The hotel provides complimentary pick-up (with a sign held at the exit gate) and drop-off service at the station. The front desk staff can communicate in Chinese, so there are no language barriers. There's a swimming pool, and breakfast consists of Lao noodles and simple pastries. They also provide complimentary snacks, water, and drinks. Wi-Fi is available, and the TV offers two CCTV channels, other Lao, Thai, and English channels, and also supports screen mirroring. While the room facilities are a bit old, they are still functional. Local SIM cards are available for purchase, and the hotel can arrange private car hire to places like Kuang Si Falls. The private car driver was very friendly."

"The rooms were clean and fully equipped. The ambiance, both inside and out, matched the pictures perfectly, and there was no cigarette smell. The front desk staff were lovely. You can easily walk around to explore Luang Prabang as the location is very central."

"My stay here was not great but at the same time, not terrible. I think the property would benefit from some maintenance, upgrading, and more thorough cleaning. The room was functional and AC worked fine, but there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The walls could do with repainting, and I found dust and cobwebs in parts of the room, which made it feel like housekeeping standards could be improved. One of the biggest drawbacks was how thin the walls are. Noise travels very easily, and I could hear almost everything happening in the neighbouring rooms, including conversations, showers running, and toilets flushing. This made it difficult to relax fully at times. There was also a noticeable gap around the door, which meant insects could get into the room. I could actually see mosquitoes coming through the gap at times, which was frustrating and made it harder to keep them out. Communication could also be challenging on occasion due to the language barrier. While this is understandable in a non-English-speaking country, it sometimes made things less straightforward. Thankfully, Google Translate helped bridge the gap. My booking included breakfast, which was somewhat disappointing. On the day I managed to have breakfast at the hotel, there was no choice or variety available. The meal consisted of a bowl of noodle soup and a boiled egg, with no alternative options or buffet selection. That said, my stay wasn't terrible, and the hotel served its purpose for somewhere to sleep."

"This was my second time in Luang Prabang, and I only stayed two nights before heading to Vang Vieng. Overall, it was pretty good. The location is excellent, right on the 'foreigner street' and next to the night market. It's also great value for money. The only minor downside was that the water heater in the room consistently stayed below 30 degrees Celsius, so the water was quite cool. The smart toilet was a bonus, but it's positioned directly in front of the mirror, so it would activate and flush itself while I was washing up, sometimes splashing water... Hence, I rated the facilities 4.5 stars, but everything else gets a perfect score! 💯"

"This guesthouse is designed with a focus on preserving Laotian culture. It's located on the street where monks pass by, and you can ask the staff to prepare offerings for the morning alms giving. They provide mats, sticky rice, snacks, and a traditional sabai sash. The staff is available 24/7. In the evening, there's a walking street just five steps from the accommodation. The location is truly excellent. I regret forgetting to take photos of the room inside, but it was wonderful."

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. You can enjoy breakfast while overlooking the river. You have to take off your shoes inside the hotel, so bringing slippers is recommended. It's a bit far from the city center, but it's a nice distance if you consider it a walk, and it was no problem at all with an e-bike. In the early morning, you can also observe alms rounds on the main street right outside the hotel."

"This hotel, 'Xiao Er Lou,' is not far from Foreigner Street, about a 15-minute walk, making it quite convenient for getting around. Right next to the hotel is Atsalin Restaurant, a popular spot online, though in China, it would really just be considered a street food stall. I didn't find the taste as good as online reviews suggested, but it's perfectly fine for a quick meal, and it offers great value for money – you can fill up for around 15-20 RMB per person. The hotel has a swimming pool, which isn't large, but comes with towels and lounge chairs. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and à la carte, and overall, it's quite substantial. Most of the front desk staff don't speak Chinese, so if your English isn't strong, you'll need a translation app. Housekeeping will clean your room if you hang the 'make up room' sign on your door; if not, they won't, which seems to be the norm abroad, respecting guest privacy. If I come back, I'd probably choose this hotel again."

"First, the pros: Excellent location in the Old Town, right by the Mekong River. Breakfast is included at the cafe on the ground floor, with 1 of 6 options to choose from. Lovely tree-lined views from the second-floor suite. The reception staff are caring and helpful, assisting with luggage and allowing an early check-in; always polite and smiling. Cons: The cleaning was very poor. All surfaces were dusty, there were sticky marks on the table, dirt on the sofa, and I won't even mention the floor (the last photo shows a wipe I used to clean the table). I'm not a fan of reusable slippers; who wore them before me is unknown. So, you either wear someone else's slippers or walk barefoot on a dirty floor. The windows face the road, so it's incredibly noisy; you can only sleep with earplugs. There's also significant noise when staff clean or take out trash in the hallway. The room was always dark, like a cave. The shower room wasn't pleasant either, also poorly cleaned. As far as I know, the hotel is quite new, having opened last year, but it's poorly maintained. The prices are inflated. I wouldn't choose this hotel a second time."
