"This was my third stay, and I chose this hotel again because my previous two experiences were so good. However, this time was truly unacceptable. We arrived at the hotel around 11 AM. My daughter had injured her leg while skiing, so we asked the middle-aged woman at check-in if we could check in early. She said yes, but we'd have to pay for an additional day – what a rip-off! The funny thing is, they told us we could wait in the lobby until 3 PM without paying. The lobby was nice, so we decided to wait there instead of wasting about 1700 RMB. But then, to our surprise, we saw the staff taking our luggage and other belongings to our room much earlier, while we weren't allowed to enter. Crazy! On top of that, the Wi-Fi signal this time was incredibly poor, almost unusable. Reporting it to the hotel didn't help either; we had to use our own data. So, this stay was truly, truly, truly disappointing! Attached is a photo of my daughter in a wheelchair, and they still wouldn't let us check in early. That middle-aged woman was so inhumane!"

"Due to a flight cancellation, we changed our original itinerary and arrived in Japan a day early. We chose to stay near the airport for a night. You can reach the hotel from the airport by bus or train; the bus stop is very close to the hotel. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, and you can also walk straight to Aeon. We booked a quad room, which was very comfortable for three of us. I don't like small rooms, and this hotel offers spacious rooms at a great price. It was really clean and nice. There's also a small park near the hotel, and the treehouse-like structure by the entrance offers free book rentals. It's adorable!"

"The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel is located near the train station in the quieter Chitose area, which made for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great room service. One of the biggest highlights was the convenient airport transportation, especially a huge relief when we had to manage our suitcases in the snow. There is also a shopping mall near the hotel, along with a large shoe plaza offering many options at reasonable prices. The staff there were incredibly kind and provided excellent service, making the experience even more enjoyable."

"It is located near only 1 stop JR station before going to New Chitose Airport. Very easy to find. Self check in is also easy just follow the instructions given. Spacious room and complete with all amenities including fridge, stove, microwave and there is a washing machine too! It suitable for staying if the flight is in the morning because the earliest time to the airport by JR train is at 6.40am. Suitable as a last stop before returning"

"This is a very traditional Japanese onsen ryokan. If you've never experienced this type of hotel before, it's an excellent choice. As someone who appreciates home decor, I absolutely loved the small cabinets and ornaments throughout the hotel; they felt carefully selected. There were also welcome drinks near the front desk, and a certain milk tea was delicious – definitely worth trying! The hotel offers a shuttle bus service from Chitose Station to the hotel. The pick-up from Chitose Station is at 2 PM, and the drop-off back to Chitose Station upon check-out is at 11 AM, which are very convenient times. The lake next to the hotel is beautiful and peaceful, and I even saw deer in the morning. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the hot springs, and a wonderful experience on this Hokkaido trip!"

"The hotel management is really poor. The public hot spring always has a sticky film on top, and there were foreign objects in the large pool where people lie down, almost cutting my skin. The worst part is that these things can't be removed. The day after soaking, my feet were incredibly itchy, probably due to a fungal infection. People with tattoos and whatnot were also soaking, and no one seemed to care. At 9 AM, staff members were walking around the hot spring area in outdoor snow boots, which was absolutely disgusting. And the funniest thing is, you have to take off your shoes when entering this hotel, and you're not allowed to wear slippers inside the entire hotel. I won't even mention the insufficient floor heating; walk around in socks for a bit, and white socks turn grey. Luggage can be wheeled through freely, so just imagine how dirty it must be. The dinner buffet was mediocre. I ordered a glass of red wine and had a headache all day afterward. The breakfast buffet the next day, however, was decent. I probably won't go back and hope they seriously improve their management. Don't tarnish the Tsuruga brand."

"This time I was staying in their annex building. The whole building has 5 rooms on two floors. There is a bar on the first floor, where guests can drink freely. The hot spring is in their main building, and there is a business car to pick you up. The waiter is very nice. But it is recommended to book their dinner in advance, because when we went there was off-season, there was no restaurant in Lake Shikotsu that opened at night, and there was no convenience store."

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of fresh option but the only problem is that the room doesn’t comes with shower . You will need to walk outside to take a shower which is inconvenient . Onsen was amazing ."

We stayed for two nights and added almost 16,000 yuan. The room type we booked on Ctrip did not include dinner. It was simply a big sucker. Just a reference for the Chinese compatriots behind, you don’t have to stay, you can stay. The hotel is OK in all aspects, the public area is pretty, the room is large but lacks design. It’s more homely! But there are few facilities, it’s not suitable for parents and children, and the price discourages parents and children. I stayed in Park Hyatt in Kyoto, Japan, a very good hotel. The children were only charged for breakfast. The cost of the children in the Azuki Seat is too exaggerated. In addition, the Shikotsu Lake next to the hotel is quite beautiful, but the transportation here is really inconvenient. The hotel has a pick-up at Chitose Airport, but it is only at 16:45 in the afternoon, so it is really difficult to connect. We took a taxi because there were few cars at night, and the taxi cost about 500 RMB. A taxi from the hotel to Sapporo JR is about 1000 RMB.
