Great
ZZijiayouxinlingdeziyouBuilt in 1912, The Manila Hotel exudes old-world grandeur and luxury with its European-style architecture, spacious lobby, arched doorways, massive chandeliers, and wooden window frames. Interestingly, General MacArthur's suite, from the time he lost to General Peng during the Korean War, is preserved on the fifth floor – history certainly has a way of repeating itself... The breakfast selection is quite extensive.

Great
WWubbaWubbaWubbaBeautiful and large comfortable rooms with a view, Shower pressure was great. Drinking water dispenser at lift landing provides instant hot and cold water. Rooftop dining and kitchen area was adequate and clean. Gym was sufficient for a casual workout on your travels. Nearby Robinsons mall is huge and provides for your dining and grocery needs. Now the location… unfortunately Malate smells like piss. It’s just how the area is. All breatheable air has moved to BGC and Makati. My first day I walked along Taft Ave, the main thoroughfare where the LRT tracks run along, it was unbearable. I suggest if you’re walking to Intramuros or the National museums, turn left coming out of the building and walk down Adriatico or Roxas. It’s less putrid near the bay. Avoid Taft at all cost. The entire team at Lyf I’d encountered, front desk, concierge housekeeping and dining, were all super helpful and smiling always. Bravo, team!

IitsreallyjaineStaying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila. The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.

The hotel strikes a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern comfort, creating a welcoming atmosphere the moment you arrive. GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hotel Sogo, and I must say that my overall experience was pleasant and satisfying. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-maintained and organized the place was. The room was exceptionally clean, which gave me an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation after a long day of travel. The floors were spotless, the linens smelled fresh, and the bathroom was tidy and well-sanitized — no traces of dirt or unpleasant odors at all. The housekeeping staff clearly does an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness. They were very polite and accommodating whenever I requested for towels or extra toiletries. Every time I stepped out and returned, the room was always in perfect order — bed neatly fixed, trash emptied, and surfaces dust-free. Aside from cleanliness, the room ambiance was cozy and peaceful. The air-conditioning worked well, the lighting was just right, and the TV provided a good variety of channels. The bed was comfortable enough for a restful sleep, and the overall environment was quiet, which made it easy to unwind. I also appreciated the staff’s friendliness and professionalism. They greeted me with smiles and made sure that check-in and check-out were fast and convenient. Their hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is also a big plus — very accessible to transportation, convenience stores, and restaurants. It’s ideal for travelers who want a clean and affordable place to stay without sacrificing comfort and convenience. Overall, I would describe my stay at Hotel Sogo as clean, safe, and comfortable. It’s a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize cleanliness and good service. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I need a quick and relaxing place to rest.

DDjanielle Nicole ResonableAlthough the staff are nice and polite, it cannot hide and disregard the importance of cleanliness inside the room. I was from a long flight & I had my medical check up also knowing that I am pregnant I find it alarming tgat by the timw I arrive it was not properly cleaned. Even if the hotel is not new, the cleanliness should be prioritized and there are chemicals for stains etc. These pictures are taken JUST THE TIME I HAVE ARRIVED and it makws me sad. I stayed here befoee but its not this worst.. I’ve been staying to different hotels just sadly they are fully booked so I picked Go hotels but I must say I’m disappointed & I am afraid to come back again Also the sheets are already stained I am paranoid it was not washed properly I myself work in a ship for catering that’s why I am aware that these things can be avoided or corrected Bur kudos for respecful staff the way they greet and talk.. I also told frontdesk the other room beside me was noisy & politely ask for help to tell that I can’t sleep. I have to wake up 3am to prepare for my medical & I even extended my stay but things are the same the cleanliness really needs to be taken seriously

BByahenibossrodFirst impression: the room is small for a studio type, but the space isn’t maximized with decent interior design. It looks like a very ordinary room with no sense of order, and it doesn’t give you a relaxing vibe or ambiance. They have a breaker for a washing machine, but there’s no washing machine there. That breaker also powers the outlet for the refrigerator. They’ll ask for a ₱3,000 deposit upon check-in and will refund it at check-out if everything is in working condition. The key card they issued didn’t work, so it was useless. You can’t get through the entrance without asking the guards to open the gate for you. I hope they improve the interior. There are a lot of cheap items they can buy from online shops.
