The room could have been a bit cleaner — there was still quite a bit of dust in some areas such as the blinds and furniture. The furniture also looked a little worn with some scratches here and there. However, the bed was very comfortable, the linens were clean, and the pillows were soft. The room itself was spacious, which was great for our family of four, and our kids really enjoyed it.

The view from our room was beautiful — we could see the Oriental Pearl Tower right from the window. The breakfast was decent; we stayed for four nights, and the menu changed slightly every day, which kept it interesting.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially Mr. Kim, who assisted us warmly during check-in and made everything smooth and pleasant.

The location was excellent — it’s right next to the train station, making it very convenient to travel to places like Nanjing Road and other attractions around the city.

We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we visit Shanghai. What impressed us the most was that we stayed on my wife’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with a lovely birthday cake — such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! Before we checked out, they even prepared a small box of treats as a farewell gift, which made our experience even more memorable.

I stayed here for two nights last time, so I booked three more nights for this trip to Shanghai. The location is unbeatable, with direct access to Zhongshan Park Station on Metro Lines 2, 3, and 4. Plus, the hotel is directly connected to the Dragon Dream shopping mall, so you don't have to worry about dining, entertainment, or shopping. It's especially convenient on hot days because you don't have to brave the sun.

Both this hotel and Mingjie are under the Renaissance brand. However, at Mingjie, all staff actively greet guests. Here at Zhongshan Park, it's more by the book from check-in to check-out – not overly enthusiastic, not overly cold. But I'm quite introverted myself, so it didn't really matter.

Check-in and check-out are both handled on the 25th floor, where the front desk is located. Then, to go to your room or the gym, you have to transfer elevators on the 25th floor, similar to the Hyatt Regency in Jiading.

The two beds in the guest room felt a bit cramped, but for a single person, it was fine. There's a desk in the room but no chair, so I asked the cleaning lady for one. She was very prompt with her cleaning, and what impressed me most was that she actually remembered me from my previous stay, which was a pleasant surprise. Anyway, if you need anything, you can just dial zero, and they'll have the cleaning staff deliver it. However, all food deliveries must be picked up on the first floor; they can't be delivered to your room. This is mainly for guest safety, which is understandable. Oh, and the hotel's beds and pillows are incredibly, incredibly comfortable! I have issues with my neck and lower back, and out of all the hotels I've stayed at, their bedding always feels just right – not too soft, not too firm. This definitely deserves high praise!

During check-out, the young man named Ivan (pictured in the last photo) proactively asked me about my stay and if I needed help calling a taxi. When the taxi arrived, he even directed the driver to pull up and helped me put my luggage in the trunk. Even in nearly 40-degree Celsius heat, he remained friendly, thoughtful, and meticulous in his service to guests. He truly deserves a huge thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

First off, a big shout-out to the hotel's parking and the security guards! 👍 Their service was excellent and incredibly welcoming!!!

Secondly, the front desk service was fantastic; they took great care of us, especially since we had a child.

Thirdly, there's a pool, and the service there was also very good.

Shanghai itself can be a bit humid, but the hotel really tried its best to address this, which I appreciate. 👍

To have this level of service during the National Day holiday is truly commendable and worth recommending.

I extended my stay by an extra day as I hadn't finished everything yet. At breakfast, someone immediately seats you and asks if you'd like coffee or tea, which the server then pours and places at your table. For items that require waiting, you can take the bamboo skewer from your table to queue. For example, for noodles or wontons, once they're ready, they'll use your skewer number to deliver them directly to your table. This is a great system, as it avoids crowds at the stations and prevents people from cutting in line. The gym wasn't crowded, and since I don't swim, I didn't use the pool. When checking out, the staff at the front desk asked if I needed an invoice. If not, I could just hand the room card to him, saving me the hassle of waiting in line. It was a very pleasant stay, and I'd come back again if I have the chance!

Really love how the staff were so attentive and helpful during our stay. The hotel has good facilities especially the gym room. Counter staffs were great and facilitated our check in and check out process so smoothly. Kudos to them and the cleaning ladies who made our holiday a pleasant one.

It was good to stay again. Parking was convenient and the car was picked up in time. Basically, the hotel can meet all the conditions. I will stay here again next time. It is very convenient to stay here if you come to Flushing.

I thought it was a good hotel under the Marriott brand, and the price was comparable to domestic 5-star prices, but in reality it was less than 3-stars. The service was good and the location was good, but the equipment was old and the sound insulation effect was not good. The sound can still be heard at 12 o'clock in the evening. The room didn't even have a hairdryer. Not worth the price.

As a Marriott member, the hotel provides free breakfast and free drinks every morning. The breakfast is average but free, nothing to complain about. The hotel is in a good location and is within walking distance of the Empire State Building. It is worth mentioning that when we checked out, we had to go to LGA LaGuardia Airport. The car the hotel helped us call was big and new, the driver was very nice, and the price was not more expensive than taking Lyft. Thank you very much

The most important thing to remind you is that the hotel is located in Harlem, which is said to be a black community. You can check the security situation in the area online. I don't mean to discriminate against black people here. But the first night I arrived was around 7pm on the weekend. After getting off the bus, I felt that there were many people around the hotel and it was quite chaotic. The hotel reception was on the 5th floor. After checking the Internet in the room, I felt that I lived in the wrong place. I traveled by UBER in the next few days and didn't dare to take the subway. The hotel should be a high-end one nearby, and the Apollo Theater is next to it. I stayed for 5 or 6 days, but I didn't go around the hotel, so it's inconvenient to make too many comments. It's just that there are many black people outside the hotel, and beggars occasionally approached me. I didn't encounter any unpleasant things around the hotel.

The location is OK, close to Chelsea, or just in Chelsea. The view is good, with a night view of Manhattan. The room is also quite big. Walk around for a few minutes and you will be at the famous gallery of Chelsea, which is also close to the highline. It depends on where you want to go. All in all, it's good, I like it.

The room was clean and tidy, and from the 15th floor, we had views of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, and the White Pagoda. The service from Carlsong at check-in was incredibly warm and proactive; they even added us on WeChat to explain the hotel's facilities and services, especially highlighting the executive lounge on the 17th floor, which offers afternoon tea, evening snacks, and even bar service – it was truly excellent! Next time I stay, it definitely has to be the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel, especially since the National Art Museum station on Line 8 is right at the entrance.

The service was incredibly heartwarming. The front desk lady was super enthusiastic; she helped me with my luggage and even recommended some local restaurants – attention to detail, 10/10! They were always ready to help with anything, even lending out a phone charger, making my stay feel as comfortable as being at home! The service was thoughtful; they even gave me some snacks at check-out – I was truly touched. The staff proactively helped us call a taxi, which was incredibly helpful for families with young children! When I wanted hot water in the middle of the night, it was delivered within 5 minutes of my call – super efficient!

The hotel's decor, from the lobby to the rooms, really pays attention to detail and has a great sense of design. The ornaments in our suite also showed thoughtfulness. It was very spacious with a double-bathroom design, perfect for families, and the room layout was excellent, ensuring privacy. We especially appreciated the complimentary wooden souvenir key card, featuring the hotel's distinctive horse theme. Soundproofing was great, and cleanliness was high. My favorite part was the living room; it felt just like home. The male receptionist and the concierge staff were both very helpful.

The restaurant has a stylish design, but the variety of dishes wasn't very extensive, and options were limited. There weren't many Beijing-specific breakfast items, and there were very few staff members. The coffee machine was a bit of a mystery – it prompted you to pull something to confirm, but it wasn't actually necessary, and I had to ask someone nearby for help. Throughout our time in the restaurant, I only saw one roving server. However, having lemon chicken feet with bolognese in the morning was unexpectedly good – a perfect snack with a drink, haha!
