"This place has some pretty noticeable pros and cons. First off, the decor and overall environment are great, and the public areas are quite spacious. There are even tables and chairs outside the rooms for working or relaxing, and balconies for drying clothes. The location is excellent, but that also comes with some noise; you might hear car horns around 7 AM. Also, the hotel is connected to a bar, and you have to walk through it to get to your room, which was a bit confusing to find the first time. The front desk staff wasn't particularly warm, and they didn't offer all the necessary amenities during my first stay, so I had to ask for them. What's more, for this price, if it's not your first stay, they actually charge for toothpaste and toothbrushes – something I've never encountered before, as they're usually complimentary. The towels are also compressed disposable ones, not the standard sanitized kind, and they charge for them after the first use."

"The inn's decor has a very ethnic feel, and the high ceilings in the rooms give a great sense of space! The location is also excellent, right in the center of the ancient town, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's lively during the day but still very quiet at night for sleeping. The complimentary canned baked milk tea was also delicious. Breakfast consisted of a bowl of rice noodles, a piece of corn, a sweet potato, and an egg, which was just so-so. Breakfast isn't served until 8:40 AM, which is very inconvenient for travelers who need to leave early. This is something that I think needs improvement."

"This hotel was the best place we stayed during our trip to Yunnan during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays. Our itinerary was from Guangdong to Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in Kunming. When we returned to Kunming from Lijiang, we booked this hotel again without hesitation. The owner upgraded our two 1.2-meter beds to two 1.5-meter double beds, and even gave us two delicious mooncakes (it happened to be Mid-Autumn Festival that day) and some blessings. We were very grateful! Since this was our first time traveling to Yunnan, we had limited time and didn't get to experience it all. Next time we come to Kunming, we will definitely choose this hotel again because it's very convenient for getting around and eating. The subway and bus stops are right next to the hotel. The room, blankets, pillows, and sheets are clean and odor-free, and we can park for free in the garden. Most importantly, the owners are very kind. The owner's wife told me that the owner used to be a teacher, which explains why he seemed like a cultured person, and also like a government official. It's really great and deserves recognition and recommendation. I wish the owners great success in their business and a happy life!"

"Overall, the stay was highly satisfying and definitely worth recommending. We were initially drawn by the ethnic characteristics of the hotel when booking, and after checking in, we were truly impressed by the warm and professional service, well-equipped rooms, and convenient location. Given that we were traveling as a family with elderly members, the staff patiently helped us upgrade and adjust our room type until we were completely satisfied. The breakfast offered a nutritious and varied selection—the traditional pot milk tea comes highly recommended. The hotel also provides a complimentary ethnic photo experience, which aligns perfectly with its cultural theme. Its location is another advantage, within walking distance to several city attractions, and the lively atmosphere downstairs adds a touch of local charm, somewhat making up for the minor drawbacks of being housed in an older building (such as sharing the elevator with neighboring businesses). 整体住宿体验非常令人满意，非常值得推荐。最初预订时，是被酒店的民族特色所吸引；入住之后，则被工作人员热情专业的服务、舒适齐全的客房设施以及便利的地理位置深深打动。考虑到我们是一家老小出行，酒店员工不厌其烦地为我们升级并调整房型，直到我们完全满意。早餐选择丰富、营养均衡，特别推荐他们家的罐罐奶茶，味道十分地道。酒店还提供免费民族服饰拍照体验，与整体的民族特色主题非常契合。地理位置也是一大亮点，步行即可到达多个城市打卡点，楼下充满浓郁的生活气息，这也多少弥补了酒店所在老旧建筑带来的一些小遗憾（例如电梯需与周边商户共用）。"

"No wonder it was recommended by Anhui TV! And since China has 56 ethnic groups, and Yunnan has 26, there are 26 themed rooms representing each of those groups. It was a fantastic experience. The front desk service was very attentive, and checking in felt like coming home. The location near Sunac City is very convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again and recommend it to friends and family. I hope it continues to improve!"

"The guesthouse boasts an antique charm and is tastefully decorated. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast rice noodles. Additionally, parking was very convenient, located directly in front of the guesthouse. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!"

"The location of the inn is excellent, close to the scenic spot and within walking distance. Able to easily explore the surrounding natural beauty. Then, the environment of the inn is very pleasant, surrounded by green trees and fresh air, providing me with a peaceful and comfortable resting space. The guest room is well-equipped and the bedding is clean and comfortable, which ensures my sleep quality. It is very good. I will stay at this inn next time."

"It is our own fault but we did not realise that this was so far out of the city and at the entrance gate of a cultural Stockade. The host was helpful but there was a bit of an odour from the bathroom.  if your purpose to stay here is to see the cultural stock then this would be a good location but there are no restaurants nearby.  There was a nice view from our window of the lake and some beautiful traditional architecture to walk around and see in the area. "

"This stay was a perfect trip! I was amazed the moment I entered the B&B, and every photo I took was a blockbuster! The room was decorated very cozy, the bedding was soft and clean, and it was comfortable and healing to live in. The most heartwarming thing was the boss, who would help plan the tour route. We borrowed a lot of things from the boss, and the boss was very enthusiastic!
