Everything is superb! Can enjoy their facilities including swimming pool, sauna, club at 26th floor. We bought the full board package, we can enjoy the afternoon tea, dinner, dessert, breakfast (can choose dine at club or Asia restaurant) and lunch before checkout , like they won't let us starving,  and the foods was satisfying also. This is what we need like a short escape within the city. Definitely will back again!

The location and cleanliness are good. However, there is no universal power point in the room, which is something Ritz rooms normally provide. Housekeeping service provided after we requested it. It would be more convenient if these could be improved.

Very attentive staff. They read our message that we came to hotel to celebrate our 10th year friendship. There were little touches of surprise during breakfast and dinner. Customised pancakes and chocolate ice cream! And even prepared a cake in hotel room and wishez written on the mirror. Incredibly touched! Not forgetting a mini gift (2 lion plush toys)when we checkout!  Room is big and expected of ritz Carlton, the classic bathtub by the window and tv. Cleanliness is top notch, highly recommend. Special mention to Pricilla. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable and checking on us.

The hotel is located in DIFC. While it appears close to Dubai Mall, it's not actually very convenient, as a taxi ride typically takes around 30 minutes each way. However, the hotel breakfast is excellent, and the service is superb.

It wasn’t just the opulent rooms, impeccable service, or the idyllic location on JBR. What made our family’s stay unforgettable were the small, seemingly invisible individuals, those who work behind the scenes yet create moments that leave a lasting impression.

Every day, our daughters were met with a new surprise, a thoughtful gesture, a warm smile, a little personal touch that made them feel special. 

These were not just hotel courtesies, they were heartfelt emotions that we felt deeply and carried home with us.

A heartfelt thank you to the team working tirelessly behind the scenes, those whose names may not be in the spotlight, but whose dedication turns a stay into something extraordinary. 

They may not hold grand titles, but with their hands and hearts, they craft an experience that transcends luxury, a feeling of genuine care and belonging.

The Ritz-Carlton Dubai was not just a hotel we stayed in. 

It was a place where we felt truly welcome, not just as guests, but as friends. 

And that is a feeling we will always treasure.

Neat, comfortable, safe, excellent location

I've never willingly given a hotel a perfect five-star rating, but this one deserves it. The location is absolutely fantastic, right above IFC and surrounded by major shopping malls. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Disney Store, the Oriental Pearl Tower, and the Bund.

Even though it's a 10-year-old hotel, you really have to stay here to understand just how incredibly well-maintained it is. The service is practically on-demand; they respond to almost any request incredibly quickly. While they don't automatically deliver takeout to your room, you can call concierge and they'll bring it up.

The hotel breakfast offers a good variety, and everything tastes delicious. 'Variety' is relative, of course – it can't compare to places that specialize solely in breakfast, but it's very good nonetheless.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any family or friends who need a place to stay in Shanghai.

Returned to Portman once again, and they custom-made my room key! Kerry from the main switchboard was incredibly thoughtful, following up every step of the way and even gave me stickers. The staff in the executive lounge were very professional, always observing our preferences. It was a wonderful experience, very kind and friendly towards seniors. Huge thanks to this classic hotel for their service ❤️❤️❤️

On another note, during lunch, I overheard some high-tier member complaining endlessly about the lounge food. Honestly... why bother? If you don't like it, just go somewhere else.
