I recently stayed at this hotel and can confidently say that the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived until the day of departure, everything was handled with exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to detail. The level of service provided truly felt outclass and made the stay both comfortable and memorable.
One of the most impressive aspects of the hotel was the cleanliness. Every area—whether it was the room, bathroom, corridors, or common spaces—was spotless and extremely well maintained. Housekeeping deserves special appreciation for their consistency and dedication. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, fresh towels were provided, and everything was arranged neatly, giving a real sense of comfort and hygiene.
The staff were outstanding. They were polite, respectful, and always willing to help with a warm and welcoming attitude. Any request or question was handled promptly and professionally, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. Their hospitality created a relaxed and positive environment throughout the stay.
The room itself was well equipped, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a restful sleep, and the overall atmosphere of the room was peaceful and pleasant. Everything worked perfectly, from lighting to amenities, which added to the stress-free experience.
Overall, everything about this hotel was perfect—from service and cleanliness to comfort and management. It is rare to find a place where all aspects are maintained at such a high standard. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality accommodation, whether for family, business, or religious travel.
I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. A truly excellent stay from start to finish.

The hotel was amazing. The staff was really helpful. They offered us a empty plates when we needed that we had the food from outside in the hotel. They allow us in the rooms and everything they give us a proper service all the time. The bed sheet is very changed and this provided a bus shuttle to the Haram And the staff at the reception was also very helpful and problem-solving staff. I’ll recommend the people to use this hotel, another one..

I stayed there in the same year it opened, 2023, and honestly, I was blown away by the hotel's luxury, location, the service of the staff, the overall tranquility, and the wonderful rooms. Even the food was excellent; I consider it the best I've had so far. Even if you don't stay there, I highly recommend trying Patras Restaurant. Since it was my first stay in the hotel in 2023 and I was so impressed, I went back and booked a room for my friend to try it, and I will definitely visit and stay there

After a few initial hiccups with room size, maintenance issues, and the card system at reception, the kind Guest Manager upgraded us to a suite on the 25th floor—what a thoughtful gesture! The proximity to the Haram makes the whole experience so much easier, especially when returning from prayers. You can literally see the Kaabah from the hotel exit, and being near the Clock Towers gives you easy access to shops and restaurants.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing—top-class food served by very nice Bangladeshi staff who were attentive and kind. Funny enough, after all the sweat and crowds at the Masjid, returning to the hotel and smelling its freshness was such a relief. *************.
The hotel usually offers gahwa, water, and dates after Salah, which is lovely—but as a heads-up, it tends to run out quickly, so not everyone always gets some.
The views (if you opt for the higher, more expensive rooms) are incredible. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, making it easy to rest after long days at the Haram.
Overall, despite minor hiccups, the excellent service, stunning location, and comfort make Marwah Rayhaan by Rotana highly recommendable. *************, it made our Makkah stay much more comfortable and memorable.

We had a pleasant stay for 2 nights, booking 2 rooms for 6 adults. Check-in was smooth and easy. The staff were generally helpful, from the bell staff who assisted with our luggage to the reception and room service.
The rooms were clean and well-equipped with the necessary amenities. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk to the Haram, though the walk is slightly uphill.
On the first night, the extra bed we requested did not arrive, and we had to follow up again the next day before it was provided. It was a bit inconvenient, but overall our stay was still comfortable

Amazing
GGuest UserMy stay at Swissôtel Makkah was excellent in every aspect.
The hotel’s exceptional proximity to Al-Masjid Al-Haram is a major advantage, making it extremely convenient for prayers and Umrah without any transportation hassle.
One of the standout features is that the hotel offers two entrances: the main entrance and an additional side entrance, which allows for smooth and quick access in and out of the hotel. This is a very practical feature, especially during peak times.
The food was outstanding, with high quality and great variety. Most importantly, the restaurant staff were incredibly dedicated and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
Another point worth highlighting is the hotel’s flexibility and professionalism, as they kindly allowed us a late check-out extension of two hours, which was greatly appreciated and added to the overall comfort of our stay.
Overall, Swissôtel Makkah is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a prime location, exceptional service, and high-quality dining, providing a truly comfortable and memorable experience near the Holy Mosque.
MMarziraHotel Review: Raffles Makkah Palace
My recent stay at Raffles Makkah Palace was absolutely outstanding, offering a seamless blend of luxury, thoughtful touches, and exceptional service that made our experience unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the reception team and delighted with a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. The upgraded room was not only spacious with breathtaking views but also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, reflecting the hotel’s high standards.
A special thank you to the reception manager, whose professionalism and welcoming demeanor made the check-in process smooth and set a positive tone for our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction were truly appreciated.
One of the thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience was the provision of bath salts, allowing us to unwind and relax after completing Umrah. It was a small but meaningful gesture that added to the overall sense of care.
The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The housekeeping team was proactive, consistently checking in to ensure we had enough towels, toiletries, and other essentials, contributing significantly to our comfort.
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The breakfast service team was attentive and welcoming, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. They even provided a walk-around tour of the buffet spread, introducing us to the menu and explaining the dishes. The breakfast theme was thoughtfully curated, offering a wide range of delicious options to suit every palate.
Desta and Sandhy stood out for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs, making us feel truly valued as guests. Hajar also deserves special recognition for her patience and creativity in resolving our requests with practical and thoughtful solutions.
The in-room dining team, especially Farouk, provided excellent service. Farouk’s attentiveness and efficiency ensured that every meal was delivered promptly and with care, enhancing our overall experience.
Raffles Makkah Palace sets the gold standard for luxury hospitality. With its outstanding service, thoughtful gestures, and exceptional team, it made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah and look forward to returning for another incredible stay.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is fabulous
There are three routes to the masjid ul haram. One is exiting the lobby and turning left, walking up marriott and then turning right (you will see the haram to see what I mean) - then walk down the slight hill. The second is exiting the lobby, and walking left across the street, straight through hilton convention. The third is exiting the lobby, turning left and walking up the stairs that are next to Makkah Gate sign. You then turn left and head to haram down the escalators that everyone posts about online!
It is hilly using route one or three, but not really an issue for walking or pram users.
This is aside from two other ways to reach the haram: the marriott shuttle bus which drops you near conrad, near the I love Makkah area. Or, the golf buggy which takes you the same route as Walking Route One I mentioned above. Id recommend getting the buggy as its less crowded. The golf buggy comes to the same drop off spot to take you back. Shuttles buggys are really constant and timely, jus wait around. The marriott is opposite the Address hotels back entrance.
There are wonderful coffee shops if you climb the stairs as mentioned in my Walking Route 3 I mentioned above. Great area to take children to play and run around.
The mosque is part of the haram so every room has a live speaker during prayer time with mic volume to adjust. You can joim salaah from your room or go to the prayer room on floor 3.
Reception gave us a cheaper breakfast or dinner price than online voucher places.
Breakfast is average but convenient.
There is a cafe on ground floor that serves nice hot or cold food anytime in the day. A baskin Robbins freezer is also there.
Hotel staff and reception are lovely!!!
AAnonymous UserPrice: Very cheap for a 4-star hotel. Good value for money.
Location: Quite far, located in the an Naseem area, but like the vive there.
Shuttle bus : very excellent and very punctual.
Room: Overall okay, but the toilet is quite small.
Breakfast: Has a good variety, but the menu is almost the same every day. I stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating nearly the same items daily.
Staff: Generally okay, but there was a serious incident that affected my stay. One night, a bellman attempted to open my room door 2–3 times. Fortunately, I had engaged the inner lock, so he was unable to enter fully. He was accompanied by other outsiders, which was a clear breach of guest privacy and safety.
I immediately made a complaint to the reception. They offered a room upgrade, but the room change process took a very long time. I waited from before Maghrib until after Isya, and eventually had to go to the reception myself to follow up.
Wi-Fi: After changing to the new room, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I had to sit near the lift area just to get a stable and stronger internet connection, which was very inconvenient.
Nnita88Our second time here and it has always been a great experience with the hotel rooms.
The shuttle service to masjidilharam is perfect, but the gate under clock tower most times are closed, unlike before. So we have to divert to jabal umar area before arriving the outdoor courtyard.
GGroup of Ulama from UKWe initially booked Emaar al khalil, but after an hour of waiting, we were upgraded to Emaar Grand Hotel, therefore the stay was good overall.
Emaar Grand has 15 lifts which a plus point at this hotel especially during peak times, otherwise other hotels lifts are an issue at times.
GGuest UserHuge thanks and appreciation to the receptionist, Sara! She was a wonderful example of dedicated nationals who go above and beyond to serve the guests of God (referring to pilgrims or visitors to holy sites) with such warmth, cheerfulness, and excellent service. My thanks also go to the buffet staff and our Saudi coffee server, Abdulmajeed, and the rest of the team. Thanks to everyone for a truly unique experience!
MMina LuzonI booked executive room & expect a great amenities , the toilet is way too small.I arrived in Makkah early and sent an email two days before my arrival if I Check in little early but the hotel appear to be clueless about my request. The receptionist can speak fluent English
witch is great for Non Arabic speaking guest.
GGuest UserOur pilgrimage was meant to be seamless. Choosing your hotel, so close to the Haram—a short walk, as promised—felt like the right decision. The journey, however, took its toll before we even arrived: a delayed flight led to a six-hour travel ordeal, and we reached at the hotel exhausted but hopeful on January 10th.
That hope faded at the front desk. Despite our confirmed booking for two rooms from January 9th to 12th, hotel’s system showed a puzzling three reservations. I presented our single trips.com itinerary for both rooms, only to be told I needed two separate booking numbers. The conclusion was delivered with an apologetic shrug: according hotels records, we only had one room. For a family of seven, fresh off a long journey, the frustration was indescribable.
The proposed solution was to crowd all seven of us into a single room while they investigated. The room, we discovered, was disappointingly tiny—barely enough space for our luggage, let alone seven people. For four anxious hours, we waited in cramped limbo, our patience wearing thin. Thankfully, the issue was eventually resolved and our second room was granted on the same floor, few steps awayz
While we were grateful for the eventual fix, the experience was marred. We also noted that while the walk to the Haram was conveniently short, the path itself was unfortunately quite dirty, which detracted from the sanctity of the approach.
This wasn't just a booking error; it was a failure of hospitality at a moment when we were most vulnerable. The proximity to the Haram is the hotel’s advantage, but it must be matched by impeccable service and maintained surroundings to truly honor your guests' journey.
GGuest UserAmazing stay Brother Ahmad and the sister at reception were both helpful. We got checked in at 4pm… as it was busy took slightly longer than usual. Room service was outstanding. Location is brilliant plenty food around. Would stay here again only 10min walk. Best hotel in area! Rate is 4 Star!!!
