"We recently stayed at this resort hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the amenities—from the pool to the common areas—were impressive and well-maintained. However, we were quite disappointed to return to our room after housekeeping had been in, only to find the door left open. This raised serious concerns about security and left us feeling uneasy. Thankfully, nothing was missing, but it’s something management should seriously look into. Also, while the breakfast buffet was decent, the variety was limited. For a resort of this caliber, we expected more options to choose from. In summary, it’s a nice place with great staff and facilities, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to security and food offerings."

"Beautiful beach location (Mariemegmeg) about 10 minutes TukTuk drive plus 10 minutes walk through ‘shopping/resort’ centre and then along the beach from El Nido port. (20-30 mins bus TukTuk from El Nido airport). Good value compared to other either very elegant accommodation or incredibly uncomfortable rustic huts or tree houses along this and neighbouring beaches. Our room and facilities were basic but there was lots of hot water in the shower, the air con worked well and the breakfast (extra cost) and meals were fine and the two-for-one cocktails at happy hour (pretty much all day) cocktails were very worthwhile. The restaurant area has fabulous views and you can sit there all day. The sea is warm, though cloudy with sand, and the trick to avoid jellyfish is not to swim when it’s been raining."

"We had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation. A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal. The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!"

"University /University dorm partially turned into a hotel with minimal investment. The result is mostly positive. The hotel is very photogenic so it's easy to get the impression that it's much more swanky than it actually is.. I enjoyed my stay, the staff is friendly, it's clean, surrounded by greenery and nice views. Don't let the name Hotel Palacio fool you, don't expect a palace, the hotel is modest but comfortable. Location wise, it's out of town which was no problem for me as I had prearranged a motorbike during my 7 days stay. For those pending on jeepney public transport or tricycle taxis, places like the baywalk are far away. The van I had organised to the airport early morning with the receptionist was punctually waiting for me. Everything was good. Expect a 3 star property and you won't be disappointed."

"Went here for a quick getaway with colleagues. We really enjoyed our stay here. So relaxing the view is great and the place is clean and quiet away from the busy city. Only con is that public transportation is not available. You can ask for the hotel reception to contact a van though or better yet avail their free shuttle. Highly recommended!"

"My husband and I stayed in one of the little huts with our own deck. It was so nice to relax in the hammock. Everything was clean and the staff were very quick to help if you needed something. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was delicious and they were able to make vegan for me. We walked down to the beach and back which I enjoyed because it was good exercise. The walk to the beach can be steep at times so wouldn't be good for someone with mobility issues. We loved it here and would definitely go back and recommend it to our friends. "

"This hotel was our first introduction to the Philippine islands. We specifically chose it because it's conveniently located for trips to see dugongs and turtles in the ocean, and it totally paid off. The excursion was simply excellent. Even though a typhoon had passed through the island just a few days before our arrival, we were met with a clean hotel. They had managed to get it almost completely back in order. The beach area was leveled and cleared. There's a long jetty for swimming. We were checked into a spacious room with an ocean view. Big props to the hotel staff for their eagerness to please us. They gave us a free early check-in since we arrived around 9 AM. Near the hotel, there's a small village where you can buy alcohol, fruits, and snacks, but the best part is the magnificent nature of this place. We were simply charmed. In the evening, after returning from a walk, we saw that a candlelit dinner table had been specially set up for us on the oceanfront. We were served a very delicious dinner and had a wonderful evening. On the day of our departure, we were unexpectedly told that we would be transferred to our next hotel on the island free of charge. You don't often encounter such attentiveness, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We would have gladly stayed longer in this lovely place to enjoy its hospitality and incredible local scenery, and to visit the safari park. Definitely recommend!"

"The hotel location is lovely and we saw some beautiful sunsets. The boats transporting guests to and from the town were always punctual and they were willing to take us very early in the morning when we checked out, free of charge. The staff are very nice and helpful, but I get the feeling they're each doing about two people's jobs. The restaurant isn't very good. Half the menu wasn't available and the food quality was average, with the exception of the squid (when they finally restocked it). Coffee is terrible. Also, they advertise happy hour, but when we wanted to order cocktails, we were told that there was no barman on duty and we could only have beers. The facilities need an urgent upgrade. The rooms are fine, but from the outside, it resembles a dormitory or, to be morbid, a mental institution. Also, they advertise snorkeling, but we were advised against going in the water and the pool has very chairs next to it. Not sure if we'll book again."

"We had an incredible time at Nacpan Glamping. We didn’t expect the actual place to be as stunning as it was, especially since the bumpy and muddy road leading to it felt challenging. It truly felt like a hidden paradise. The long journey was absolutely worth it. Nestled in nature with breathtaking views, the location made me feel completely relaxed and at peace. The vibe was laid-back and family-friendly, perfect for a getaway with loved ones. Breakfasts were delicious every day. Special thanks to all the staff for their exceptional service. The glamping tents were super comfortable and well-maintained. Highly recommend for a fantastic getaway"

"Everything was just amazing... It was a luxurious hotel that felt like staying in heaven. To be honest, the food was a bit mediocre (lol), but other than that, it was perfect! It was a bit inconvenient that we couldn't get a taxi because it was an island, but the hotel staff were very helpful and made our stay comfortable!"
