"An oasis of peace and safety. The tent was stunning, just like something out of a Pinterest board. It was warm even at night because there were air conditioners everywhere, easily switched to heat. The food in the restaurant was delicious. We also took advantage of the ATV rental service. I like it and recommend this place!"

"Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family"

"This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, right in the new district. Breakfast was also pretty good. Within 500 meters, there are coffee shops, bakeries, and several other stores and restaurants, so you'll always find something to eat in the evening. However, the service was just so-so. You have to wait a long time to get anything. Our room was drafty at night, and we called five times to change rooms, but they forgot about us because of a shift change at the front desk... It took over an hour to finally get a room change. Other than that, everything else was great 👍"

"Amazing hotel, brilliant staff who can't do enough for you. Food amazing !!!!! So much choice ..Rooms faultless.. Reception staff are so helpful!! A taxi to Marrakech centre is MAD150. Be careful not to be ripped off. The hotel offer a bus service, twice a day its free otherwise you have to pay . The city centre is definitely a visit. It's great to stay and enjoy the hotel but go and enjoy Marrakech as well"

"The room was nice and clean. The bathroom didn't have a door, but it was designed so that water wouldn't get all over the floor. The hotel restaurant was nice, and the bar staff were very friendly. They would be a little slow when there were many people."

"Before going to the ancient city of Marrakech, everyone commented that you can try to live in a more distinctive courtyard house. In fact, it is a family hotel renovated from the old house in the ancient city. There are various price ranges, ranging from 200-800 dirhams. We deliberately I chose a house with more than 600 dirhams, thinking that it is more expensive, and the environment is better and more distinctive. But I was a bit disappointed after I went there. The location was not very good. I had to walk around many small alleys. I found it very far inside. The rooms and toilets were very small. In fact, there are many courtyard houses near Lala House, the environment is similar, but the price is half cheaper, so I think Lala House is not cost-effective. The only relief is that the little brother on duty at night saw that we were going out to play in the ancient city, and gave us a map intimately, which also drew how we came back to the hotel from the square. Also, the early breakfast of the next morning was not bad and rich, but the others were really mediocre."
