"If you can book this hotel at a very cheap price, you won't go wrong. However, if they're asking around eighty euros per night, you'll find significantly better hotels. For the price I paid, I was satisfied. I couldn't check in until 3 PM because the room wasn't ready, and they didn't even offer a drink for the wait. The next day, all the towels were completely missing, and it took two attempts to fix it. The breakfast is rather below average, but you can certainly fill up.
Now for the positives: a large, clean room. An infinity pool on the roof. You can sit there comfortably and enjoy the sunset; the restaurant also serves by the pool, and orders are placed via the in-room phone – super convenient. There's ample free parking. Everything is easily accessible by car.
Conclusion: Because I got a very good price, I was overall very satisfied with my stay."

"Just 10 minutes from the airport, the rooms are small but beautifully designed, and offer sea views. There are coffee shops, a mini-supermarket, and McDonald's nearby. A taxi from the airport's basement taxi stand cost 5.5 to get here. At night, the front desk helped me call a taxi to the airport and it only cost 1.1, which is a steal considering I've paid 8 or even 10 for illegal taxis before. Such a great deal!"

"Everything was satisfactory, except for the lack of bathrobes. After a shower, you really want something to change into before going to bed. It wouldn't cost a fortune for them to add bathrobes. The bed was very comfortable. The room was cool, even cold. There's a kettle and all the amenities. Hot water was available, no issues there. We were able to rest and sleep during our transit."

"My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. All the facilities were excellent and clean, and the overall service was wonderful.
The only feedback I have is regarding the check-out process. Upon check-in, I informed the receptionist that I would be checking out at 2:00 PM, and I was told that it wouldn't be an issue. However, the next day, I started receiving calls and disturbances from 11:00 AM onwards, inquiring about my departure time, despite the prior agreement. I hope for better coordination among the reception staff and adherence to agreed-upon times to ensure a perfectly excellent stay experience."

MMrBoozyVery nice stay overall. The room was super nice and fully up to Mövenpick’s premium standard. The staff were also extremely friendly, and they were very flexible — they even offered breakfast, which I really appreciated.
I spent my Christmas Eve there, and they had an event by the swimming pool. It was a bit pricey, but you could see they put a lot of effort into it, and higher prices are expected in a premium hotel.
The location is very good, close to the main attractions and also near the airport by taxi. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and a jacuzzi, and the view from the pool area is quite open with a beautiful mountain backdrop. There are also several restaurant options on-site, which is convenient.
Overall, it was a solid and enjoyable stay, and I definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserOverall, Fraser Suites Muscat met our expectations. We stayed here twice, including three nights at the start of our Oman trip before Ramadan and two nights at the end during Ramadan. As we arrived late at night and departed for an early flight, a 24-hour front desk was essential. Check-in and check-out were smooth both times. Parking is plentiful, with spacious options both in front of the hotel and in the basement, which is at street level.
On both occasions, we were assigned One Bedroom Deluxe Suites with a beautiful view of the Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque across the main road. The rooms are spacious and feature a functional kitchen with a full fridge with freezer. However, we were disappointed that our request to stay in the same room for our second visit was not honoured. The check-in staff later explained they cannot reserve specific room numbers. We wish this had been clarified when we first made the request. This is one part of the service that I found lacking.
The blackout curtains are excellent, effectively blocking out both the sunlight and the heat for mornings we wanted to sleep in. The suite also provides a box of laundry powder for the washing machine, which was very handy during our first stay. Muscat’s dry climate meant our clothes air-dried quickly overnight in the service yard. There are a good number of electric sockets, including some international ones, throughout the suite.
While the rooms are generally clean, housekeeping was occasionally inconsistent with changing towels. Additionally, the shower area tends to flood due to the floor design, which was a common issue we encountered in other Omani hotels in this price range. The water pressure is adequate, but note that you must turn on the water heater in the room for at least an hour to ensure a consistently warm shower. This should be mentioned during check-in.
Both stays were very quiet with no noise issues. Bottled water was given generously and topped up promptly upon request without limits. Our only minor struggle was the air conditioning. We could not quite figure out the wall controls, the system seemed only to cool rather than heat. With Muscat temperatures ranging from 18 to 28°C, the room felt a bit too cold at night, so we opted to switch the unit off entirely.

GGuest UserOverall, I had a good stay at the hotel. The property is beautiful, the room was comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
However, there were two issues that significantly affected my experience.
First, the hotel charged a very large security deposit of approximately AED 1,600 for a two-night stay. This amount was charged to my card without a clear explanation during check-in, and I was not informed in advance about the size of the deposit. As of writing this review, I have still not received the amount back. Better communication and transparency regarding security deposits would be greatly appreciated.
Second, the housekeeping service was disappointing, especially on my checkout day. I requested ice cubes three separate times and only received them after approximately 1.5 hours. In general, whenever I requested something, it took a long time to arrive, and I had to repeatedly follow up with the staff.
That said, I would like to sincerely thank Carolyn Muimi for her professionalism and support during my checkout process. She took the time to assist me, address my concerns, and promptly send an email to the finance department regarding the refund of the security deposit. Her assistance was greatly appreciated and left a positive impression.
While I enjoyed the hotel overall and appreciated the facilities and atmosphere, I believe improvements are needed in guest communication regarding deposits and in the responsiveness of the housekeeping team.

EE1yi111I booked this for a friend who was on a business trip, and they specifically asked me to leave a good review. The hotel lobby is very stylish, the room layout is well-designed, and the desk is large with lighting perfect for working on a computer. The most important thing is the excellent soundproofing; even though it's in a busy downtown area, the room was very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hygiene details were also well-handled. As the person who made the booking, I feel really reassured getting this kind of feedback. I'll choose this place again next time I need to.

TThe Travel GuyExcellent location, many restaurants Shisha bar nearby, also is in the middle of everything. To all attraction everything is within 30 minutes taxi including airport. If you want to do boat trip or see activity, maybe it’s better to leave closer to the port. Before us the extra 20 minutes on a taxi is not a problem.
Very clean, very spacious, providing quiet luxury vibe. Breakfast is a little bit smaller selection than I expected, but the food quantity is good.
The room is very spacious and comfortable layout, the best bed I’ve ever slept on in any luxury hotel.
Only problem I had was in the room, they might need to do some quality checks, a lot of appliances does not work, for example the steamer didn’t Work, need the time to change it, also scale doesn’t work, it doesn’t read a matter for me but everything adds up just a small little disappointment.
On the first night, there’s some really loud noises from the air-conditioning throughout the whole night, raise this in the morning, second day afternoon already fixed it. It was a quick fixing, but I would have expected the room wouldn’t have such noises when I check in.
The spa is amazing!! highly recommended to do at least two hours treatment, this is definitely one of the best spa experience in any hotel.
Servicing overall is very good, specially the room cleaning stuff super friendly, the ladies in the spa also very nice, everyone on the servicing are super friendly, helpful. Just a front desk reception with a little bit of colder attitude.
Facility wise is enough, good size pool not the biggest but is enough. Unlike most of the luxury hotel,This MO hasn’t got their own private beach, it’s a beachfront property, however they have a small sessions on the beach with hotels own beach chair for the guest.
Is not a usual larger luxury resort, only 150 rooms, I will say the facility is okay but I would expect a little bit more. Also, there is no information to pre-book any activities or any special activities going on in the hotel unless you ask.
Pool size service m may be need a little bit of improvement. The stuff is very nice to lay down the towel the moment you reached the pool or the beach area. But this level of hotel should automatically bring some water, ice bucket, or sunscreen available to the seat. They are sunscreen only laying around at certain spot and you need to stand and use it.
Overall experience has been amazing, also it is top three best and luxurious hotel in muscat. But for this price everyone will expect a little bit more. I’d definitely rate 8.5/10 of the 3 days stay here.

OOsama BoussifWhat a wonderful stay we had at Park Inn! From the moment you enter the hotel everything feels so well maintained, clean and service is high. The check in was smooth and the staff is very nice! The rooms are spacious, beds are super comfortable and the shower was amazing, especially the rain shower. The hotel from ground floor/lobby to the rooms are clean and all of it feels fresh. The breakfast in the hotel is definitely a must have when you visit this hotel, everything is freshly made, the options are in abundance and we had a joy having breakfast here daily.
Points for improvements for this hotel from my point of view: why do they have a beautiful flat screen Samsung TV that's not Android/Google TV? We are living in 2026 and I just can't get over the fact that in a hotel like Park Inn you have a very poor choice of entertainment in your room. You can cast to the tv, but it works very badly and the built in web browser is just horrible to use on the tv. If possible I would recommend the hotel to just invest in this to make someones stay more pleasant.
Another thing for improvement is the coffee bar. I had 2 coffees there, one regular cappuccino and 1 Spanish Latte and unfortunately for such a hotel, with an amazing breakfast and what looked like an amazing dinner experience and a lovely coffee bar, the coffee was just not good, especially not for the price you pay for it. This resulted in me going out daily with my car to different coffee shops to get decent coffee. Such a shame, because the machines and set-up look ok to have some good coffee, I suspect the coffee beans to be the culprit or that something needs to be checked.
Other than these 2 minor points, this was definitely a very pleasant stay and definitely a hotel I want to return to whenever I visit Muscat again!

If you are only staying 2-3 days this hotel may be ok - but for longer stays I would not recommend.
Positives:
Great location if you like genuine Asian food - excellent cheap and mid-price restaurants within a few minutes walking distance - Indian Vegetarian and non-veg restaurants too.
Mosque within walking distance
Friendly helpful cleaning staff - most of them try their best to make your stay comfortable.
Very big room sizes
Good Wifi
Comfortable beds.

Fairly easy to get OTaxi within 2-3 minutes each time.
Negatives:
Mould in the bathroom, water leaks out of the shower onto the main bathroom floor - making a slip hazard
No caddy in the shower to hold your soap or shampoo etc, so you have to keep bending down to the floor to get or put your shampoo bottle.
Shower pressure was very very low - so no refreshing shower after a long day out. It was enough to wash your body but takes several minutes (water was hot OK).
Some of the sockets in the room do not work - so you have to keep unplugging things to use something else.
When we asked for an iron, the gave us a barely functional one with steam controls missing and no heat level markings so you are scared to use it in case you get a shock and/or burn your clothes. The 1st ironing board we were given belonged in the bin - I am not exaggerating - the cover to the board was ripped in multiple places, and bits of metal were sticking out - guaranteed to rip your clothes when ironing. The 2nd ironing board was new but the cover did not stay in place - so you spent twice as long constantly re-adjusting the cover than ironing your clothes.
The hairdryer had a difference plug than the sockets in the room - luckily I had my own converter.
The access card for our room door kept resetting every single day for the 1st 6 days. Every evening we come back, go up to our room and the card does not work - so we have to go back down again to get the card programmed. One on evening, I had to go up and down the lift 4 times - yes 4 times - because the lady on reception seemed to hear the number 3 when I say 2 - I don't know how to confuse room xx2 for xx3 - English is my 1st language and I speak at conferences, and with English speaking colleagues and clients around the word every working day. Even though, the first two times I went down the card actually had a sticker with the room number on it - but she still managed to program the wrong room number twice. On the 3 visit, she gave me a new card - but still programmed the wrong room number. On the 4th visit she finally said 'ah you mean xx2 not xx3' - and then she laughed and shared a private joke with her colleague. I got the feeling she was bored of the job and liked to play games with the hotel guests to cheer herself up.
Eventually after 6 days of this, I complained to a male member of staff on the desk and he programmed the card once and it worked fine for the remaining days.
The small fridge freezer remained on 24x7 - even on the lowest setting - so you heard the constant buzzing sound all day and night. It even froze and ruined some of our fruit which was in the fridge section and not in the freezer section.
The batteries in the safety deposit box had corroded and you could not operate or program it. They gave us some keys for the safe, but they did not work properly - so we were scared to lock anything in the safe - in case you could not unlock it again - funny hah!
The shampoo and shower gel bottles were called something like Eco wash - but they were almost always only half full - so you had to use a single bottle of each every time you showered - so we probably used at least 45-50 bottles between us during our stay - what a waste of plastic.
