Always lovely to be back. What makes it worthwhile is that the staff are friendly and very conscious of the guests. Many have been working here a long time so that really says a lot about the company. I got the room across from the park which is very nice when it’s blue skies! If you have food needs - do try the local places around the corner from different types of cuisines and also the other side of the cross roads. It was great to get a small fridge this time - but apparently you do need to ask for one if you are staying longer periods. They will bring it to you.

The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were all very nice, polite, and offered a lot of help. The cleaning staff were also very attentive, proactively asking if we needed anything. The hotel has a free laundry room. There are also umbrellas available at the entrance on the first floor, which is very thoughtful. The lobby offers various teas and a microwave, which is very convenient for heating food, especially for families with children. Environment: The overall environment was clean, hygienic, and comfortably decorated.

I want to express my special thanks to Ms. Amandawang at the front desk for her truly wonderful service during my stay. This was my first time staying here, and she patiently explained all the hotel facilities, including the gym and pool, during check-in. The overall hotel environment is excellent, and it's very close to Hongqiao Airport and the high-speed rail station. The room hygiene was very comforting; this old brand hotel certainly does a great job in that regard. I've already recommended it to my friends. It's definitely my top choice for business trips and travel. Thank you, Amanda!

I've stayed in many hotels for business trips and vacations, and most of them deserve five-star ratings, especially Mercure. This time, I came to Mercure Hongqiao Central with five-star expectations. Although there were fruit flies in the room and the shower drain smelled, I dealt with them myself and it didn't really affect my mood. That is, until I found out one of the elevators was broken. Waiting for the elevator felt like the morning rush hour in an office building during the week, and I even had to contend with the food delivery robots for space (the elevator still wasn't fixed after two days). Plus, I can't think of any high-rise hotel that only has two elevators. Additionally, I don't know if it's because my Ctrip membership level isn't high enough, but my request for a late checkout at 4 PM was told it would be charged. When I was a Huazhu Platinum member, it was never charged (in fact, there are only a few times a year I need to extend to 4 PM). They said I needed to re-activate my room card at the front desk after 12 PM, but after I had it swiped at the front desk, (and waited for the elevator for a long time) I still couldn't open the room door upstairs... My good impression was slowly worn away. Overall, this experience barely deserves three stars (I wouldn't have even remembered it if the hotel hadn't called afterward asking for a good review). Objectively, the view from the west-facing room was quite good. The golf course diagonally opposite was unobstructed, and there were no tall buildings opposite, so I wasn't afraid to leave the curtains open at night. I could also see planes taking off and landing at Hongqiao Airport. The location was also decent, with many dining options nearby, though it's quite far from the subway station.

The environment is quiet and luxurious, with picturesque garden views. The rooms are clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the service is warm and attentive, making it a top choice for business travelers. The hotel is also conveniently located near many great restaurants and easily accessible for getting around.

Having lived in China for 10 years previously, I have never stayed at local hotel groups. But I got tired of the fuss over me - more easy going as I get older. So I got surprised by this Ji group of hotels, staying at this location for the first time. Liked the place because it is near Xijiao Hong Qiao where I had lived before. Walking distance to minimarts, wide range of eateries, and also to a few new and modern shopping centers. Also close enough to two major subway lines. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bright and simple. Liked the way they focused on the environment - biodegradable slippers, bottled wash and shampoo.

Excellent stay! The room was clean and tidy, and the location was superb with easy access to transportation. The hotel facilities were complete, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and it was good value for money. I highly recommend it.

The surroundings are peaceful and pleasant. Convenient, free on-site parking is provided; just remember to use the hotel's private spaces and not the public parking outside. The front desk and floor staff are courteous and polite. The lobby offers several comfortable seating areas for guests to relax or meet. The rooms are clean, with effective air conditioning and spacious bathrooms equipped with a bidet toilet. The subway, bus stops, and a supermarket are all within a 15-minute walk.
