"Quite a good value stay during the Christmas holiday season. The room was spacious and clean, with nothing really to complain about. However, the room lacked amenities, requiring us to request them separately from reception, which isn’t ideal for a hotel in this price range. On the plus side, this hotel is very convenient, easily accessible from Farringdon Station on the Elizabeth Line, making it a direct route to Heathrow."

"Really handy if you need to catch an early morning Eurostar as it’s a 5 minute walk from the hotel to Farringdon station. Self check-in via a screen in the lobby. Great for a night’s stay, no frills. Was given an accessible room even though I didn’t request one so not sure what the other rooms and bathrooms are like. Really didn’t enjoy the smell of the toiletries as I wanted to gag every time I used the hand soap when I washed my hands - so opted to use my own shower gel etc. Maybe some will like it but I didn’t. Otherwise like I said, good for a night if you have an early morning train to catch."

"My partner and I recently enjoyed a romantic stay at Montcalm Brewery, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Every detail contributed to making our stay feel special and luxurious. A very special thank you to Leeza at the front desk, who was truly exceptional throughout our stay. From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out, she was warm, professional, attentive, and always greeted us with a beautiful smile. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Her outstanding customer service made us feel genuinely welcome and valued throughout our stay. The room service breakfast was another highlight. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served with great care and attention to detail. It was the perfect way to start the day and added an extra touch of luxury to our romantic break. Leeza is a true asset to the hotel, and her dedication to providing exceptional guest service deserves special recognition. Thanks to her and the entire team, our stay was unforgettable. We cannot wait to return and would highly recommend Montcalm Brewery to anyone looking for a luxurious stay, outstanding hospitality, and a truly memorable experience. Thank you for making our stay so special. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A perfect romantic getaway with exceptional service and unforgettable hospitality."

"Stayed for two nights with my mom, and for the price, we were quite satisfied: 1. The bathroom shower was exceptionally clean, and the water heated up instantly. 2. When the hairdryer broke, I called the front desk and they immediately brought a new one up. 3. Since we stayed consecutive nights, the room was cleaned daily, and the water in the mini-fridge was replenished. The not-so-great points were that the air conditioning was too cold and difficult to adjust, and if you want to store luggage in advance, you need to message them the day before with your arrival time, otherwise the front desk might not be staffed."

"Pros: Great location, right next to UCL, a five-minute walk from Euston Station, and about a ten-minute walk from King's Cross Station. You can get there by bus, just get off at Russell Square. The British Museum is also within walking distance. There are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, which is very convenient. Cons: The facilities are old, and small rooms are common in London, so I won't dwell on that. The sink is incredibly small, only about 30 cm wide, which feels very cramped. My biggest complaint is that the window is as thin as paper; I've never seen such thin windows in the UK. It offers absolutely no sound insulation, and the street noise outside is enormous. The walls are also thin; you can clearly hear even the slightest movement from next door. No wonder the hotel doesn't provide any other disposable items, only two pairs of earplugs."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Great Budget-Friendly Stay Near VFS Global I stayed at Point A Hotel London Shoreditch during my visa application trip, and the location was very convenient. If you’re visiting VFS Global for visa-related work, this hotel is only a short distance away, making it a practical choice. We booked the room for £61 per night without breakfast, which felt like good value for London. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had a nice atmosphere. The lobby area was comfortable and welcoming, creating a good first impression. A special mention to Praveen at the front desk. He was very helpful, professional, and had a positive attitude throughout our stay. His friendly service made the experience even better. Our room was located in the underground level and was medium-sized. The lighting design gave the room a unique vibe, almost like a party-mode atmosphere. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The only downside was the lack of storage and workspace. There were no wardrobes and no table in the room, which may be inconvenient for longer stays or for travelers who need to work. Overall, this is a clean, affordable hotel with a great location and helpful staff. I would recommend it for short stays, especially if you’re visiting VFS Global or exploring the Shoreditch area."

"This was our last night in the UK, and our group booked one king room and two twin rooms. Finding hotels with twin rooms in Europe can be a challenge, so we appreciated that. This chain hotel has a modern design, is very clean, tidy, and quiet. The rooms come with a Nespresso machine, complimentary bottled water, a kettle, and a tea bar, along with thin disposable slippers. The room size isn't small by European standards, and the bathroom is quite spacious with a walk-in shower. The bed and bedding were also comfortable. The breakfast service was good, a semi-buffet with an à la carte option. While the variety wasn't extensive, it was generally sufficient. A unique touch was the room numbers, which were designed as clock faces with the hands indicating the room number. We checked in on a Friday, and the lobby offered complimentary champagne and fruit drinks. There's a bus stop right across the street from the hotel, making it very convenient to get to places like the British Museum and St. Paul's Cathedral."

"From check-in to check-out, every need was taken care of. The staff is top-notch and so friendly. They even supplied us some washing up liquid so my partner could try and take care of a stain on their clothing from dinner. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The common areas are lovely spaces to relax and have a drink."

"Great location, great stay, recommended. Thanks"

"This was the first hotel for our family's UK trip. After much deliberation, we chose this Holiday Inn Express which is quite close to the city center. The location is excellent, with easy access to the subway, buses, and trains. The hotel maintained the consistent quality of the Holiday Inn brand. We were also lucky enough to snag a group deal that included parking and some meals. A special thank you goes to Christina, a kind and patient lady who speaks Chinese. Due to the high demand for rooms on the weekend and our first-time use of a Ctrip hotel group coupon, the check-in process was a bit convoluted, but the final outcome was very satisfying. Our family left London happily to begin the next leg of our journey. BTW, we encountered many odd Indian guests; whether it was in the cramped elevator or at the popular breakfast buffet, they all exuded a strange confidence, as if they owned the place. I wonder who gave them that idea 🤔🤔🤔"
