2-Star Hotels in Catalonia, Spain

My partner and I only stayed one night because we were attending a wedding at Mas Marroch, so we can't give much of an opinion, except about the room: everything was fine. We appreciated the fact that there were free drinks and coffee in the lobby.

It was good but if menu availability for breakfast were wider, it should have been even better.

My child had a solo trip and stayed for three nights. It was convenient, clean, and most importantly, safe, especially for a female traveler. She returned home safely from this trip. Before she left, I was worried about her safety, but everything turned out fine. I'm grateful for the warmth and friendliness of the locals in Barcelona and other tourists towards my child. And even more grateful for the beauty Gaudi has given to the world. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Barcelona.

I stayed at Can Cocollona for three days during my trip to Girona, and I really enjoyed my stay there 🦋 The hostel is very close to the train and bus station, which was perfect for me because I arrived by bus. It was easy to find and very convenient. At the same time, the area is quiet and nice, so I could relax after a long day of walking around the city. The price was affordable and totally worth it. The breakfasts were tasty and quite big — there were sandwiches, croissants, eggs, cereal, milk, tea and coffee. It was a great way to start the morning before going out to explore Girona. I also liked that my room had a balcony - it was a small detail, but it made the stay even better. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was important for me. There is also a shared kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is very convenient if you don’t want to eat out all the time. The best part for me was the friendly atmosphere. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the other guests were open and nice. I felt comfortable and welcome there!

The place is lovely for introverts I like it, €8 to Barcelona city from the hotel on train. Outside the fact it’s far from the airport and city. I believe it’s a good place for group trip. The hotel is good

This place is VERY far from the city centre and the beaches so keep that in mind when booking. Although the hostel itself is safe, bussing back at 5 am which takes about 1 hour from the clubs and city centre is not great. The room is small but it does the job. Staff are super nice and the amenities are good.

This hotel is really great, and the location is absolutely superb. You can walk to all the attractions, so there's no need for public transportation. As a hostel, it also feels very safe. The breakfast at 12 euros in the evening and 7 euros in the morning were both good. The front desk staff were also very nice. My only complaint is that the USB charging port was broken. I actually thought my own plug was faulty and went out to buy a new one, only to find out later it was the hotel's. I would definitely stay here again next time.

I have to say it's the best Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona. The location is near the guell park, compared to the other popular location, it's not noisy and really quiet at night. Everything is clean, you can a nice aroma everywhere once you enter into the hostel. They provided the locker and the key, so it's also safety. I would definitely choose it for the next time's travel in Barcelona.

The man at the reception was very kind! The breakfast had a good variety, and everything I tried was delicious. It was very convenient to buy groceries and ready-made meals from the nearby supermarket, as the room was equipped with a microwave, oven, kettle, and other cooking utensils. Both the room and the common areas were clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the bathroom in the room couldn't be locked, so I had to keep an eye on my belongings while taking a bath.

I stayed here during my solo trip and had the best experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful — they really made me feel at home. The bathrooms were spotless and well maintained, which made such a big difference during my stay. The whole place had a really welcoming and positive vibe, and it was super easy to meet other travelers and make friends. As a solo traveler, I always look for places that feel safe and comfortable, and this hostel ticked all the boxes. The common areas were lively but relaxed, perfect for chatting, reading, or just hanging out. I left with great memories and new friends — I’d 100% recommend this hostel to anyone, especially solo travelers looking for a clean, friendly, and fun place to stay!
