The location is unbeatable. It is incredibly close to the Central Station, making arrivals and departures completely stress-free. Even better, it is within easy walking distance to most of the main sights and famous landmarks allowing exploring on foot possible. It's tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood giving me a great night's sleep. It's also just steps away from a vibrant local scene packed with fantastic eateries and cafes. The hotel operates on a self-service concept, from check-in to check-out, making the whole experience highly convenient and flexible. Inside, everything is super clean and modern—it’s clear that maintenance and housekeeping are held to an exceptionally high standard.

The hotel room and services were decent, but what really stood out was its location. As someone who relies on public transport, it was incredibly convenient. The hotel entrance is only about 100 meters from Platform 3 at the train station. When I traveled from Lucerne to Basel, I caught a train from Platform 3, and it was a breeze getting my 28-inch suitcase on board. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Lucerne.

I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lucerne, but what truly stood out was the amazing staff and their exceptional service. After I checked out, I realized I had accidentally left behind my little plushie elephant, which means a lot to me. The team kindly helped search for it, found it, and even arranged to send it to my next hotel, completely complimentary. I’m incredibly grateful to the staff for their prompt help, thoughtful follow-up, and genuine kindness throughout the whole process. Their willingness to go the extra mile really meant a lot to me. First off, the location isn't too far from Lucerne train station. We had a Swiss Pass, so we could take the bus for free. We rode one stop, got off, crossed a road, and turned left – super convenient! Many bus routes pass by, and Chapel Bridge is just a walk away. The hotel upgraded us to a deluxe double room, which was much larger. There was plenty of space for luggage, and it didn't feel cramped at all. The room was clean, and they provided two large bottles of water daily, which was enough for our needs. Everything was great, and the only reason I didn't give full marks was the extra tax charged, as others have mentioned. Initially, the front desk staff was polite. When I showed them my booking confirmation, pointing out that the tax on the order differed from what I actually paid, they looked at it for a while, then unhappily replied, 'I don't know.' I ended up contacting Ctrip customer service. They told me they'd contacted the hotel but couldn't negotiate. Finally, Ctrip customer service said they would compensate the difference with points, which arrived quickly – kudos to Ctrip! Many people have brought up this tax issue, and I'm not sure where the problem lies. Other hotels in Switzerland charged exactly what was stated on the booking. Only this hotel charged differently. Although it wasn't a lot of money, it felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, someone mentioned a 100 CHF deposit per day, which they indeed charged. When I checked out, I specifically asked when it would be refunded, and the front desk said the same day, which it was. In Lucerne, there's a Chinese restaurant called No. 8 that serves delicious Chinese food, completely authentic to domestic tastes. The owner is also very nice and polite.

Stayed here during my Switzerland trip and really enjoyed my experience! The location is honestly one of the best; right beside the train station and within walking distance to the lake, old town and many attractions, which made travelling around so convenient. After long day trips, it was nice being able to return to the hotel so easily. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a pleasant stay. The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great location and hassle-free stay!

Было позднее заселение, для нас оставили конверт с инструкцией и ключами, позвонив на ресепшен оказалось что менеджер говорит на 6 языках, в том числе и по русски, провел инструктаж удаленно. Отдельная благодарность менеджеру Bangin Salih за оперативную помощь с заселением и внимательное отношение к гостям. Было приятно чувствовать заботу и готовность помочь в любой ситуации. Очень порадовало качество постельного белья, а одеяло и подушки словно облако 💔 Чистота, сервис и особенно завтрак выше всех похвал 😍

Really was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. Comfortable clean rooms, clean towels, comfortable beds and duvets, super friendly front desk, and really great location. A special mention of the quality breakfast spread which I look forward every morning. Strongly recommended.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is typical for an Ibis, meeting expectations. Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was great. The soundproofing is excellent; even though our room faced the street, it was very quiet. I'd recommend this for solo travelers or couples. A triple room would be a bit cramped, and you might bump your head on the top bunk if you're not careful. On the plus side, the location is fantastic with very convenient transportation. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

This is a great hostel. It was a bit noisy because there were some kids on a study trip that day, but I booked a 20-bed dorm and only three girls checked in, so it was very quiet. The accommodation was also excellent. The location is a little far from Lucerne train station, but it's still within walking distance. The staff were all very good. Breakfast didn't have many options, but it was decent enough.

Very kind people willing to help you out with recommendations. The room is really clean and there’s enough space to have a comfortable stay! It’s pretty close to the station and with the free public transport you can easily ready the station too.
