Hotels near Lucerne Train Station, Lucerne

This was the fifth hotel on my trip to Switzerland. It's two bus stops from the train station, but conveniently located right by the stop, so getting there wasn't an issue. The hotel clearly exudes a rich history and old-world charm, with its luxurious European-style decor. I had a bit of trouble initially finding the right entrance and the front desk within the building. I'd actually booked a city view room, but the front desk upgraded me to a stunning lake view room – seriously, you *must* book a lake view! The terrace views were absolutely breathtaking!! The room itself wasn't huge, but it did have air conditioning. The bathroom was a tad small, mainly due to a large, rather useless cabinet taking up unnecessary space.

The hotel room was spotless, and the bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable. I really appreciated the double lock for added security, and my individual capsule felt very private. The soundproofing was pretty decent too. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and providing excellent service all around. The hotel's central location is fantastic; it's just a three-bus-stop ride to the train station, and there's a Coop supermarket right next door. Having a microwave, kettle, and fridge was a huge plus – perfect for instant noodles and pre-made meals. The bathroom was spacious and private, complete with a hairdryer. The self check-in system was available in multiple languages, which was very convenient. All in all, a really great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lucerne, but what truly stood out was the amazing staff and their exceptional service. After I checked out, I realized I had accidentally left behind my little plushie elephant, which means a lot to me. The team kindly helped search for it, found it, and even arranged to send it to my next hotel, completely complimentary. I’m incredibly grateful to the staff for their prompt help, thoughtful follow-up, and genuine kindness throughout the whole process. Their willingness to go the extra mile really meant a lot to me. No kettle and the room was quite small, but the location is super central. It's really close to Lucerne's main attractions, so if location is a priority for you, this place is a good choice. Switzerland is notoriously expensive, and this area felt a bit rural for the price. I'd estimate a hotel of this caliber would probably cost around 200 RMB in China. There's no free parking, so you'll have to find a paid parking lot nearby.

It was a late check-in, so they left an envelope with instructions and keys for us. When I called reception, it turned out the manager spoke 6 languages, including Russian, and guided me through the check-in remotely. Special thanks to manager Bangin Salih for the prompt assistance with check-in and the attentive care for guests. It was a pleasure to feel such care and willingness to help in any situation. The quality of the bed linen was delightful, and the duvet and pillows felt like clouds 💔. The cleanliness, service, and especially the breakfast were beyond all praise 😍

Really was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. Comfortable clean rooms, clean towels, comfortable beds and duvets, super friendly front desk, and really great location. A special mention of the quality breakfast spread which I look forward every morning. Strongly recommended.

Great hostel that operates with hotel-style services. Just across the road, there's a Coop supermarket and plenty of food options nearby. The room was spacious, and it even had a large balcony with a table and chairs. Towels were changed daily, and the room was cleaned every day. The shower area came with shampoo and other amenities, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was all-you-can-eat and had everything you'd expect. Highly recommended!

The hotel was good and clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing was that there was no aircon and there was a heatwave. Luckily we caught the end of the heatwave and the fan sufficed - was not super comfortable but ok for a night as we had to leave super early.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is typical for an Ibis, meeting expectations. Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was great. The soundproofing is excellent; even though our room faced the street, it was very quiet. I'd recommend this for solo travelers or couples. A triple room would be a bit cramped, and you might bump your head on the top bunk if you're not careful. On the plus side, the location is fantastic with very convenient transportation. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it wasn't as good as I'd expected. The room was quite basic, like a rented apartment in China. The weather was hot and humid, and there was no air conditioning. I couldn't open the window because of the greenery outside and mosquitoes. It was also very noisy, with lots of primary school students staying there, which I found odd for a hostel. The front desk said they couldn't do anything about the noise or the mosquitoes, which was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, they did have lockers for luggage, which was good.
