"How do I put this? It's a five-star review. The environment is a bit older, I guess. Room service was decent, but the restaurant service wasn't great – they seemed to treat guests differently depending on who they were. They also charged extra for children, but there wasn't any matching service for that. I asked about it as soon as we arrived, and there weren't any discounts either. Plus, when booking online, there were no packages that included children. The room itself was quite spacious. As for cleanliness, I can only say it was okay. On the first day, the sheets on one bed were torn, but after we reported it, they changed them the next day."

"The hotel has its own parking lot and is an established five-star property with complete facilities. The breakfast selection is quite extensive, and there's a swimming pool. We were also given complimentary fruit and pear soup. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!"

"You absolutely have to experience Datong's most beautiful hotel. And indeed, it lived up to expectations, incredibly photogenic.
Two Wyndham hotels share one building. To check in, head to Feng Lin Ge, where there's a giant pink diamond in front of the reception. That's where the scenic photo ops begin – every step is a new, fantastic photo opportunity.
The room was very comfortable, a stark contrast to the nightclub vibe of the public areas. Checking in also came with a great 100-60 voucher for Feng Lin Ge downstairs. The TV showed the menu and breakfast information, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast in the basement was pure Datong-style Dubai luxury. The dishes were comparable to what you'd find at weekend buffets in other hotels, featuring specialties from Feng Lin Ge, as well as steak and seafood. The best part was the array of beauty and wellness teas. After eating, you could easily spend a whole morning just taking pictures.
The only downsides are the lack of a gym and a swimming pool.
Getting to the ancient city requires a taxi, but thankfully, nothing is too far in Datong. It offers excellent value for money in winter."

Here, 24-hour butler service is available. The staff not only provide customized travel guides and hand-drawn food maps but also share stories of Datong's thousand-year history. Facilities including free parking and a laundry room are fully equipped.
Specialty restaurants like Foxiaoban Concept Store, Longjuxiang Shaomai, and Fenglinge are within easy walking distance. The courtyard's carved corridors and viewing terraces are perfect for photography. When night falls, lanterns on the eaves light up—you can listen to the bells of ancient temples and gaze at the starry sky over the ancient city, allowing you to touch the texture of history while enjoying a poetic and high-quality travel experience.
"We stayed at Fenglinju for a family trip. The two 1.35-meter-long beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. Most importantly, we were very satisfied with the service. The two young ladies at the front desk were very enthusiastic and gave us welcome fruits. Overall, we were very satisfied and would stay here again next time. We also recommend it to all our friends who come to visit."

"It started and ended with descending the mountain.
The aroma wafted from the entrance, instantly creating a positive impression. The facilities are absolutely top-notch, and the amenities are of very high quality. Turndown service and snacks/fruits were provided every night upon return; I was thoroughly taken care of.
Service Team: I believe guests choosing this resort hotel have high expectations. The management team is mature and decisive in handling issues. Breakfast and rooms are good, and the rooms are very clean. I took the time to try the fitness center, which was fantastic. It would be perfect if the shower lighting could be adjusted. The front desk team is relatively young and responsive, handling issues in a standard way, but they need to improve their smart talk skills, as they directly address various guest questions.
Other:
- Some rooms still had a noticeable smell of paint or renovation (I thought that after years of preparation, this wouldn't be a problem). For those sensitive to odors, it's recommended to communicate this before check-in;
- Due to the relatively high price of the lobby bar, it's suggested that some self-service tea and snacks be provided in the public area to add a touch of resort-style social interaction;
- The handheld iron in the wardrobe is convenient. The sofa and wooden coffee table next to the bed could perhaps be better arranged.
Thanks to the resort hotel for adjusting the check-out time according to our needs, ensuring a worry-free trip.

"The hotel is on the side of the main road, surrounded by wasteland or construction sites. Opening a B&B here feels like a paradise. Parking at the door is very convenient, and it is relatively close to Datong South Station and the ancient city.
Facilities: Basically complete.
Hygiene: Changing and washing of sheets is not as good as in hotels. There will be small marks after washing.
Environment: The surroundings are very quiet, with basically no noise pollution.
Service: The boss actively responds to needs.
The boss's blue cat often appears on the second floor, and it may get in when the door is opened."
