"The hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport, making taxi rides quite easy. Having a supermarket and a laundry room nearby is a definite plus. The hotel boasts a hot spring, but perhaps due to its natural origin, it contained numerous impurities and didn't look very clean. Be prepared for long waits and slow service at check-in."

"Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Naha, great location with modern and clean rooms. If you are renting a car, parking is a bit more of a hassle because the hotel parking is an automated underground parking system. Cars can only be accessed 1 at a time, so there might be a wait time. Besides the parking situation everything else was fine, staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The room is small but every daily necessities are provided. It is convenient to buy snacks at Lawson nearby. The location is also good to go to the beach nearby for activity. Good for family trip and who love enjoying sun shine."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the location was convenient for transportation and 24-hour shopping. However, the 3rd-floor SPA massage area was a bit messy, with service towels being dried directly in the hallway 😂. This detracts from the hotel's image."

Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel. 🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results! 🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them! 📍 Prime Location Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central! 🍽️ Vibrant Evenings As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience. 💭 Still Dreaming About It Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!"

"This hotel is located in the most bustling part of Kokusai Street, less than a ten-minute walk from Makishi Station. Kokusai Street is right outside the hotel, and there are three convenience stores (7-Eleven, Lawson, FamilyMart) all within 100 meters. For a Japanese hotel, the room isn't small at all; it's more than enough space for one person, and probably just right for two. The front desk staff is quite responsible. There's an outdoor pool, which I'd heard was closed in December, but I actually saw people swimming. There's also a hot tub on the second floor, similar to hotels I've seen in Hokkaido. Overall, it's a good place, and I'd consider staying here again next time."

"This hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Kokusai Street, with a 7-Eleven and Lawson convenience store right downstairs – super convenient! We booked a triple room for two, and it was incredibly spacious. We could easily lay out two 28-inch suitcases flat. Just a heads-up on the cleaning: the hotel doesn't clean daily. If you stay for five days, they only clean on the middle day, so you'll need to keep an eye on the room's cleanliness yourself. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided, but not replenished daily; they're only replaced on the third-day cleaning. Overall, it's still good! The location is truly excellent, and the air conditioning works really well! Plus, they even gave us three room cards, which was a nice bonus!"

"Good point: 1) Excellent facilities: have jacuzzi, swimming pool, hot spring and bath place 2) Free shuttle bus offered with clear schedule 3) Have lot of restaurants, convenience stores and tourist place nearby 4) Easy to call taxi/ uber 5) Breakfast is highly recommended, great variety of drinks ( the tea choices are amazing )and delicious food 6) Free daily item to offered Bad point: 1) The room is too small, barely fit in 2 suitcases 2) Hygiene can be better , have dust everywhere 3) Air con is dripping to the bed, fridge is noisy 4) Corridor is too windy 5) Near Red light street, if you are family with children might be not a good choice"

"Overall, it's a pretty standard place, though the rooms are quite spacious compared to other options in the city. The chair at the vanity is a thoughtful touch. It's quite close to Kokusai Dori, but there isn't much else around. The hotel has two main entrances, which can make it confusing for taxis, as they might drop you off at the wrong one – a particular hassle if you're carrying luggage. There are several restaurants within the hotel, and for breakfast, the Japanese options are definitely tastier than the Western ones."
