Hotels near Wenshan District, Taipei

I specifically chose a hotel near an MRT station for the marathon. This hotel is near Jingmei MRT station, just a 3-minute walk away. There are signs on the first floor, and the hotel is on the third floor. The counter on the third floor looked very elegant and upscale. Since I booked through Ctrip, I got the key and checked in immediately after confirming my ID. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the layout wasn't cold or impersonal when I stepped out of the elevator, but the air felt a bit stuffy. You need a card to press the elevator buttons. The room door lock is a traditional key type, so be careful to double-lock it before going to sleep or leaving the room. Regarding cleanliness, I found a leftover plastic straw sleeve; I hope they can improve on this aspect. The room itself was standard, with everything you'd expect. The only issue was that the TV remote didn't work. I contacted the front desk to check, but it still didn't work. However, I could manually turn it on by pressing the power button on the back. I don't sleep with the TV on, so it didn't bother me. I suggest the hotel provide a spare power button. There's a night market and convenience store within a 3-minute walk of the hotel, which is very convenient. Overall, I'd give it a 90 out of 100. If I participate in another race next year, I'd consider staying here!

Aside from a slight smell of smoke—despite being advertised as a smoke-free environment, the smell of smoke was still overwhelming!—everything else was really good. The breakfast was decent, with vegetables and fruit. I really liked the large bathroom in the room, and they even provided snacks and instant noodles, which was great value!

Had a fantastic stay! The room was incredibly spacious and bright, with a modern and comfortable design. The buffet and restaurant food was delicious, offering a wide variety of dishes. The location was also very convenient. Highly recommend staying here!

Upon arrival, the hotel's location initially struck me as a bit out of the way, but it turns out there are plenty of dining options less than a 5-minute walk away. The room itself was decent, but I'm unsure if it had just been occupied or if there was another reason, as it felt very humid upon entry, and the toilet paper in the bathroom was damp. This was quite a letdown.

You can explore Lehua Night Market in the evening, it's super close, right next door! It's only a 10-minute walk to Dingxi MRT Station, and there are also buses available. The hotel service and environment offer excellent value for money.

The location is great, very close to Gongguan and the Shuiyuan Market, which has tons of delicious food. The separate men's and women's restrooms are on the basement level, which had a bit of a musty, damp smell. The bed was nice and big. The hot water pressure was strong. They offer a simple toast breakfast every day. Overall, it's acceptable.

The location is Shenkeng, which is quite close to Shenkeng Old Street. It takes about 10 minutes by car. If Taipei people have nowhere to go, they can go there to relax and sometimes have unexpected feelings.

Traffic problem, far from Taipei Station, at least three MRT trains, although it is the opposite platform, it is always inconvenient, there are seven trains to Xiaobitan, only three shuttles per hour, busy time only four shuttles, inconvenient, but the hotel is very good, the waiter is very good!

This hostel is conveniently located near a bus stop and a U-bike station, right across from Linjiang Night Market. However, it's about 600-800 meters from Taipei 101/World Trade Center, Anhe, and Liuzhangli stations. The front desk is on the 12th floor, while rooms are on the 5th and 9th floors. The complimentary breakfast and 24-hour front desk service are definite pluses. Guests are required to change into indoor slippers upon entering the room, and the well-equipped common area is also a bonus. The bathroom facilities are quite basic, though. Overall, it's a good value-for-money hostel that I'd recommend.

I booked Zhongxin Business Hotel because of the national exams. The environment was clean and comfortable, and it was very close to the exam venue, only a 3-5 minute bike ride away. The hotel also offers luggage storage service. 👍🏻
