"Good hotel in a quiet location-- hospital area. Parking is $10 a day, however there are some street parking spots on Catalina if you're looking to save the parking cost (just pay attention to no parking zones). Carpet was a bit dirty and hotel shows it's age in some aspects, but overall it was a solid place to stay. Area felt generally safe for being in the city core. All staff were pleasant to deal with.
I stayed for an event downtown. Was planning to take light rail but the station was sort of marginal so ended up driving. Much better value than the downtown hotels, especially if you'll have a vehicle with you."
