Hotel near Bath City Center,Bath
Set in a historic Georgian Terrace, Hotel Indigo Bath is located steps away from Bath’s city centre. Bath is famous for romance, literature, historic architecture, and more. Our modern and stylish rooms are inspired by our city, reflecting the influences of the architects and novelists who made Bath famous. Explore the historic sights like Bath Abbey, while also enjoying modern galleries, street performers, and local shops.

"The room was a delightful surprise – vibrant, stylish, clean, and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient for both the train station and local attractions. Inside the room, there were complimentary drinks, coffee, and tea. What was especially unexpected and helpful was finding an iron, which was perfect for smoothing out my wrinkled dress. Of course, the hotel isn't without its quirks; being an older building, getting to the room felt a bit like navigating a maze of twists and turns, and the soundproofing could be better. However, getting a good night's sleep was ultimately what mattered. Plus, ironing my clothes in the morning with the sunlight streaming through the window was quite a pleasant experience."

"The environment is good and the room is big enough. But knowing that there are four of us, there are only three beds, which is a bit inconvenient. The service is not good. When eating, you can hear all kinds of noises from the waiters, which is annoying. The plates fell on the floor twice. If there were no local guests next to me, I would have been too sensitive to think that they were showing off to our family. It is a pity that the service of such a good hotel is not as good as the hotel."

Steeped in history, Bath’s Henrietta House originates from the 1780s when a ‘new town’ area of Bath was built south of the river Avon. The architect of Henrietta House and the street was Thomas Baldwin who worked with Sir William Pulteney to divide up what had been river meadows.Today, Henrietta House offers a centrally located, tranquil setting with accommodation in 21 unique rooms.13;10;Bath was one of the most exclusive and glamorous cities in the entire world in the 1700s. Home to celebrated names such as Thomas Gainsborough (painter), Admiral Phillip (founder of Australia), and William Herschel (discoverer of Uranus), Bath was a spa town and retreat for the wealthy. A place where the upper echelons of British society could decamp from their country estates and London town-houses to meet, revel and make new connections over the summer months. The city was filled with the bustle of servants, the clatter of hooves and the chatter of the upper classes, gossiping over tea or duelling at the card table.13;10;Bath’s pre-eminence as ‘the place to be seen’ began to decline in the late 1700s. Whilst seaside resorts such as Brighton became the new fashionable hotspots for the privileged, Bath’s allure as a place of culture, healing and relaxation never disappeared entirely. Over two nights during the Second World War, Bath suffered heavy bombing, destroying much of the city close to the river. The scars of this trauma are evident in the entanglement of old and new buildings scattered across the city today.13;10;Bath is now as popular as ever. It is home to a large student population, drawn by the city’s two esteemed universities. Travellers flock to the city to admire the architecture and peruse the Roman Baths – the grandest amp; best preserved example in northern Europe. Meanwhile, the residents proudly inhabit a UNESCO world heritage city (courtesy of Bath’s Georgian architecture), and its streets are regularly employed as sets for film and TV, starring in films such as ‘The Duchess’, ‘Vanity Fair’ and ‘Sense and Sensibility’.

"I recently stayed at Henrietta Hotel in Bath. The room was clean and tidy, which was appreciated, but it was quite warm and lacked air conditioning. A floor fan was provided, which helped a little, but the heat was still noticeable. The shower was frustrating — once the water got hot, it was difficult to adjust it back to a cooler temperature. Breakfast was underwhelming. The ingredients felt cheap, and the portions were small — especially the juice served in tiny glasses. Overall, the stay was fine for a night or two, but a few improvements would make a big difference."

No15 Bath commands a superb location in the heart of Roman Bath - Great Pulteney Street is a classic example of Georgian splendour with its grand architecture - its highly sought after properties have housed the likes of the great novelist Jane Austin and the anti-slavery campaigner William Willberforce - No15 Bath is a Grade 1 listed building and is a true boutique hotel offering all the refineries you would expect in a splendid Georgian Townhouse

"The room is actually nice and quite big. There is a living room and a bedroom. Our room faces north, facing the big tree and the house on the mountain in the distance. Both windows can be opened. There are no gauze curtains, only curtains, but the house opposite is not facing is actually okay. The bathroom is very clean, with typical German-style bathroom facilities, wall-mounted toilets, beige tiles, large bathtubs and showers, and a hot towel rack for plumbing. Simple and practical. Facilities: There is no refrigerator in the room, so there is a pantry on the second floor, which has a refrigerator and some free soda, milk, popcorn, and fruit. Two bottles of mineral water are given in the room. After drinking, you can go to the pantry's filtered water facility to fill new ones. Hygiene: The sanitation is okay, at least the bathroom is cleaned very clean. I saw that the bed was made when I came back at night, but they didn't help fold the clothes, which is different from Asian hotels. Service: The hotel bar is very good, a pot of tea is only 4 pounds, and the breakfast is also delicious, so you don't have to go out for breakfast. The service staff are also very enthusiastic. The location is very good, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station. Bath itself is very small, so it is close to everything. Overall, it is a good choice to stay in Bath, at least this hotel does not require climbing a slope. 😂"

"Easy to find. Easy and smooth check in process. Lovely decor. Lift to all floors. Large rooms. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Hairdryer and iron available. Great view over looking the city. Fab breakfast. Lovely staff. Only complaint was the shower wasn't as powerful as we would of liked and the floorboards were very creaky so we could hear the people above at night and also when they ran their taps. £15 per night to park our vehicle. Fast and effective check out. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff."

"This is my first hotel booking with Trip and I must say I was skeptical at first whether it would go through. Thankfully, the hotel did receive the confirmation. Just needed to tell the receptionist your surname and they’ll be able to locate you in their system. We were passed complimentary cookies, which were really yummy. The bed in the double room was smaller than expected but it was still good enough for two adults. The rooms are not very soundproof so you can hear the outside cars if you’re on the side facing the city. But if you’re not overly sensitive, the sounds are acceptable. The 24/7 gym was fairly well-equipped for the space capacity. They had gym towels, sanitary wipes, and water refiller. The hotel breakfast was enjoyable as well. The restaurant had a good view. Overall, the stay was a really good deal! Would use Trip.com again."

"The hotel logo is not clear, the appearance photos are inconsistent with the online ones, and it is difficult to find by car. The booked room is completely different from the one introduced on xc and the area is small. You have to send an email before you check in. If you don't check in at the specified time, it is very troublesome. Hotel location is not bad, about 16 minutes walk from the attraction. The interior decoration of the room is very English, the breakfast variety is very good, and it is delicious."

"Wonderful setting and decor. Clean, comfortable bed. Would be good to add a smaller shower with the rain shower as it was difficult to have a shower without a shower cap  Helpful and attentive staff.  Good breakfast except they had obviously ran out of fresh mushrooms and replaced them with tinned, would have been better if they had asked if they can replace with something else and they were left untouched"
