Hotels near Wujiaochang, Shanghai

There's too many negative things to say, I don't know if I can remember it all. First, the room is quite small for the price which is a bit higher than some hotels around the area. Second, you have to ask for amenities everyday (degradable towels, toothbrushes, etc). Third, I'm not sure if they clean the room? the bed seemed to always not be made. The space of the washing room is absurd, you can barely open the door and put in your clothes. Most importantly, I managed to find two live bugs, one on the bedroom floor and the other crawling on the bathroom sink. Since I booked for quite a long stay, I ended up cancelling the rest of the stay and got a refund for the unused nights. This has to be my worst experience from almost ten hotels during my China trip this month. The only ok thing was that the receptionist lady was nice. Still don't recmomend it though. If you can help it, I really wouldn't book this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located with a convenience store and subway station right next door. The ambiance is warm and elegant, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Both the front desk staff and housekeepers are very polite, and the cleanliness is impeccable down to the smallest details. The breakfast offers a rich variety, with delicious hot congee, side dishes, and freshly ground coffee. It was a very pleasant stay! Excellent 👍

Coming to Shanghai, I specifically chose the Pagoda Hotel (Fudan University, Shanghai Branch) that I've been eyeing for a while. I booked the Deluxe Family Twin Room for four people, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations! First of all, the hotel's location is fantastic! It's right in the Wujiaochang business district and KIC (Knowledge Innovation Community), next to University Road, which has a ton of trendy restaurants and cafes. In the evening, we went to a folk bar nearby, and it was a wonderful experience. It's also super close to Fudan University; we even took a walk on campus in the morning, which was lovely. Back in the room, it was incredibly spacious, absolutely not cramped for a family of four. There were two large beds, plus a tatami mat that could be used for sitting or lying down. We had tea and snacks on it during the day, and there was plenty of space to move around. The smart room control system was so convenient; a simple voice command could open or close the curtains and turn the lights on or off. Through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, we had an unobstructed view of Wujiaochang's city skyline, which was truly expansive. The hotel's service was also excellent. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the butler even asked about our accommodation preferences in advance. There's also a free self-service late-night snack bar after 9 PM, which was a pleasant surprise! The mini-bar was complimentary, and all the in-room amenities were well-stocked. Plus, food deliveries were brought up by a robot, which was both convenient and private. The hotel also has a gym and a laundry room, which is incredibly thoughtful for families with children, allowing us to wash and dry clothes anytime. Finally, a quick reminder: hotels in Shanghai typically don't proactively provide disposable toothbrushes, but you can always ask the front desk if you need one. However, this is a minor detail, and overall, this Pagoda is definitely worth recommending, especially for family trips – you can't go wrong with it!

My stay at Qingju was absolutely fantastic, definitely a five-star experience! 🌟 The hotel's overall environment is super clean and refreshing, with a simple yet modern design that feels very high-quality. The public areas are tidy and comfortable, and the room layout is well-planned. Every detail is meticulously maintained, and the cleanliness is exceptional. The bedding is clean and soft, and the bathroom is odor-free, making for a truly peaceful and comfortable stay. The staff's service is another huge plus; the front desk was warm and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick. They were responsive to my needs and their attitude was gentle and considerate, ensuring a superb experience throughout. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, a great mix of Chinese and Western options. Everything was fresh and delicious, with hot dishes, pastries, fruits, and drinks all available and tasting great – I was very satisfied. As part of the Qingju series, the quality is consistently excellent, offering incredible value for money. The pillows and duvet were incredibly comfortable. It's perfect for both business travelers and short trips. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, with both cleanliness and service being top-notch. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area and highly recommend it to everyone!

Highly recommended hotel! It's about an 11-12 minute walk from the Pulmonary Hospital, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient with Metro Line 18 nearby. The hotel offers a free breakfast. We extended our stay for another day and even received a complimentary upgrade. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. Highly, highly recommended!

I had a particularly satisfying stay this time! The hotel environment was clean and elegant, with smart home features throughout. The bedding was comfortable, and the room was spacious and cozy. The soundproofing and cleanliness were excellent, making for a very pleasant and reassuring stay. The staff were warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out efficient and hassle-free. They were also quick to respond to any needs, which was very thoughtful. A big plus was its proximity to the subway station and Hopson One shopping mall, making dining incredibly convenient with a wide variety of delicious and affordable food options. The overall experience was fantastic, making it my top choice for accommodation when traveling. Highly recommend to everyone!

My child had an exam at Tongji University nearby, so we stayed at this hotel again. It's very close to the university, just about a five-minute walk. This time, we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a suite by the front desk lady. The room was spacious and very quiet, so we had a great rest. The service was excellent and friendly, and ordering takeout was very convenient with many options. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic stay at the Atour Hotel Shanghai Wujiaochang Wanda Plaza. The location couldn't be more convenient—right next to Wanda Plaza and Wujiaochang, with easy access to metro lines and plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel itself has a lovely light luxury vibe—modern, stylish, and impeccably clean. Breakfast was a real highlight: a well-curated selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. From warm congee and dim sum to freshly brewed coffee and pastries, everything was delicious and thoughtfully replenished. The atmosphere in the dining area was warm and inviting. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the staff. Every team member I encountered was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional—always ready with a smile and eager to help. Whether at check-in or in the dining area, their service was seamless and heartfelt. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, style, and top-notch hospitality.
