The overall environment and service were great! The location is also fantastic – just 200 meters from the train station. It's super convenient for visiting Mount Rigi as the ferry terminal is right next door, and there's a Coop supermarket nearby too! Highly recommended! The hotel is a bit pricey, haha, but overall it was a really good stay.

Totally recommend it. The amenities are great, everything is cleaned regularly and its location is great. The capsules are what you need and it feels really safe since there is a code for the room of the capsules and another code for the capsule itself. The check in was smooth and the staff is really professional as well. Moreover, I would like to add that my passport was stolen and although originally I couldn’t obtain a refund, they decided to help me and change the dates so I could stay in the hostel. Lovely staff and lovely place. It was my first time in a hostel and I loved it

The location is good, close to the train station and most sightseeing places in Luzern. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the hotel is noise levels. There are many restaurants around with outdoor seating so you would hear people chatting all the way till 11 pm. 5AM in the morning there would be loud street cleaning trucks. There was one night some bar nearby had loud drunk people noise till 2AM. There's no AC in the room so you have to leave the window open and deal with all the noises.

Super clean and cozy. The breakfast is provided with no additional fee and it is a decent quality. City pass is provided via email in advance, so you can register it in your Apple Pay and ride any bus inside Lucerne city. You can take a 19 bus from the Luzern Bahnhof to arrive to the hostel. The hostel has a spacious public place where you can work/study or chill or have a meal by yourself. No towel is provided and you need to bring your own.

So I stayed dekat ibis Hotel Lucerne for 12 days 11 nights with my family and honestly I can say tempat ni sangat strategic. Bas jalan sikit je depan hotel, nak balik pun boleh naik bas, and train station pun dekat. Kami usually naik bas 2 stops terus sampai Luzern Bahnhof, memang senang gila nak bergerak. Location hotel ni betul-betul area tengah Tasik Luzern, and the view… cantik gila 😭✨ Kalau tak berkabus musim winter tu, MasyaAllah memang breathtaking. Boleh nampak gunung-ganang surrounding, and yes you can literally see the Alps, plus yang paling gah kat bandar tu mestilah Mount Pilatus 🏔️ Cuma satu je pasal Lucerne, halal food options memang tak banyak. Tapi no worries sebab my family memang selalu ke Zurich, Bern, and other places untuk makan, so still okay 👍 Hotel service memang top tier for our stay. Diorang bagi free train & bus tickets yang cover Zone 10 (Lucerne city only). Kami guna mostly dalam sehari je sebab most of our itinerary dah cover whole Switzerland, but still sangat helpful. Room pun luas gila, tak kecik langsung macam yang orang selalu expect dari ibis hehe 🤍 Overall memang recommended kalau stay lama kat Lucerne with family ✨🇨🇭

Our family of four stayed in two rooms for two nights. The rooms of our two parents-in-laws were clean and comfortable, but there were dozens of only moving insects and children on the wall of the bed in Room 103 of our two daughters. After complaining, it was New Year’s Eve. At night, the entire hotel room was full and the room could not be changed. The staff was very good. After informing the manager, there were only two plans. The first was to change the hotel, but it was almost 10 o’clock at that time. This plan was not feasible. In addition, the plan could only be changed tomorrow. So at that time, I had to go to bed after changing the sheets and quilts. The next day, my daughter reacted again. It was less than before, but there were still a few bugs, and the sleep was very poor. Before leaving the house early the next morning, the staff had changed a new room for the two women, and the new room was clean and hygienic. We are traveling by car, and the hotel parking lot is free and very convenient. For breakfast, don't have expectations. It is worthy of praise, because the staff is very friendly.

The room was clean and odor-free, and the location was convenient. Check-in was self-service as there's no front desk. It's about a 15-minute walk to the train station, or even quicker by taking just two stops on public transport. Overall, it was quite good. Can't think of anything else.

Everything worked out perfectly! Hotel in the heart of the city center. Check-in and check-out were very easy. I highly recommend it and would come back anytime. There's a parking garage nearby, just a 5-minute walk away. However, the daily rate of CHF 35 isn't exactly cheap.

Location was right beside the train station, making it easy to get in and out of the town. The main streets were also walkable, mostly within 20mins. It can get rather noisy at night due to the bar nearby, but the hotel did provide earplugs to help with the potential noise issue. There is no air-conditioning in the room we booked and we had to rely on the outside air, which was still rather cold so that was not a major issue. The lift is of the typical old European style, so travellers with huge luggage may find it inconvenient when taking the lift.

Facilities: Beyond expectations. Each room is named after a place in Switzerland, and the decor varies accordingly. The room was spacious with many windows, offering views of the train station, the bustling market, and snow-capped mountains in the distance. The corner space was very cozy, and the toilet and bathroom were large. Cleanliness: Very clean, with no overlooked spots. There was also a beautiful orchid in the room. Service: The front desk staff were exceptionally gentle and friendly. They proactively and thoughtfully explained how to access water and where to drink it. The mini-bar was free, and upon check-in, we were even given extra bottled mineral water in glass bottles. Environment: The location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the train station, so no worries about carrying heavy luggage. All major city attractions are within walking distance, and the surrounding neighborhood is very pleasant.
