The Sheraton Grand Shanghai Pudong Riverside boasts a prime location on the east bank of the Huangpu River, captivating guests with its modern art aesthetic seamlessly blended with stunning river views. The rooms' panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the glittering Lujiazui skyline and the shimmering river surface like a painting, allowing you to exclusively enjoy the 'Magic City' night view spectacle from the comfort of your bed. The cleverly designed bathroom offers outside views, making the silhouettes of passing cruise ships and the glow of the morning sun private luxuries as you soak. The 6th-floor swimming pool is immaculately clean. On the first floor, the executive lounge discreetly defines a chic, urban-sophisticate lifestyle. With a well-equipped gym and smart room control system, the hotel ensures a seamless blend of business and leisure. It stands as a poetic haven on the city's waterfront and a superb lens through which to grasp the pulse of Pudong.

The room was clean, elegant, and inviting. With a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, the view from the 29th floor was fantastic. A clever design feature was a small ventilation window, allowing for fresh air without any safety concerns.
The service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive; Kathy was exceptionally helpful. Parking was very convenient: simply register once at the concierge desk, allowing free parking with unlimited in/out access for the duration of your stay.
The hotel is conveniently located at Exit 3 of Tangqiao Metro Station, which made getting around very easy. Additionally, it's less than a kilometer from the Riverside Greenway, making it very convenient for a run.

The room was excellent and offered a fantastic sea view. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel's ambiance was great, and the service was equally impressive. I'd like to give a special commendation to Devin Jia, who has assisted me with check-ins on several previous stays. His service attitude is outstanding, he's always smiling, and he makes every guest feel truly at home. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a delightful experience. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. My room was spacious and well-furnished, featuring a comfortable bed and a modern, spotless bathroom. The hotel offers excellent amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing spa. Dining options were diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing outstanding service throughout my stay. Overall, the Shanghai Jia Ding Sheraton Hotel is a great blend of comfort, service, and convenience, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Sheraton Pudong is my favorite hotel since the first time I set foot in Shanghai (2018), I just love the place and comfort here. Amazing place next to a Mall and Metro station, lovely and corteous staffs! Will always stay here everytime I come to Shanghai!

As a multi-generational family traveling with seniors and children, we chose the Sheraton Fengxian Baohua, hoping for a comfortable holiday. The hotel's hardware truly stood out – the spacious and grand public areas, generous room layouts, and excellent location (adjacent to Qingxi Ancient Town and Shanghai Fish) all laid a solid foundation for our trip. However, the 'soft services' during this stay were a major disappointment, starting strong but quickly deteriorating. The management shortcomings exposed during the peak holiday season were particularly regrettable.

**I. Positive Highlights: Robust Hardware, Heartfelt Frontline Service**

1.  **Excellent Hardware Facilities:**
    The hotel's overall decor is modern and elegant. The high-ceiling lobby design feels open and bright, guest rooms are spacious with good soundproofing, and the mattresses offer medium firmness, making them suitable for elderly guests. Its prime location is a significant advantage, with Qingxi Ancient Town within walking distance and attractions like Shanghai Fish and Fengxian Museum all within a 15-minute drive.

2.  **Heartwarming Support from Frontline Staff:**
    Despite frequent issues at the management level, our housekeeper, Auntie Duan Xiubi, was an absolute lifesaver. When we faced the predicament of no spare duvets (the front desk claimed, ”all spare bedding was used up”), she proactively intervened. She not only quickly found pillows and personally put on clean duvet covers but also thoughtfully told us, ”It's busy during the holidays, no need to rush, make sure you get some rest first,” and even wished us to ”have fun.” Her enthusiasm, resourcefulness, and sense of responsibility injected warmth into the stark management shortcomings, becoming the sole 'service highlight' of our stay.

**II. Negative Experience: Disorganized Management, Slow Service Response**

1.  **Chaotic Check-in Process, Excessive Communication Burden:**
    Our group arrived at 11:30 AM to discuss check-in time, clearly stating that ”the whole family would go out for lunch and return around 1:00 PM to check in.” However, upon our punctual return at 1:00 PM, only one of our three booked rooms was ready. Considering the holiday crowd, we proactively suggested, ”we'll gather in one room to rest first,” but this wait stretched to 2.5 hours. It wasn't until 3:30 PM, after multiple calls, that the remaining room cards were delivered by a robot, with no human providing any updates on the progress. The elderly and children grew tired from waiting in the cramped room, and the lobby sofa area was also full, offering no alternative resting spot. The experience was extremely poor.

2.  **Basic Services Missing, Superficial Emergency Handling:**
    Upon checking in, we found no spare duvets in the room. When we called the front desk, the response was, ”There are too many guests during the May Day holiday, all spare bedding has been used up.” Such a shortage of basic guest supplies indicates a serious miscalculation of holiday occupancy by the hotel. It was only after our persistence that Auntie Duan managed to arrange for a blanket (not standard bedding), while the front desk never proactively followed up or apologized.

3.  **Passive Management, Relying on Frontline Staff to ”Firefight”:**
    From check-in delays to supply shortages, the core problem stemmed from management's disorganized coordination: a lack of oversight on cleaning progress, insufficient guest supply reserves, and no emergency mechanisms in place. When faced with guest requests, the front desk merely robotically repeated ”please wait” and offered no solutions (such as prioritizing access to a lounge area or providing complimentary drinks), creating a stark contrast with the proactive efforts of the frontline staff.

**III. Summary and Recommendations**

If rated comprehensively as ”5/5 for hardware, 3/5 for service,” the hotel's solid foundation in hardware is certainly commendable. However, the service details proved to be a significant weakness, especially during peak occupancy, where management flaws directly exacerbated guest inconveniences, making it extremely unfriendly for multi-generational families with elderly and children.

**Suggested Improvements:**

1.  During holidays, optimize cleaning schedules in advance and display real-time room readiness status to minimize guests' unproductive waiting time.
2.  Stock sufficient basic guest supplies (e.g., duvets, cribs) to prevent passive situations where supplies run out.
3.  Management needs to proactively take responsibility for coordination, rather than leaving frontline staff to ”put out fires” alone. Basic compensation solutions (such as late check-out or dining discounts) could be offered to alleviate guest frustration.

Finally, a special thank you to Auntie Duan Xiubi. Her presence made us believe that if the hotel truly prioritizes supporting and training its frontline staff, the service experience would undoubtedly see a qualitative improvement. We hope management will listen to the voices from the ground and not allow heartwarming individual efforts to be undermined by disorganized management.

Our trip was really great! The hotel so clean and peaceful, the staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was beyond expectations. Our room was huge, very comfortable and above all very clean. The only downside was that the air quality was not that great, it was very dry and stuffy.
I would definitely recommend staying at the Sheraton for a nice tranquil stay in Chongming!

Perhaps this Sheraton use to be good in the past, but now this hotel only pretending to be 5star. Really rooms is fine, but everything needs repair, everywhere is cracks on the walls and dirty corners in the bathroom. Everyday housekeeping should clean better and wear glasses to see dust everywhere. 
One thing is good is clean beddings and comfortable bed so you may enjoy view to pool and sea side, which cost 100$. But is you go around this lovely swimming pool you will see a lot of cigarette ends, dust, rubbish and broken tiles on the floor, which is right time to repair. One more note about restaurant, we try some food like pizza etc., meal is with low quality and then later I got problem with stomach. Thanks Heaven there is nice faces on reception who thy to help me anytime. Big hello to managers of Sheraton who forgot to check rooms of hotel completely, before to sell your room hotel manager shoul know what they sell to clients.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were friendly.
It's a bit far from the tourist attractions, but there's a large shopping mall across the street, making it a convenient place to stay.
Breakfast, while limited in its selection of prepared dishes, offered a wide selection of cheeses, olives, dried fruit, nuts, and yogurt, making it a fun place to choose from.
Omelets were conveniently brought to the table when ordered.
Highly recommended for those who prefer the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Istanbul City Center. The staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly, making us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service attentive, and every interaction left us feeling valued. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul.

The location is incredibly convenient! Right outside Exit B of Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, you'll find the hotel. This was a lifesaver for someone like me who easily gets lost! It's quick and easy to get to the Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, and the high-speed train station.

The hotel definitely has a classic, 'old-money' charm. Initially, I thought the facilities might be a bit dated, but they are actually very well-maintained. Overall, the service was truly commendable. As soon as you approach the hotel, staff are there to help with your luggage, and the front desk handled things very smoothly. What truly impressed me was the exceptional daily housekeeping. Whether we were in the room or not, they would consistently come to replace disposable amenities and towels, and tidy up.

Another highlight for me was the heated swimming pool. We brought our child on this trip, and they went there every single day! Even though it was a bit chilly these past few days, the heated pool meant it didn't affect our enjoyment at all.

Overall, it's definitely worth recommending. It might not be the best fit for young people seeking the latest tech gadgets or a super modern feel, but it's very suitable for family trips or business travel.

Great and helpful staffs. The hotel is nice and extremely comfortable. The location is not too far from the Bell Tower, you can just book an e-hailing service with an average of about 12 yuan.

This time I stayed at Sheraton, and the experience was very good. First of all, the hotel facilities are very new. The exclusive room I stayed in is larger than the general room or even the executive room. When checking in, I met the staff Ms. Helen, who patiently introduced the differences and advantages of the hotel rooms to me. The processing speed was also very fast. After checking in, she tried her best to meet our accommodation needs, which was very nice. The room service staff Zhao Xiaoning was also very serious. He always cleaned the room every day and was friendly. Finally, I would like to praise Mr. Guo Jiabao, a hotel staff member. During the few days of stay, Mr. Guo greeted me with a smile every time, and I felt the real five-star service quality. Next time I have the opportunity to go to Xi'an again, I will choose this Sheraton.

Sheraton Xi'an really hit the spot! My room was super comfy and had a good view of the city. But the real star was Candy at the reception. She was super friendly and helped me out with everything from local tips to booking rides. Made my stay super smooth. The food was solid, especially the breakfast buffet. Overall, Sheraton Xi'an was a great stay. Highly recommend it if you're in town. Big shoutout to Candy for making my trip awesome!
