I had a truly excellent experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their professionalism and friendliness made my stay feel very comfortable and stress-free. The environment is extremely safe and well-maintained, which gave me a strong sense of security throughout my visit. Everything in and around the building felt very orderly and well-managed. Cleanliness was outstanding — my room and all common areas were spotless and clearly well taken care of on a regular basis. It is obvious that a high standard of hygiene is a priority here. Overall, I was very impressed with how helpful the staff were, how safe the area felt, and how clean and well-kept everything was. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.

Cchristiatheo 2026.04.09
My stay at Novotel London Canary Wharf was overall very solid, with a few standout moments that made it memorable. The first thing that struck me was the hotel’s modern feel. Everything from the reception area to the corridors had a clean, stylish look. Check-in was quick, and the staff were polite and professional, though not overly personal. It felt efficient rather than warm—but still perfectly pleasant. The room itself was comfortable and well thought out. The bed was great for a good night’s sleep, and the blackout curtains worked really well—ideal if you want to fully rest after a busy day. The room wasn’t huge, but it made smart use of space, and everything felt practical. The view was definitely a highlight, especially if you’re on a higher floor—you get a great look at the surrounding Canary Wharf skyline. Facilities were another plus. The gym was well-equipped for a hotel, and the swimming pool was a nice bonus, especially for unwinding in the evening. However, it can get a bit busy at peak times, which slightly takes away from the relaxing vibe. The rooftop bar is probably the hotel’s best feature. The views are genuinely impressive, and it has a more premium feel compared to the rest of the hotel. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s expected given the location and setting. Location-wise, it’s ideal if you’re staying in Canary Wharf for work or prefer a quieter part of London. It’s not as lively as central areas like Soho or Shoreditch, but transport links are excellent, so getting around isn’t an issue. On the downside, the lifts were occasionally slow, especially during busy hours, and the breakfast area could feel crowded. The breakfast itself was decent, though not particularly memorable. Overall, Novotel London Canary Wharf offers a reliable, comfortable stay with great views and solid amenities. It may not feel ultra-luxurious, but it delivers good value and a pleasant experience in one of London’s most modern districts.

Good location. DLR less than 5 min walk away and 4 stops away from Canary Wharf (10 mins) or 20min ish walk. Facilities are great, really nice pool cinema room etc. view from 15th floor was really good. Apartment unfortunately let it down - there is no A/C (we knew this before booking but did regret it a bit as it ended up being 24c) would be nice if the rooms had fans. There is also nothing provided in the kitchen, just a kettle and mugs you have to ask for everything, I understand why they do this it just put us off cooking anything as we would’ve had to gone downstairs to ask. Another thing to note is it’s tinyyyy (again we could see that before booking) but hadn’t quite realised how small- it’s definitely more suited for one person and gives more student accommodation vibes than hotel, our apartment was run down in a few places. There isn’t really any photos online of the bathrooms but the shower again is very small- can just about fit one small person. We were given one toilet roll and had to ask reception for more, to which they had to send someone to our apartment for. Also to note- No matter what size apartment you get the beds are all the same size (small double) so just bare that in mind if you’re tall or like to spread out. Overall the stay was good, the price I think was fair for the quality of apartment. I’d stay here again in the winter if the price was right. It could just make some improvements.

I highly recommend this place for group travel! It's a family-style accommodation that not only comes with a bar, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge, but also a washing machine! There are two rooms, with an en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom and another one outside, so no one has to crowd together when showering – super awesome! 👍 The most charming aspect is that both the rooms and the living room have balconies, offering fantastic views. We would sit in the living room for breakfast every morning and also for meals and chats in the evenings. This is my favorite accommodation from my month-long trip. It's conveniently located, has supermarkets nearby (Tesco and an Asian supermarket), the area feels pretty safe, and the front desk staff are very friendly. If I visit London again, I would definitely choose to stay here!

The apartment we stayed in at Marlin Canary Wharf was fantastic, the check in/ check out process was easy and the staff were lovely. There was 4 of us travelling from Wales and the apartment was a lot more spacious than we thought which was a nice surprise, it was also very clean and modern! It was a 15 minute walk to the Canary Wharf station or a short Uber ride making it easy to travel to the O2 for the concert we was attending, would highly recommend ☺️

We stayed one night for a weekend in Canary Wharf. The. hotel was stylish and clean and seemed quite new and not worn  at all. Check-in took longer than I expected and wanted with staff that were a bit distracted. Room was lovely, small but adequate and nicely styled with great bathroom, bedding and pillows. When I tried to purchase breakfast items for in-room diy breakfast the choice was very limited and had not been re-stocked at 9:30am so no yogurt pots - which were back in stock later in the day at 5pm?!  Bag drop and retrieval later was OK but slow, slow. All sort of minor issues but they added up to a slightly dissappointred overall experience.

It’s my first time staying at this hotel. Nicole welcomed me warmly when I arrived to check in. After I mentioned that I came here to see the Hunger Games show as my bday treat, she was very nice and also gave me a box of chocolate to say happy birthday (thank you very very much Nicole!) The room is nice and I really liked that the pool and other amenities are included in the room booking - would recommend for its location and the service.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed at the Wilde Aparthotel Aldgate Tower Bridge for two nights at the end of August and had a rather underwhelming experience. We expected more from this hotel, judging by its ratings online. As Coldplay was in town (our reason for visiting London), prices were higher than average. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Aldgate East and about eight minutes from Aldgate Station. Liverpool Street Station is technically in walkable distance aswell, though taking the bus there is easier, with a stop right in front of the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend walking to Whitechapel for the Elizabeth Line – the walk felt long, annoying, and unsafe. Also, avoid walking further down the road toward McDonald’s after dark – sketchy atmosphere, and we saw two police scenes within those five mins of walking. Walking to Aldgate or Liverpool Street is safer. The arrival was.. odd. No one greeted us, and we waited in the lobby for several minutes before someone finally helped us at a not-so-clean high table. The staff member seemed demotivated and spoke very quietly, though check-in was quick. Unfortunately, we were charged twice despite prepaying nearly a year earlier through a third party. This was resolved after I spoke with the manager, but I was surprised it was marked as a “user error” on our invoice, and no small gesture like waiving the early check-in fee was offered for the inconvenience. We were given a room on the 9th floor. The corridors are dim, with black walls and stuffy air despite it being just 22 degrees outside. The “triple room” is simply too small for three adults. The storage areas under the twin beds is smart, and there is a small wardrobe with two drawers, but oddly no safe to store your valuables. A table and chair cramped the room unnecessarily and looked cheap compared to the rest. The sofa bed was decent but had a pretty thin mattress and annoying metal railings that can be a little annoying when standing up / lying down; there was also no nightstand, only a photo shelf right above it where you really can’t put anything. The kitchen area becomes very narrow once the sofa bed is pulled out. The fridge and sink were great, but the bins were tiny and filled up after just one day. The bathroom was also cramped, with practically no counter space. No toothbrush cups, Q-tips, or cotton pads were provided – unusual for a 4-star property. The soap dispenser was nearly empty and even fell out of its holder, and none of the dispensers were secured/locked, which isn’t hygienic (most hotels have that nowadays, for a reason!). We didn’t know where to go with dirty towels as there was no designated spot for them and no space. The heated towel holder being *right* next to the toilet is weird and inconvenient. We had the AC running for hours & hours on end, yet it barely managed to cool down the room to an acceptable temp. At least it was quiet enough to keep on at night. The TV had few channels but casting worked very well. Light controls were fine, and the blackout blinds were excellent– also essential, since the windows aren’t tinted from the outside. On the positive side, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night despite the hotel being full. We skipped breakfast as there are better options near Liverpool Street Station that we wanted to try out. All in all, our first ever stay at a Wilde property was just okay. The location is central but not particularly the nicest, the staff lacked warmth, and the triple room was way too small for three adults. It should not be sold as a triple for three adults and would be better suited for parents with a small child. I imagine the higher room categories might do a better job of accommodating three adults. We had what we needed; a clean room with good public transport connections. However, we wouldn’t stay here again as there’s better options out there.

GGuest UserAmazing location, amazing service. It was my birthday and the room was decorated beautifully with complimentary drink and chocolate. Could not have asked for more. The only negative was the room was extremely hot which made is very uncomfortable to sleep. On the second night spoke to front desk and they advised to turn all air con/heating off and brought us a fan up so the second night slept like a baby in very comfortable beds. The pool area was beautiful but u fortunately we ran out of time but when we have another stay at the beautiful hotel we will certainly visit it.

GGuest UserDelux - NOT After booking apprehensive about traffic noise from the busy main road. Nothing got through the sound-proofed windows, except the occasional sirens. So far so good. Even though I set the air circulation on, set it down to its lowest setting of 17C, nothing changed and the room remained all stay uncomfortable and warm. The raised bedroom was even hotter so I had to sleep without any duvet., The worst was the size of the room. There was 150cm x 180cm rectangle where you might just swing a cat, with 2P sofa to one longside and a 40cm shelf table to the other, full of the welcome kit, no room to put anywhere else and no room for you to use. Al the other floorspae was =taken up by access. Yes there was a small cupboard for clothes for maybe a couple of nights, not even room to put a suitcase. The bed platform was even worse with just a narrow 30cm passage to either side. Then there was the spiral steps up to the bed platform, steep and very narrow probably 40cm widew, inaccessible should you have a wide girth or are not agile. Yes the breakfast and items across all the expected breakfast buffet range, but uninspired quality, powered scrambled egg, no fried egg, didnt ask for a boiled egg, so disenchanted with the whole deal. Before parting with any money make sure that you get a copy of the floor plans there are several odd and small sized rooms, then make sure your room is not either 103 wew were unfortunate to get or its twin 106. Otherwise the interior was clean, modern still reasonably fresh and the staff responsive. Just our room, sold as delux was not, even if you did not want to swing a cat, not even for if sold as a single.

LLiyaniuThe room was incredibly small! I couldn't believe how tiny 10 square meters felt. I was genuinely shocked when I opened the door. It was even difficult to open my luggage. The table was pathetically small, and there wasn't even a chair. Storage space was extremely limited. The bathroom was even tinier, comparable to an airplane lavatory. Overall, my stay was very uncomfortable. The only positives were the comfortable bed and the breakfast, which at least offered some variety. After a difficult two nights, I decisively moved to the Hilton across the street, and the experience was significantly better. What baffles me is that this place was even more expensive than the Hilton. On the whole, dining and getting around were very convenient, with various UCL colleges in the vicinity. There's a Nero Cafe right next door, so if you don't want the hotel breakfast, you can grab something there. Heading south down the street, you'll find quite a few Chinese restaurants, which is very handy.

SSuiyuehaojingThe price was reasonable and the location was great. It's about an 8-minute walk to a large Westfield shopping center, so food options were plentiful. Access to trains, subways, and buses was also convenient. The only downside was the poor soundproofing – I could clearly hear footsteps and conversations from the hallway. One night, I was even startled by a sudden banging and door opening, and when I asked the front desk about it, I didn't get any response.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in room 302 in March 2026 for 1 night. I chose this hotel because I stayed there before and I was very impressed. This time I was given the same room again, I liked the room. It has a large comfy bed and a nice clean bathroom. The breakfast was really good as I like vegetables and they do great omelettes and fresh vegetables. The reception staff are very kind and helpful during my visit and remembered me from the last time I stayed. The hotel is in very easy access to the underground. On this visit the Elizabeth line was closed and I had to get a bus to agents Hill. This was very easy. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel including an all you can eat from £11.99. I always have a good Stay at this hotel. There is a kettle with plenty of T and coffee. Some people staying on my floor were very noisy but that was all I can criticise really as it wasn’t the hotels fault. Very kind staff. There is a decent TV in the room and plenty of towels. During this trip and overnight stay I visited the Ramses exhibition at Battersea and images are included in this feedback. A good hotel to stay in that’s great value just outside central London about 20 mins on train.

GGuest UserIt is a proper old-style purpose-built hotel, with 12 floors, large lobby and corridors and other relaxation, dining (Chinese restaurant, Irish pub, café) and entertainment areas (tea room), many lifts. The Superior room (an upgrade offered by reception from Stabdard for £10) was spacious and had nice panoramic views towards Albert Hall and BT tower. It was, however, on the train track facing side of the building. The tube may be audible from lower rooms, and such rooms probably have the view obstructed by surrounding tower buildings, but on the 9th floor the train noise was not intrusive, and trains do not run at night. It may also be down to the external soundproofing. The internal soundproofing is not as good, in fact around midnight I could hear a group talk and laugh. I used a higher air conditioning volume for white noise and it was not a massive problem. The bathroom could be revamped (the grout could be revived, silicone reapplied), but there was nothing to detract from the overall enjoyable experience. Good shower pressure and temperature, toiletries included conditioner. Convenient USB port for charging.

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is great- just a 5 minute walk from Paddington which in turn is just two stops on the Tube from the west end. You are also less than a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Kensington Park. Service at reception and in the restaurant was excellent. The continental breakfast is really good with a wide choice that includes boiled eggs, cold meats and cheese. The rooms are spotless in terms of cleanliness but be aware that if you wake up just before 9 and want a shower the water may not be hot due to wider use but at other times is hot.
