. It's really handy. The hotel room is quite spacious, and the decor has that classic old-school hotel feel, which is expected given its age; some of the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it's still very comfortable, and the service, including the dining options, is excellent. The Chinese restaurant, in particular, has great food. Mary, our butler, provided great service. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Wuxi."

"What a gem of a hotel right by Wuxi East Station! It's a mere 260-meter walk to the subway, making it super convenient for catching high-speed trains or exploring attractions – truly a lifesaver for travelers. The room boasts panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, perfect for soaking in city views during the day and unwinding with the city lights at night. The bedding is so soft you'll never want to get up! The bathroom features a wet/dry separation and a luxurious bathtub, with quality evident in every detail. The breakfast is a fantastic mix of Chinese and Western options, incredibly rich, with freshly made beef noodles, fresh fruit, and desserts all on offer. The main dining experience, a delightful fusion of new Zhejiang cuisine and authentic Wuxi local dishes, was even more impressive – every bite tasted of Jiangnan flavors. The complimentary heated pool and gym are a real bonus, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive throughout my stay, from check-in to check-out. The value for money is absolutely outstanding. I'm definitely staying here again on my next trip to Wuxi!"

"① They offer bed rails, and you can choose whether or not to have them installed. ② The service across the board was excellent, very proactive and attentive. ③ I had average expectations for breakfast based on other reviews, but it was actually a pleasant surprise and very good. ④ The ancient town has nice scenery, but the river water quality is only so-so, which slightly detracts from the overall experience. ⑤ Since the hotel itself is a scenic spot, rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy during the day, while rooms by the river are very quiet. ⑥ The mini-bar is automatically refilled and complimentary for repeat stays. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay!"

"I checked in at 8 PM on the day of arrival, and the hotel reception had called beforehand to confirm my check-in time and even upgraded my room type. The room was spacious, the bedding quality was excellent, and the soundproofing was great, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast was bountiful, featuring local delicacies like wonton noodle soup, as well as Western options. The hotel also thoughtfully provided complimentary laundry service. When I needed to print some documents, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and efficient, printing everything for me free of charge. Upon check-out, which happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel presented a thoughtful gift. Overall, the stay was excellent, and I highly recommend it for business travelers and families with children!"
