Hotels near Matenadaran, Yerevan

We were stayed with the family (2 adults + a child), a two-seat deluxe. We were wonderfully met at registration and check-out, but at the check-out the guy constantly distracted and severely delayed us. The hotel 's design is generally in the style of ”expensive-rich,” chic mirror elevators, marble stairs, air perfume. The room is large and clean, one big king-size bed and in the second room two and a half, the view from the window to the quiet yard with some broken shed. But above them, Ararat is seen on the horizon! There is a desktop with a lamp and a magazine table with a sofa and a chair. Furniture is beautiful. The Internet is flying. There is a tea-coffee set with a polished water and a teapot. The refrigerator is empty. The safe is but not working. The beds are rough to horror, the pillows are liquid. Somewhere on the walls wallpapers are cut off. The roller is spacious, with the smell of whether the sink is eclipse or sewerage. On the wall opposite the jacuzzi, the electric heater is very dangerous! On the floor there is a broken tile, there is no towel hanger. Jacuzzi is broken, at the wall, black pelvic. The plume is not plumbed, water flows straight on the floor and pours everything around. In the shower, the floor slope is made in the opposite direction from the grid of the plum, so you stand constantly in the pond, in the doors of the cabin of the cleavage, through which the water is splashed out. The towel for the feet is a ripped white patch. Breakfast is abundant and delicious with a lot of choice. Tables are a lot, everything is beautifully served. Guests serve some unclear chunky young man in a stretched sweater. Tea spoons are not available. In general, the hotel is very tired and it is very negligent - paintings, mirrors and plates hang curve, carpet in the corridors is worn, some pieces of curve are replaced, wallpapers are broken. It is hard to estimate 3 stars. It is clearly necessary to repair and attention.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful and responsive staff. Simply excellent breakfasts. The room has everything you need, including toiletries, coffee, tea, and water. Cleaning is daily. This is our second stay. We also received a pleasant sweet surprise.

Excellent hotel))) A very unusual experience. The capsules are fully insulated, with ventilation, lighting, and USB ports for charging. There's a very nice coffee shop in the courtyard nearby))) Excellent and pleasant receptionists, Sergo and Rach, resolve all issues very quickly and efficiently. I'm so glad I stayed here 🫶🫶🫶

Exceptional value for money with great staff I had a wonderful stay here. The standout feature is definitely the staff—the front desk team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. For the price point, the facilities are exceptional and hard to beat. There are a few minor points to note: the building doesn't have an elevator, and there was a slight smell in the bathroom in the mornings. Also, you can sometimes hear noise from neighboring rooms. However, these were minor issues and didn't significantly impact my stay. Overall, it’s an amazing budget-friendly option and I highly recommend it.

If you get a good room, it's spacious, and considering the buffet breakfast included, it's a very reasonably priced hotel. It's also nice that they provide 1.5 liters of mineral water with each cleaning. One minor issue was the smell in the bathroom. There seemed to be dirt accumulating in the drain, and it smelled quite bad. Well, there's a door between the bathroom and the main bathroom area, so it's fine if you keep it closed while sleeping, but when you open the door in the morning, the accumulated odor is terrible. Also, the location is poor for sightseeing. Yerevan's public transport is very aggressive and completely unsuitable for tourists, so you'll mainly be getting around on foot or by taxi. I walked to the Cascades and the Opera House from the hotel every day, and it took almost an hour each way. The staff may not be the most friendly, but they are very sincere and helpful. On my first day, I noticed the lock on the balcony door was broken and told them, and they immediately brought out their tools and repaired it in about an hour or two (though the lock wouldn't open afterwards).

The hotel is in a great location in the city centre, within walking distance to tourist attractions and transport links. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and quickly resolved some minor issues I had. The room was reasonably comfortable, although the walls were very thin making it noisy. The cleaning service seems disorganised: I was only given a hand towel when I arrived that I think may have been used, and the cleaning staff barged into my room without knocking when I was on the toilet. Overall I think it's a good choice for short stays of one or two nights but I wouldn't want to stay longer.

I booked a room at Army Hostel when I realized it would be great to lie down and rest on a proper bed between flights. Pros: The location is fantastic! It's close to the Cascade and Republic Square. I also noticed a supermarket and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The bed was quite comfortable, the outlets worked, and the shower was clean. For the price, everything was decent. Keep in mind that the hostel is on the 5th floor, and you'll need to use the stairs. The men at the reception were welcoming; they calmly and kindly showed me everything and explained it all. No cons found.

Just checked in and wanted to leave my review now since tomorrow’s my last day in Yerevan and I’ll be busy. I booked one night through Trip.com — everything is exactly as described. The room is clean, cozy, and has some nice extras: a sofa that turns into a small bed, an extra cabinet, a bidet in the bathroom, and they even offered welcome tea and water. The bed mattress is super comfortable too, which I really appreciated. The staff are very welcoming and polite. There’s no elevator, but they’re happy to help with your bags and anything you need. The location might be a bit tricky to find the first time since the hotel is inside a residential block. But once you get there, it’s easy to reach again. Just look for the small road right after Armeconombank, follow it all the way to the end, and when you reach the backyard, look to your right — you’ll see the building. This review comes after changing many hotels over the past week — and honestly, this one stands out for its value, comfort, and service. Definitely booking again on my next trip to Armenia. وصلت لتوي وحبيت أكتب تقييمي من الآن لأن بكرة آخر يوم لي في يريفان وراح أكون مشغول. حجزت ليلة وحدة فقط عن طريق Trip.com، وكل شيء كان مثل ما هو موصوف بالضبط. الغرفة نظيفة ومريحة، وفيها تفاصيل جميلة مثل كنبة تتحول لسرير صغير، خزانة إضافية، وشطاف في الحمام. كمان قدموا لي شاي وماء ترحيبي، والمرتبة مريحة جدًا وهذا شيء مهم بالنسبة لي. الطاقم محترم ومتعاون جدًا، ما في مصعد في المبنى، لكن يساعدوك في حمل الشنط بدون تردد. الموقع شوي مربك أول مرة لأن الفندق داخل مجمع سكني، لكن بمجرد ما توصله، بتصير الأمور أسهل بعدين. فقط امشِ في الطريق الصغير اللي بعد Armeconombank مباشرة، وكمل للآخر، ولما توصل للباحة الخلفية، شوف على يمينك وراح تلاقي المبنى. أكتب هذا التقييم بعد تجربة وتغيير عدة فنادق خلال هذا الأسبوع، وبصراحة هذا الفندق كان من أفضلهم من ناحية الراحة والسعر والخدمة. أكيد راح أحجز فيه مرة ثانية إذا رجعت لأرمينيا

A very pleasant hotel, a nice space inside the building, there are cozy balconies with tables and chairs where you can sit warm evenings and enjoy the stars. Rooms are small but comfortable, there are all necessary, including air conditioners. Breakfasts always have fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and other dishes, so it is difficult to stay hungry. In general, the impression is positive. In the pedestrian accessibility is the Cascade.
