"I booked this hotel on Ctrip and it was excellent. Pros: Newly opened, beautifully decorated, everything is brand new. The standard room I booked was spacious, clean, and bright. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the shower water was excellent. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, with its own underground parking lot and a good breakfast buffet. Cons: The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center, requiring navigation, making dining inconvenient; takeout is available. Value for money: The room price is reasonable and the value is excellent. Recommendation: This hotel is perfect for road trips. You can even see the sunrise from your room in the morning."

"The room was nice and the shower had good water pressure. Outside the hotel, there's a local market where you can buy groceries, and there's a place to eat knife-cut noodles. It's only five kilometers to the city center, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel also has underground parking."

"I arrived in Datong on a whim and booked this hostel last minute. I stayed in the 12-bed dorm which is a large dorm with a small table and chairs, lockers, a sink to brush your teeth/wash your face and a private bathroom (with a hot water shower and toilet). The beds were comfy and have curtains and the airconditioning is strong. WiFi works well too. The dorm and the bathroom are cleaned every day. The hostel provides face towels, earplugs, toothbrushes and toilet paper. There is a comfortable lounge area just outside of the dorms. It is really a great hostel, but there is one negative aspect, the private bathroom: the glass is semi-see through (which isn’t too bad since there are just women in the room), but it lets through all the noise and light. So when somebody goes to the toilet and turns on the light the whole room lights up which even with the curtains closed will disturb your sleep. Also, the toilet flush is very loud so every time somebody flushes the toilet it can be heard through the entire room which again disturbs sleep. If you’re a deep sleeper or don’t mind wearing ear plugs then I can definitely recommend the hostel!"

There are many novel facilities that I used for the first time, such as a disposable liner kettle, a piano key shower switch, etc. And the chair is very comfortable to sit on, which improves the comfort of rest. Give it a five-star rating and I will choose it again next time I visit Datong."

The exquisite carvings and paintings exude a charming, antique atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, with separate wet and dry areas, electric curtains, and a smart toilet – super convenient! There's even background music, creating a wonderful ambiance! 🛏The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The quiet atmosphere at night allows for a good night's rest. 🍱The breakfast was incredibly plentiful, featuring fried dough sticks, steamed buns, wontons, and fragrant eight-treasure porridge, along with refreshing side dishes – perfect for starting the day full of energy! After a tiring afternoon of sightseeing, I returned to the guesthouse to find afternoon tea already prepared – the service was truly heartwarming. 👨👩👧👦The owners and their family are incredibly hospitable and helpful, making me feel right at home. They even gave me some Datong specialties before I left – a very thoughtful touch. 📍Convenient location with parking available. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and easy access to attractions. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Datong! Highly recommend it! 🌟"
