I recently stayed at Eastin Hotel Penang, and unfortunately, the experience did not fully meet my expectations. The room felt quite outdated and was too cramped for two adults and one toddler. There was very limited space to move around comfortably, especially with luggage and a child. It did not feel suitable for a small family stay. The toilet appeared poorly maintained, with visible mold on the walls, making it look dirty and unpleasant. The wardrobe design was also unsettling it was an open wardrobe without doors located right next to the bed. When the lights were off and clothes were hanging inside, it felt quite eerie. Drinking water was limited to six small bottles per day, and toiletries were provided in minimal quantities. The pillows seemed old and flat, and were not comfortable to sleep on. Unlike other hotels that provide soft, fluffy pillows, these felt worn out and affected the quality of sleep. Breakfast service was another disappointment. Some staff at the egg station had difficulty understanding simple English instructions. When I asked for sunny side up eggs, I was served an omelette instead. When I requested a well-done, fully cooked egg for my child, the staff again seemed unable to understand, which was frustrating. On a positive note, the hotel’s location is convenient. It is only about a 3–4 minute walk to Queensbay Mall, making shopping and dining very accessible. It is also approximately 10–15 minutes’ drive to Penang International Airport and close to the Penang Bridge, which is convenient for travelers. Overall, the stay was disappointing in terms of room condition, comfort, and service quality. I hope the hotel can improve its maintenance standards and staff training to provide a better experience for future guests.

Corum View hotel is very convenient. Walkable to sunshine and lots of eatery. Opposite giant. Our room was without a window so the air was a little stale. The toiler flush was not fantastic. The bed is a little too soft for me. Other than that service was great, location was grear

The location is very convenient to access to convenience stores and eaters. However the cleanliness and exhaust ventilation of the hotel need to be improved and at least one receptionist should be around and not ask customer to call upon check-in or check-out

I was very satisfied with my overall experience at this hotel! First and foremost, the most convenient aspect was the airport transfer service. The driver was punctual and friendly, making the journey from the airport to the hotel very smooth. I didn't have to worry about transportation or getting lost at all. This service is truly thoughtful, especially for first-time visitors to the city. The hotel's hygiene was also quite impressive. Whether it was the lobby, elevators, or inside the rooms, everything was meticulously cleaned, and the air was fresh with no unpleasant odors. The bed in the room was soft and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and all the towels and amenities were well-stocked, making for a very reassuring stay. The daily cleaning service was also excellent; the staff would proactively clean and replenish daily necessities. The location was also fantastic. The hotel is situated in a very convenient area with many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. You can easily find food or daily essentials within a short walk. Whether you want to try local specialties or just grab a quick meal, it's incredibly easy. Moreover, the hotel is not far from shopping malls and public transportation, making it convenient for taking a taxi or public bus.

This hotel is perfect for families! It's spacious and comfortable. We'd definitely come back again. There are plenty of food options nearby too, like Nasi Kandar Kayu and Breakfast Bekal Cafe. It's also close to Bukit Jambul Complex. Really great! 👍

I recently stayed at Eureka Hotel Penang, and overall, the experience was below expectations. Service: The service was average—nothing particularly outstanding or memorable. Facilities: The parking system was quite inconvenient and costly, especially for multiple entries and overnight stays. In addition, the environment was rather noisy, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. Cleanliness: This was the most disappointing aspect of the stay. The overall cleanliness was poor, and the toilet in particular was not properly cleaned(Urine Stain), which significantly affected the experience. Overall: There is room for improvement, particularly in cleanliness and facility management.

At this price point, it's fantastic value for money. I'd definitely return. Although the location is a bit far from GT, I would still consider it for future stays as it's not far from the commercial area, and transportation is decent.

Room got bad smell from toilet, have crockroach, many ants in the table, There is no tooth brush/tooth paste, no slippery, shower cap etc as amenities in hotel bed not good need change new bed, Towel not fresh still got bad smell.. bfast too spicy for local food, Hotel price not worth it, old hotel
