Plus the 18-hole Tagalong Golf Course (located along the Red Cedar Lake shoreline) is only 7 miles from the cabin! Also, a great location for hiking with the Ice Age Hiking Trailhead being located only 3 miles from the cabin. Take your mountain bike a few miles north to the endless CAMBA off-road bike trails around the Hayward area.The winter months provide incredible ice fishing (Hemlock Lake is a hidden gem). Plus, hop on your snowmobile and cruise down the back yard across the lake and you have access to over 250 miles of the best snowmobile trails in the Midwest! Snow shoeing and cross-country skiing on the lake, and Christie Mountain Ski Resort is only 15 miles from our cabin where you can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing!We look forward to sharing our cabin with you!Guest access:- We have a touchscreen keypad lock for contact-less guest entry. - Parking is large enough for 3 or 4 vehicles.Other things to note:- New Dock with huge fishing platform, and two built-in benches, being installed Spring of 2024! Hop on your 4-wheeler and go explore!- Cellular service is poor at the cabin. We have Wi-Fi for email, messaging, FaceTime, and we have a landline in case of emergencies.- Shoreline at the end of the dock is murky and not great for swimming or jet skis. Because of the lily pads and water vegetation, it can be very difficult to get a jet ski (or jet propulsion boat) to the dock because the jet ski can get clogged up with lily pads / seaweed. Boats with propellers do not have this issue as they can power through the lily pads and seaweed by moving slow through the waters near the dock. - However, the lake water is crystal-clear and provides excellent swimming locations once you take out the boat and drop anchor in deeper water, or pull up to sandy shorelines all over the 3-lake chain.- Due to health allergies, no pets allowed.- Ring Doorbell camera located on the front door of the cabin.
