Prague Hostels

"I throughly enjoyed my stay here. It had a cost and homely feel. It started with a friendly check in experience. The two ladies were apologetic about the fact that the lift had malfunctioned and as I was staying 5 nights across a weekend (when not likely to get fixed quickly) they were rearranging the room to put me on a lower floor. The room had 3 bunk beds of wooden construction, enclosed on three sides with curtains. Inside the mattress was narrower than the platform, though the upside meant there was a ‘shelf’ the full length of bed on to which I could put many items (drinks, clothes, handbags etc). Hooks inside and outside the bed space. Individual lights and two power sockets. It feels very roomy , like your own living space. The room had shelving, under bed drawers big enough for carry on luggage (own padlock needed), table and chairs. Showers and toilets are in the corridor, my first thought that there was not enough but I never needed to wait as they were occupied. Hairdryer at sink. Kept clean. Each bed is provided with a small hand towel: I thought this was a great idea as it was sufficient to dry off and saved heavy use of my travel towel. Front entrance, corridors and rooms accessed by key card access. It felt like a safe place. I made frequent use of the self catering kitchen that was clean, modern and well equipped. There were plenty of storage boxes provided. There is a common area in front of reception. Beer and food available. Reliable WiFi. Location was very good. 10 min walk from the train station and drop off place of FlixBus. Vegan restaurant 10min walk. 5 min walk to Wenceslas square which has many shops and Christmas market food stalls. 10-15min walk to old town square with the astronomical clock and main Christmas market. With how busy the old town Centre is I am so glad to not be staying right in/next to it. I went to performances at the national theatre and Dvorak Hall and after evening performances felt safe walking back to the hostel. It is very easy to get around by walking or tram. If I go back to Prague, this is where I will stay."

"Lovely to stay there and in Praha :)). Praha is my fav city. U don't need to do a lot of efforts to take pics just take pics and gonna be masterpieces. Anyway, this hostel was nice and ppl who work there were so nice. Lovely. Thank u guys. Hope see u again :)♡ @Alexanderjinkim 솔직히 위치는 시티센터에서 조금 멀긴 하지만 프라하 대중교통이 굉장히 잘되어 있습니다. 거의 한국이랑 비슷하다고 보시면 되요. 거의 제시간에 오고 버스나 트램도 5분에 한대씩오고 놀랬어요. 숙소는 깔끔한 편이며, 직원들도 친절했어요. 일단 가격이 착해서 전 고민도 안하고 머물렀습니다 :) 프라하는 사랑이에요. 제가 이탈리아만 파서 ( 이탈리아만 약 1년 여행 ) 그렇지 항상 제 기준 1등 도시는 프라하입니다 ( 예쁘기도하고 가격도 착하고 음식도 맛있고 맥주는 말 할 필요도 없고 ). 그냥 사진 대충 찍어도 포스트카드 사진 바로 쌉가능. 프라하에서 좋은 추억 만드시길!♡ @Alexanderjinkim"

"In the city, the location is very good to all attractions within 10 minutes, very safe, the traffic is very convenient, the road is bright at night, the room is a bit old, not very modern, no air conditioning"

"This hostel is located right next to Charles Bridge. I stayed in a dormitory. The room was comfortable, and the kitchen with a microwave, kettle, and refrigerator, and the bathroom were clean! The only disappointing thing was that when I was relaxing in the bed I was shown, a person who had just returned from sightseeing got angry and said, ”That's my bed! Why are you sleeping there!?” I explained that the staff had just shown me to my bed, but they didn't seem to understand and we had a bit of a fight. I didn't want to sleep in someone else's bed either, but they got angry at me...I understand that it's a dormitory, so there are all kinds of things...But I explained the situation to the staff and they understood. I used up a lot of energy... If it weren't for that, I think I would have a comfortable stay."

"I chose this hostel because of its great location. Every night, we played drinking games in the old friend's space at the hostel, and the hostel also planned things like sightseeing tours, which I thought were very interesting. The only thing that bothered me was that there was no elevator and I had to climb a lot of stairs 😅"

"Super affordable and easy to get to for its price. Very friendly staff and very safe place to stay. don't expect too much since its a hostel but everything is what you needed for a few nights stay with your friends."

"I had the best time staying in Sophie’s Hostel. I came to Prague for the first time as a solo traveler and booked an all-female room. At check-in I was so surprised to see the staff greet me with a bunch of events and things to do in Prague. She gave me a customized Sophie’s Hostel Map of the city complete with recommendations. If you go to the hotel cafe, I highly recommend ordering the Chai Latte, it’s probably one of the best Chai Lattes I’ve ever had. On the night of my stay there were free pancakes which was amazing. The room is so clean, and I’m so impressed at the cleanliness of the bathroom. It felt like a luxury hostel. There was also a kitchen. I would stay again in this hostel the next time I am in Prague."

"This hostel offers excellent security. Guests need to tap their room card at the entrance before accessing the lobby. The lobby is very quiet, quite ideal for travellers who prefer a calm and comfortable place to rest rather than a social hostel. The washrooms are clean and spacious, although the showers don’t have hooks, which makes it a bit inconvenient to hang clothes or valuables brought inside. Hair dryers are available. Lockers are not card-operated. You will need to bring your own padlock or purchase one at the reception. The wheeled lockers are located under the bed, and pulling them out can be slightly noisy."

"An excellent experience! Toby's Hotel offers thoughtful and attentive service, with an elegant and cozy atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient. The staff are genuinely friendly, embodying true English hospitality, making you feel right at home. Highly recommended."

"Despite the fact that my flight to Prague was delayed and I arrived there only after 0 1.00 am, the hostel treated me with understanding and did not leave me outside (check-in until 23.00). The staff is very kind and polite. Each bed in my room had its own light and power outlet. I think this hostel is an excellent option for traveling."
