"On a Friday night, most 4-star hotels in Hong Kong are usually around a thousand [HKD], so getting the Regal for about five hundred [HKD] this time was really great value for a short weekend getaway. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, which is super convenient. It's also only about a 30 HKD taxi ride from the MTR station."

"This hotel offers great value for money and is very close to the Chinese University. We were upgraded from a standard twin room to a river-view twin, which had a fantastic view of the Sports Institute and the racecourse across the river. The front desk staff, especially the guy named Keith (I hope I got his name right), was incredibly friendly and helpful, even better than my experiences at Shangri-La and Explorer hotels. He was polite and patient. The bathroom was a little basic, but for Hong Kong, the overall value makes it perfectly acceptable. It was also nice that all the staff we encountered greeted us, which is a rare and pleasant surprise. Downstairs, there's a Mannings, McDonald's, and several convenience stores, making it super convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sha Tin."

"The room was indeed spacious: the wet and dry areas were separate, and there was a sofa, a desk, and plenty of hangers. The breakfast on the first floor offered a good variety, and the restaurant environment was also quite pleasant. The only inconvenience was that the laundry room required tokens which had to be exchanged at the front desk. It would be helpful if this information was provided during check-in or available in the room, saving guests an extra trip to the front desk."

"The room was very clean and spacious. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. Right outside the hotel's third floor, there are several large shopping malls selling everything you could need, plus many affordable dining options. I've stayed here several times, and you can even check in early. The surrounding area is also very nice for a walk."

"I booked this hotel for my daughter's summer program at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The hotel and CUHK are both conveniently located at University Station, and it's even within walking distance to the university. I reserved an executive sea view suite, which was quite spacious with lovely mountain and sea views – excellent value for money! While the dining on the fourth floor of the hotel is quite expensive, you can take a two-stop subway ride to the New World Shopping Mall for more affordable and diverse dining options."

"Excellent for business! The location is superb, within walking distance to the subway station. The room has a spacious desk, and the Wi-Fi is stable and fast – perfect for video conferences. I really appreciated the ample charging ports by the bed. The staff were professional and efficient; check-in and check-out both took less than 3 minutes. This is my top choice for business travel, absolutely no complaints."

"The hotel's luggage storage and shuttle service are very convenient. You can drop off your bags and head straight out to explore. There's a Mannings and a 7-Eleven right outside Kwai Hing MTR station where you wait for the shuttle, which is super handy for grabbing things on your way back to the hotel!!! There's no water in the hotel room!!!! You'll need to buy some at 7-Eleven before you head back. The staff in the basement are very friendly and greet you in the morning when you leave. The downsides are that the room isn't very soundproof, and the air conditioning makes noise when it's on. You can hear loud conversations and even screams from next door, but it didn't affect my sleep because I was usually so tired from exploring that I just crashed. The carpet in the room also had an odor; I'd occasionally catch a strange smell when I was lying near the bed. (The hotel doesn't provide power adapters, so you'll need to bring your own.)"

"I booked this hotel for a concert, but it's a bit of a walk to both Kai Tak and the MTR station. They do have a shuttle service to the high-speed rail station and Tsim Sha Tsui on the hour. Although the room was small, it was quite comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the surroundings of the hotel aren't great; it's in a residential area, and the local shops have poor service attitudes and close very early. If you're not going to Kai Tak, there's really nothing to do nearby."

"I chose this hotel through Trip.com because it was the closest option for visiting the nearby university with my daughter. However, upon arrival, I realized it's comparable to a self-run guesthouse or farmstay in mainland China. Despite being built in 2022, the cleanliness of the public areas looked quite poor. We stayed for three days and housekeeping never came; we had to maintain the room ourselves! On the other hand, the service was good. Any requests we had were promptly addressed over the phone, and the staff's attitude was very friendly."
