"I had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down. I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind. I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again."

"This is a warm and cozy hostel with a bar and pool table. Along the staircase there are pieces of artwork for you to pause and appreciate. There are also two cuddly cats to keep you company late an night if you prefer to spend time in the common area. The microwave is a life saver on those mornings during which you have to head out super early. Apart from the subway station which is a five minute walk from the hostel, there is actually a bus stop right in front with public buses taking you directly (no luggage scans! No line transfers!) to the People’s Square, Zhongshan Square, Russian Village and even the airport."

"The staff waited for me to arrive because my flight arrived at 11:15 pm and I arrived at the capsule hotel at 12:15 am. The temperature of the capsule rooms were just right. I love the free access to the bathhouse. The bathing facility is really clean and well maintained. I regretted not getting body scrub and massage and I should have explored the capsule hotel more. I think there is also a restaurant in the higher floors. Just take note that the bathing facility is open from 8 am to 12 am only. The subway station is near as well. As a foreigner who cannot speak nor read Chinese, I am very happy that there’s a McDonalds nearby. There are also nearby marts and Chinese franchise restaurants. My stay was very short so I wasn’t able to discover the other restaurants nearby. I would definitely book here again and I love the keychain that they gave me. The staff were really kind. There were some minor difficulties, such as difficulty of finding electric sockets and inside the capsule, the port was a USB A socket, but there was a phone charging station outside the rooms."

"Great hostel, great bar, great experience ! The hostel itself is very clean due to the lovely cleaning lady. It has a small kitchen and washing machine which is super useful. The bar has a good atmosphere with some nice craft beer too, as well as some events on certain nights. Oh and the cute cats make the hostel that much better!!!"

"My boyfriend and I visited Dalian and stumbled upon a hotel that offered amazing value for money. Its design is quite unique, and there's an open-air garden on the upper floor – perfect for enjoying the breeze and chatting with friends in the evening. The whole place was spotless. I'll definitely be back here for our next trip!"

"Meets my needs affordably and satisfactorily. Evaluation is relative to price/personal situation/needs. Not far from Taoyuan Metro Station, public transportation is also convenient. There are large shopping malls/markets and restaurants nearby. Participating in a large-scale long-term physical exertion outdoor activity, the starting and ending point is Fujiazhuang Park. It takes less than an hour to walk there. Considering that you may not be able to take a taxi at 4-5 o'clock in the morning (it is estimated that many people will take a taxi at the same time, and it is not ruled out that there are more than a thousand people), This is important to consider. The hotel close to Fujiazhuang Park can be accommodated according to my ID type, but the price is not of this level. I stayed for three nights, and when I made the reservation, I knew that I would be away all day on the second day. I couldn’t come back to sleep before completing the activities on the second night, and then I had to catch up on my sleep when I came back in the morning. This was my situation. The room I booked cost 68 yuan a night (with Ctrip's various discounts). It was very small, with only a little space outside the bed and bathroom, and no outside windows. But I spent a lot of time outside anyway, and I had to catch up on sleep in the dark during the day. The inconvenience is minor, and I'm happy for the cheap accommodation. In fact, people in different situations can book other room types. There is a small public space in the corridor, and I don't know if there is anything else."
